Just got back from a weeks motohoming at this site and although looks to be under development in places we had a good time. Toilets and showers clean and easily accessible hardstanding fully serviced pitch was level really fantastic and the wardens were brilliant. Only downside for us no busses stopped outside of the park due to being a busy main road and the day we went to the pool a large family came and took over with their ball throwing which pushed all the other families out it was reported but sadly the lady did nothing about it and it was later reported again to the manager who apologised. Price was slightly more than it should be but overall the wardens made up for it in bucket loads they couldn’t do enough to help. Would / Will return.

We just had the best experience for our 5 year olds pool birthday party. The facilities were wonderful, particularly the huge inflatable obstacle course in the pool. But the thing that clinched it was the total friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Thanks for making it so easy to party with 20 kids and parents!

Home from a great few days at Atlantic reach. The perfect base for activities around Cornwall and only a short drive from Newquay.
We found the contemporary cottage plus perfect for 5 adults and 3 children, nice and roomy and warm. The staff we nice and friendly and although we didn’t use lots of the facilities due to the weather we found the pool great for little ones which was nice and warm.

Absolutely terrible stay — I would not recommend going here and I would never go back! There is no customer service at all, they are rude and completely useless and basically do not care about customers. I asked on day one to speak to a manager and was promised that someone would make contact, with no one on site at the time! After 4 days stay, still no contact from a manager and not one person available despite going to reception multiple times. We were constantly given the story that there were no managers available throughout our stay! Utterly disgusting, how can you run a business with no mangers onsite to deal with mine or anyone else’s concerns. There was No Wi-Fi and the swimming pool was filthy, tissues around the edge of the pool, sand in the pool, the changing rooms & toilet were disgusting 🤢. They Definitely need to look at their health and safety policies and I would like to know the levels of chlorine in the pool, as by law the pool should be checked more than once a day, so please share these? The last year had been about Covid & being safe, there definitely appears to be a fragrant disregard for it here and I actually don’t know how they are running a business still! The massive issue for us personally was no soft play on site anymore, but it was advertised when we booked and no one told us until we arrived that it had been removed. It was still on there T&C’s which they acknowledged but, still no contact from anyone.

Awful stay — found dead flies on our pillows & TV didn’t work. No Wi-Fi in the houses & with small children & no TV or Wi-Fi on rainy days was no fun!
Swimming pool was filthy — tissues floating in the baby pool & around the edge of the pool too. The changing
rooms & toilet were dirty too. In the world of Covid & where health & safety are supposedly high priority — that was not the case here! No managers on site to speak to either — which is crazy to have no point of contact! No soft play on site but is advertised when we booked! So all in all an awful stay and a waste of money…would NOT recommend to anyone! We will NOT be back!

Brilliant camp site nice and clean lovely staff and camp rangers so friendly. We’ve had a lovely time used the indoor pool a few times which was lovely while it was so hot outside. Cafe food was really nice visited the pub during out stay.
Showers were cleaned a few times a day so we’re nice and clean lots of grass for kids to play their football will def visit again absolutely brilliant thankyou Atlantic reach :)

We stayed here recently for 3 nights on the campsite and had a great time! Really clean facilities which were cleaned very regularly, lovely staff, in particular the two men on the kitchen in the cafe and the camp wardens too!
Nice indoor swimming pool too which is kept at a warm temperature, and not too busy either!
Only thing I can say is that in places (the children's play area and outside areas) it could do with some TLC as these did look a bit run down, however with COVID etc they have done their best and we would go back.

Stayed here in many occasions. Staff are always polite and helpful. Site is always clean. Would certainly recommend to anyone.

House we stayed in had loads wrong with it, staff were rude, charged us for damages that was NOT in the house we stayed in, staff not interested in complaints and just passes it to someone else, I wouldnt go here again even if you paid me.

First time here tonight. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. They took the time to show me around. So happy I moved here. Definitely recommend to anyone.

A great site. We stayed in a 4 bed house and had a lovely holiday with family.

Absoloute dump. Cold showers. Filthy pool with tiles lifting which cut your feet. Dirty water. Camping steward is an absoloute drip. Not allowed to speak to to others on site nor laugh or or breathe. Kerry on reception has 0 customer service skills and don't bother to send an email as you will be ignored even after the 3rd, 4th and 5th email! Sue on check in is lovely :)

At Atlantic reach out door pool was filthy the tiles on the bottom were all cracked and broken and the biggest let down the staff management at that are extremely rude disrespectful which made this a completely unpleasant would never return there again I would pay double the money to stay somewhere else.

