The food was great, the staff friendly and the view from the restaurant over the Camel estuary wonderful.

Great location and a really nice interior — friendly attentive service and very good sized portions of lovely food with the exception of the roast beef which was very tough and chewy so I gave up on it — I’ll go back though.

Having recently moved to the area we thought we’d pop in & was pleasantly surprised. Cracking range of drinks, friendly staff, great atmosphere & the food was outstanding! I think it’s going to be our new ‘local’. Bloody marvellous!

We’ve just come back from a fantastic 3 day break. The staff are an absolute credit to the restaurant and hotel and our room was incredible. We’ve already booked Easter for 2021 definitely 10/10 faultless.

We had a lovely family meal at the Pickwick Inn — our first since the start of lockdown! Staff were very friendly, and every precaution had been taken to keep everyone safe. The food was delicious and the kids portions were very generous. Highly recommend.

Warm welcome as usual, top quality Sunday lunch with superb views of the Camel estuary from the dining room. The Mussels were delicious for starter's.

The ambience is superb from the greeting at the bar, fabulous food, gorgeous (boutique style) accommodation and friendliness of all the staff. Beautiful views and a prime location to ‘get away from it all’ … can’t wait to visit again once lockdown is over.

My wife and I went to pickwicks last night for our 20th wedding anniversary,
And as soon as we got to the pub, we had a lovely warm welcome, and even though we were 15 minutes early, we were shown straight to our seat, we were greeted with a smile from our waitress, sorry we forgot her name, but she was attentive, without being in you're face, we soon ordered our wine and food, a great Australian black lable merlot, starters were the scallops for my wife, and mussels for me, my wife had lamb 2 ways, and I had the ribeye steak, we have been privileged enough to of eaten in some very fine restaurants in the past, and this gorgeous pub/restaurant is right up there with the best, the food was of an excellent quality, perfectly seasoned, and the sauces were some of the best we have had, particularly the sauce with the lamb mmmmmmm, it made for a perfect end to the perfect anniversary,

we live in sussex, and already plan to return.

We had Sunday roast there recently it was first class. I am a beef farmer & the beef was perfect bit like the view & the staff. Would recommend it to anyone.
