Wow what a fantastic place. Hosts Andrew and Theresa were warm and extremely welcoming. They made our stay very enjoyable.
Feeding Ronnie and Reggie was brilliant! And not forgetting the sheep and chickens. A beautiful location, fabulous breakfasts… the sausages were exceptional.
thank you both for making my birthday wknd one to remember! We will be back!

What a love place and a warm welcome, such a quiet place to relax. We will definitely be returning when weather better. Breakfast was great.

A warm and cosy guest house, fantastic rooms, charming owners with a top-quality breakfast. A great location to explore Cornwall from — we cannot recommend Penvith Barns highly enough. A wonderful Cornish home from home!

Just returned from a lovely stay at Penvith Barns to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Lovely peaceful location with plenty to do within easy reach inspite of mixed weather. Andrew and Teresa are very friendly with lots of advice of things to see and do and great stories. Fabulous breakfasts including their own yummy Summer Porridge. Enjoyed feeding the animals. Very thoughtful and inclusive hosts, nothing was too much for them!

We really enjoyed our time at Penvith Barns! The room was very clean and it has a great atmosphere, because the building is really old. In the morning we helped the owners feeding their sheeps, chickens and goats which was a fun experience and a great start for the day. The breakfast was really tasty and all ingredients were local from Cornwall. Also they tried to avoid plastic as good as possible and we think that's a good thing to do in our time we live in.

Awesome hosts, so caring, so thoughtful. Comfortable plus… and the food for breakfast was DIVINE! Feeding the animals was just a treat… thankyou sooo much for including us.

The peace and quiet, the tranquil location, the personal attention to detail by the hosts Andrew and Teresa, nothing is too much trouble, rooms are nicely equipped and presented, very comfortable, the breakfast is cooked and presented to your requirements, oh and you get to feed the animals in the morning… what more could you want, definitely coming for a return visit.

This is one of the best b&b’s we have ever stayed at the room we had was spotless with an amazing view over the valley I couldn’t say a bad word about the accommodation, location or Andrew and teresa. Andrew and Teresa are lovely people who have so much pride in what they do it’s unreal I’m definitely going to recommend their place to anyone I know wanting to go to Cornwall. They also made a massive effort and went out of their way to accommodate my 11 year old daughter by taking her to collect the eggs and feed the chickens and the sheep along with asking her if she needs anything to be more comfortable.

Wow, what a fantastic place! High quality accommodation, feels like home. Breakfast has to be one of the best in the area. Super fast broadband all over. Love it. Secure parking for motorcycles. Will recommend to any bikers coming this way.

Andrew & Teresa (Owners) make it impossible to leave this place feeling anything other than positivity towards your stay. They are friendly and accommodating from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Nothing is too much trouble. The room we stayed in (The Piggery) was cosy and had everything we needed for a long weekend away. The breakfast is top notch, only to be topped by the view from the back garden of the property. Would recommend to anyone and we will be back to stay again.

Stunning location, beautiful rooms, glorious views and the very best of hosts with Andrew and Theresa. Amazing breakfasts and lovely touches like the guest kitchen and a little fridge in your bedroom.

A great place to stay as your base to visit cornwall. Hosts Andrew & Teresa are warm and friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Accommodation is great and those breakfasts! Make sure to take up the offer to feed the sheep and chickens to the rear of property.

Very friendly and entertaining hosts, the best breakfast we've had during our 2.5 weeks in south England, and stunning views from the gardens. If you're lucky you might even get to help Andrew feed the animals (sheep and chicken, of which the latter are in charge of your breakfast eggs ;). Looe is in sort of a walking distance, and you can always get a taxi for the way back, or drop in at the Beach Rock Café for dinner.

We had a lovely stay. The owners are really friendly and couldn't do enough for you to ensure you enjoy your stay. The room we were in had fantastic views (hen house I reckon it was) I'm disabled and struggle with stairs and the owners offered us a different room so I didn't have to climb the stairs up to the room, we declined the offer though. The room was quiet and well looked after, although the owners are new to the industry they're doing a fantastic job. The rooms have dvd TV things and a selection of different dvds are in the porch as the Wi-Fi speed ain't all that quick. What do you expect for the middle of nowhere though, tis normal. They have chickens and sheep and if you want to you can go up in the morning with the owner and feed them, I reckon kids will like that, my wife seemed to! Over all was ansum, proper job, will be going back ewe.

Just got home from a wonderful quick weekend away in Cornwall. We stayed at the beautiful Penvith Barns — amazing food and great company — the owners, Andrew and Teresa, are lovely. Would definitely recommend a stay!

Just got back from penvith barns today a group of 5 of us came for the weekend and what can I say but from the second we arrived we were made so welcome by Andrew and Teresa nothing was too much trouble and our friend has a wheelchair and they did everything to make her comfortable and make our weekend really special. The breakfast is fantastic and the rooms are lovely and so comfortable and location is beautiful without a doubt we will be back.

Well, where do I start?! What a beautiful place to stay! My partner and I and our 4 year old daughter booked two nights for the New Year at Penvith Barns, upon arrival we were greeted immediately by Andrew who kindly offered to help us in with all our bags, we were then offered delicious warm mince pies and cream which our daughter was very happy about as mince pies are her favourite! We were shown to our room which was ‘The Dairy’ absolutely beautiful spacious family room, very warm and welcoming feel to it, huge bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space! We noticed the breakfast menu in our room had been personalised to show our Daughters name as well for her breakfast which we thought was really sweet. There was a little gift on her bed as well, a lovely little princess colouring pack which instantly bought a smile to her face, such a lovely thoughtful thing for Teresa and Andrew to do! We were well looked after throughout our stay, we had complimentary milk and chocolate in the fridge, the beds were so comfortable we slept amazing both nights and breakfast was incredible. We were introduced to Bonnie & Clyde the sheep and were even allowed to feed them which our daughter absolutely loved, she got to feed the chickens too and hunt for eggs ready for our breakfast the next day as well. Andrew and Teresa also have two dogs which are beautiful and very friendly.

New owners are really friendly, great place for a quiet get a way.

Perfect place perfect food perfect hosts also great for dog lovers we spent a long weekend for our anniversary and could have wished for a better place to stay, we had some amazing recommendations from Julie any Graham they are so informative and helpful in everyway. The location and room could not be faulted and the breakfast was something else, catered for every need. We would definitely recommend anyone going to Cornwall to try and book here.