Love Atlantic Reach, who are continually improving. Great range of family facilities and situated in a good place to tour Cornwall, and come back to your cozy home, & welcoming site.

Great club gym swim classes spa good food soft play area all for under 10quid a week you cant get fish n chips for that… friendly staff plus lots more.

I joined the Atlantic reach leisure thinking theres no way I would be jumping about like I now am doing the team there are friendly encouraging fun and help you in which ever way they can I had been to another gym before hand which just wasnt challenging me.
what I love about atlantic is the variety of classes the gym and pool all under one roof you can work as easy or as hard as you want to its affordable and has a pamper parlour for us ladies n gents to get showered n glam up for work.
I cant thank the team there enough I love this gym so much the decision to change to atlantic reach leisure has changed my life. Before moving down from Sheffield Atlantic reach was the place we stayed with our then two dogs it facilities and the location is ideal it was whilst staying at atlantic that we started to think we could move down here the accommodation being like a home from home so I really do have alot to thank Atlantic reach for a better life with lots of beach walks and a healthier lifestyle with the gym best place and best move ever. Thank you x.

There's so much going on at the Atlantic Reach, great selection of studio and pool classes, well equipped gym, kids play area, cafe, inspirational instructors and happy helpful staff… the best place to be working on fitness. Thank you all xx.

Great local leisure centre with a modern well equipped gym. Amazing selection of classes on at all different times of the day. Friendly staff and great cafe to chill in after a work out. Try the omelettes they are awesome.

Nice 4 bedroom house lots of rooms. Perfect for us only wish we were not working so we could use all the fertility’s. Staff very helpful.

Run down site, needs a good tidy up. Outdoor pool was dirty, no entertainment. Completely disappointed after a week stay here in June 2019. Only good thing was our 4bed accommodation… very clean and perfect space with all the kids. And the site location. Will not be returning!

Extremely poor management… dirty changing rooms… unhelpful staff… questionable food hygiene… serious health and safety concerns… and unresponsive to complaints.

Arrived 27 October. Arrived to be told that everything is closed this week as it was half term last week! Yet half of the UK are on half term this week. No spa, no entertainment, no kids activities (especially for halloween). The accommodation is very grim looking from the outside and basic beyond belief. Complained about the lack of activities but no apology or compassion received. I guess we will stick to center parcs and bluestone wales next time.

Staying on the THS in our Motorhome, with our 5 year old. The facilities and pitch are very good. We paid our £20 extra for the day pass on our first day, a rainy day. First impression was a dated holiday site. However the pool area, was very warm and clean. Although dated needing some refurb we really enjoyed it. The kids soft play area was good, although could have done with someone clearing the used plates and cups, and wiping the tables. The evening kids entertainment was absolutely excellent, the staff brilliant, the bar area and set up very good. One small point again, tables could do with a wipe every now and again. My wife said the ladies toilets needed to be checked more often, problems with empty dispensers. We didn’t eat on this occasion in the bar but had a few drinks watching the entertainment. Personally, the local ales were very nice and my wife enjoyed the white wine, very good, the bar staff were very friendly, attentive and quick. Well done for evening entertainment which apart from some gripes on the daytime leisure front overall an enjoyable time.

Currently on holiday here now. First day was not so good. Came into our 4b house to find someone had left poo in the toilets upstairs. Ordered an extra high chair and waited over 12 hours to receive it, called reception twice about this. Heating came on and in this weather! Went to the pool. It was dirty, had a lot of stones and sand in the small indoor pool especially, I’ve complained twice, I have been told it was cleaned so I returned to the pool today and yet more sand in the pool then the day before. Had to get my daughter out once again as she hurt her foot. No life guards to be seen on the pool side. Staff in restaurant seem nice enough but chatting to each other a lot when people are waiting to be served. Not very much to do on the park if you have children below 3. The outdoor park is more for older children. Place could do with a bit of TLC seems like a old place.

