Apologies for the late review. Lovely guesthouse perfectly situated. Jonathan and Adam are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely house, lovely breakfast, would highly recommend. thanks for looking after us.

Thanks for an excellent stay, I have to say excellent breakfasts… with a lot of choice … The rooms and whole place is so clean and welcoming… Very close to the centre of town… Johnathan and Adam were very helpful and friendly, giving us good advice on the Catbells walk … Good times.

A wonderful and comfortable stay with excellent hosts Adam and Jon. They couldn’t do enough for you to make sure you had everything you need. Our room was clean and had great facilities. The location is fantastic as you’re right in town and it’s great not having to worry about parking as each room has a space available. Breakfast was delicious, excellent quality and service. Can’t wait to come again!

Adam and Jonathan were great hosts and Brierholme was perfect. Located just minutes from the town centre yet still quiet and relaxed. A very hearty breakfast to set you up for the day and a lovely fresh and clean room and amenities. They had adapted to COVID so you can feel safe but without it being the focus and detracting from your stay. We'll definitely return.

Superb B&B right in the centre of Keswick with the most friendly and welcoming hosts you could ask for. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Free parking (a huge plus in Keswick in high season! ) and great advice from Jonathan and Adam about where to go to eat in Keswick and the walks to do. The breakfasts are excellent. High quality food, beautifully cooked — and plenty of it! We loved staying here and we will be back. We highly recommend it to anyone wants to stay in this area.

Just home after a lovely two night stay at Brierholme. Beautiful accommodation, a period home with splashes of modern decor very tasteful and spotlessly clean. Adam and Jonathan were the perfect hosts, full of knowledge and nothing too much trouble. Really made us feel welcome and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this B and B practically perfect in every way. Thank you will will hopefully return.

Just had a fabulous 4 days in Keswick, staying at Brierholme. The whole house is quietly elegant, with dashes of quirk. Spotlessly clean, fantastic breakfast, superb hosts, nothing was too much trouble for Adam and Jonathon. A 2 minute walk to the town centre, onsite parking, we will definately be back.

Just back from an amazing 4 days in Keswick. Brierholme was recommended to us by friends and we’re so pleased they did. Jonathan and Adam gave us such a warm and friendly welcome on arrival and this hospitality continued throughout our stay. They have great local knowledge and recommended hikes that were suited to our abilities. No judgement here for me bottling out of tackling Catbells… maybe next time. The accommodation has recently undergone a stylish refurbishment and they’ve really made the place their own since taking over. It’s in a fantastic central location and the views of the fells in every room are wonderful to wake up to. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the hospitality tray in the room is well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. The home baked tasty treats that you can help yourself to in the afternoons goes above and beyond expectations. It just shows how much they want you to enjoy your holiday and were a very welcome energy boost after getting back after a long walk. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending you stay here. We can’t wait to return, in fact we’d only been home a few hours and I’ve already made an enquiry about next year.

One word FANTABULOUS! Myself and my hubby and friends, went for a weekend break and what a lovely surprise we got on arrival. We were met by the host's smiles beaming and they offered to help with our luggage too! On entering the guest house or what we thought was a guest house, it felt and looked more like a 4 star hotel! … Stunning decor and extremely clean and modern. We could even choose from a VAST choice of breakfast from cooked English breakfast to croissants. My favourite was fresh strawberries, blueberries and a yoghurt that wasn't tart and tasted like cream mmmmm. (I forgot to ask what it was before leaving) Then we got taken personally to our beautiful rooms again better than most hotels we've stayed in. Believe me I've stayed in quite a few after working in travel for 30yrs as my background. We had everything a girl could ask for from in room tea/coffee /kettle, even this had Galaxy hot chocolate! There was a hairdryer, mirrors galore for getting ready with lights around mirrors! Brilliant. Lots of storage space for clothes with great woodern hangers provided. Our sleep was great too … soo comfortable the bed and clean crisp linen's. The bathroom had huge soft, crisp white plentiful towels, with hand wash and hand cream to shower gel… it's was soooo new and modern we can't wait to go back. I'm personally going back for the little cakes left for us on the afternoon free! … lol.

Very nice B&B. Very clean, comfortable, friendly and helphul hosts, lovely breakfast. Parking is available if a little tight. But this place is within a very short walk of the town centre so this is to be expected. Well worth a visit and recommended.

We booked our stay here after reading other excellent reviews and have not been disappointed. Adam and Johnathon are fantastic hosts. The room we stayed in is lovely and spacious, with views towards Latrigg and Skiddaw beyond. Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared with local produce. Location is superb with all that Keswick has to offer right on the doorstep. We'll certainly be back again.

Excellent place to stay. The proprietors couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Everything about this B&B is great. It's right in the centre of town. The rooms are very good with en-suite showers rooms. The extra touches at breakfast time couldn't be better — help yourself to fresh fruit and cereal, full English, homemade marmalades. Perfect place to stay for any sort of activity in the area.
