Having just returned from my friends wedding at the Driftwood Spars I could not recommend this venue highly enough. The staff were amazing, so accommodating and really went above and beyond to make sure the wedding day went to plan and guests were happy — the rooms were cosy and clean and the food delicious! Had a fab time thank you Keith and all of the team 👍

Fantastic bed and breakfast pub accommodation right next to the beach. Car parking spaces provided for B&B guests and amazing food for evening meals.

Awful experience a couple of weeks ago for our anniversary, food terrible, flavourless and small! Left for our room feeling hungry!, breakfast which was sausage beans and mushrooms; was served pork sausages on a vegan breakfast, queried them, was told they were 100% vegan (all their sausages are?! ) then I said I’m sorry I just can’t eat those and when we checked out the lady said ever so sorry you were right they were pork! Disgusted and worried for anyone that goes here with allergies or religious beliefs! So disappointed as we’ve been here before and enjoyed it so much!
Emailed to express concern, no reply and £200 down we left our anniversary night feeling gutted that one of our fav places was now so terrible : (

Stayed here for a short break. Felt very Covid safe as a lot of thought had gone in to how to keep staff and visitors safe. Our room had been decorated since our last visit and had new furniture. Loved the drop down table. Breakfast was ordered on day before and arrived on a tray promptly. Was hot and delicious. Plenty of choice. Evening meal was table service on a tray to an adjoining table so we could serve ourselves.
Every safety precaution had been taken and I thoroughly recommend The Driftwood. Looking forward to our next visit.

Ate here tonight with my family after a couple of hours on St Agnes beach. Fantastic effort from the team — really well managed social distancing dining outside and quick efficient service via a no contact app ordering system. Pleasant, friendly team handling the table orders outside. Wi-Fi can be a bit hit & miss so check you can get a signal to order & pay. Parking was also free as I spent over £10 so was given a voucher towards parking worth £5.50 but I feel I was really lucky to bag the last parking spot. I had the dressed crab which was lovely and fresh. Burgers also look really good and are a real mouthful. Loved it here and would recommend wholeheartedly.

What an absolutely fantastic effort from all involved to adhere to government guidelines and to protect customers and staff alike. This is the first place I've been to that has taken the 2 metre social distancing really seriously and the staff actually cared about doing so in the process. Having collection points for food and drink is brilliant and ordering on the website is no issue. The food was amazing as always, and desert even better! I would like to apologise to the waiter who took a glass from the end of our table and apologised to me when I ducked away from him. It's just a reaction I have nowadays and I only did it so he might feel more comfortable, not me! Thank you to all the staff for creating a wonderful and safe experience, I cannot praise and recommend you enough.

Great food great service not a long wait for food would recommend to any one to go there. Staff are friendly and welcoming 10 out of 10. A rear occasions to have a date night and that is always the place I would pick.

Great old fashioned Cornish pub. Nice restaurant area upstairs but we opted to eat in the pub area. Staff very friendly, informative and welcoming. It’s about a 1/2 hour drive from home but well worth the visit. Had the roast beef which was spot on delicious.

A must go to place!