They are well-intentioned three stars. In a work certificate, they were anxious.
We had one of the old apartments, which was nicely renovated at first sight. Looking closely, you could see quite a lot of fuss about the construction. The apartment was very small and the beds even smaller. The kitchen was well equipped. For three nights I paid 500€ and expected more. I can't say anything about the new houses, visually they looked better by lengths.
On arrival, the woman at the reception was very annoyed by my bad English. She has also made no effort to hide it.
The outdoor pool was far too small and unmaintained for the mass of people. The touted trampoline was max. 3 meters in diameter and scrap. The indoor pool was OK. Free Wi-Fi was only available in coffee, not in the old apartments.
The facility is something for families with small children when the demands are not so high. For children up to about eight years there is a lot to play for (inside and outside). The gym was very well equipped with a lot of new equipment.
The location was good, in no time you could visit different beaches.
All in all, I would have expected more for the money.

Currently on holiday at atlantic reach and have so far enjoyed every minute. Staying in a 2 bed garden terrace which is fantastic value for the money. Very clean and tidy. Lots of activities on site to keep the kids busy. Overall a really lovely place for a holiday. Will be back again.

We have just come back from a week in a 2 bed villa during the May half term break. We had a fantastic time and made good use of all the facilities on site. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed in a privately rented villa, so can’t really comment on the accommodation as we didn’t rent directly from Atlantic Reach. Atlantic Reach site pros: — lots of facilities, very good for young children most of which are free/included in rental. Activities that are charged for are cheap, e. G. £3 for some kids club activities, but most were free. Our children are 7 and 2 (nearly 3) and had a great time

— fantastic entertainment team. The entertainment was one of the highlights of the holiday. There was always something on that we could take our children to and the evening entertainment was good, especially the Blues Brothers. The entertainment team were very friendly and helpful. They encouraged everyone to take part, but without being pushy or over the top. Very talented bunch. Lee was especially helpful and good with the kids.
— food at Manor was fairly decent and reasonable, if a bit slow
— nice attractive site — lots of gardens, old Manor House (the Manor pub) and attractive housing (most of it anyway)
— easy to get to, just off A road. Close to beach and big supermarkets (in car).

This was a great place to stay as it was close to Newquay but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the town. House 33 was good, although the beds were loud and it seemed to have a small ant problem. On one of the days, we did have to call the maintenance team, but the team sorted the boiler out quickly =). I did the outdoor kayaks activity and the instructors were helpful. Although I didn't come with my dog, I saw a lot of dogs on resort and it seemed a very dog friendly place to stay… all in all, a very good stay!

The room was nice. There was and issue with a leak and the back door not locking, but these were resolved quickly. Parking is difficult with no dedicated areas for each property. Couldn't experience all facilities so can't comment greatly on them. Site is nice overall but could do with a bit of a spruce.

We regularly visit the soft play at Atlantic reach. The staff are friendly and my kids love the soft play, it's a decent size and reasonably priced for locals.

Came to do swimming lessons with my daughter. Love how simple and easy it is to find my way around. Changing facilities are clean and showers are always kept clean. Had a drink and some food this time, staff were helpful and friendly. Food arrived quickly and was freshly made. All in all very happy with my experience.

Me and my son loved the place! Loads to keep ourselves entertained. The chalet was great. Clean, tidy and nice decor. Sports facilities and the gym are pretty good. Enjoyed pizza friday in the restaurant. Generally, good food. The outdoor pool is a good size. Bit nippy though.

Stayed here several times, June 2017 most recent. Facilities are good, the accommodation is very good and very clean, and the staff are all so friendly, and so hard working. The location suits us too. Easy access to surrounding area, just out of town, But not too far. We love it here and will be returning as soon as we can.

An amazing resort, the whole family loved our weeks stay. The Contemporary Cottage was wonderful, entertainment — spot on, catered for all ages. Swimming pool, gym included and the spa, shop, children extra activities all at a reasonable rate. We shall definitely be returning. Not too far from the lovely beaches too.

Sadly on our way home from a great week at Atlantic Reach. We booked a 4 bedroom "lodge" privately through TripAdvisor. Definitely recommend that accommodation. We didn't have time to use all the facilities at AR so I can only review what we used. Wish we'd had the time to use everything but we were out and about every day. Our kids loved the evening entertainment as did us adults. Lee, Carl, Ryan and Jade were great entertainment crew. Swimming pool (indoor) was nice. We didn't eat in the restaurant but we did eye up other people's food as it looked nice. Same for the café. Playground good for kids. I would have loved to have used the spa and even joined the body combat class but no time for everything.
Would definitely recommend and if we do return to Newquay we'd definitely stay there again.
