Stayed for a week. Really enjoyed it, perfect for the beach, steps were a killer, particularly with my bad hips and knee but I expect you could request a lower apt.
beds comfy, good Wi-Fi, very clean. Take extra deck chairs if you plan to sit out as there's only 1, plus balcony not very private. However, very peaceful and relaxing, wasn't ready to come home.

Lovely beach, not too busy and the sea was great for the kids. Beach bar was great staff very friendly. Cafe was good for coffee and ice cream as well.

Good water sports, pub and cafe and loos all close by, nice food and good views at the pub.

Quiet. Beautiful. Friendly. Relaxing.

We only had snacks and drinks which were nice and the staff were so lovely and attentive especially lovely Maya who went out of her way to get us a cab. Thanks for helping to make our day more enjoyable 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lovely apartment just a shame they dont use pillow and mattress protectors. Good Wi-Fi. Need to be very fit for some of the apartments. Ours was the highest and really struggled at times to get up all the stairs with bags and cases. If you have mobility problems be sure to ask for a low one.

What a wonderful place tucked away by the most stunning Cornish coastline, the chalet was amazing well kitted out with absolutely every thing we needed a lot of thought had gone into this.
our daily exercise going up and down the 45 steps got a lot easier by the end of our 8 days but we are fitter for it

Wow… A real hidden gem. Just returned from the most delicious Sunday roast and we will definilty be back again! The staff were so friendly and attentive, norhing was too much trouble. The food was beautifully presented and tasted heavenly. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Friendly staff. Cannot do enough for you … hot coffee… delicious cakes … perfect spot right on the beach … we love it here.

Good beach access, excellent watersports hire and great Cafe.

Lovely area. Loved our chalet had a brilliant time. Only complaint is the speed people drive on the roads round by the chalets even though it says 5mph.

Amazing bungalows with perfect views of the beach. TV’s will accept your fire sticks if you worry about not being able to bring films with you for those days where you want to sit in and chill. The balconies offer lovely views in a tranquil setting. Excellent location.

A last minute booking, called direct and have been made to feel like the whole thing is a breeze, many thanks to Emma. Beautiful villa, peaceful, beach is fabulous, rental place on beach sells essentials like crabbing nets. And ice cream! is a bargain (especially as we couldn’t carry beach stuff like nets, beach balls on the train) and the boys and I feel very happy. Thankyou to all for letting us see a beautiful part of Cornwall we didn’t know about.

Absolutely love this place! Beach is beautiful, you can chill and have BBQ on, have food in the little restaurant or sit at the bar and watch the sunset and take in the amazing views x x x

Myself and my Husband has the most wonderful time here! They villa it’s self was clean, fresh and had everything you would need considering we spend less that £250 for a week stay we got free internet and a box of household products including hot drinks etc. I can’t fault the villa at all, the land was also clean and kept tidy. The staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly again I can’t fault them. The bar was lovely and the cafe, well how do I start, the staff again lovely. The food was incredible, we ordered the Special which was a seafood stew, AMAZING! And the cooked Cornish breakfast was also amazing! Best restaurant we visited in Looe on our short stay. Couldn’t complain on the price. I’m very impressed with The black rock resort! We are already planning on coming back again next year!

Saggy, uncomfortable bed, no Wi-Fi, no phone, no phone coverage, slow, inefficient heating. Well equipped, nice view, convenient location, helpful staff. Bistro excellent, staff lovely.

Just come back from a long weekend and it was just what I needed. Beautiful resort. Accommodation was gorgeous, it was very clean and considering it was so cold, the accommodation was very warm. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay.

We visited the cafe a couple of times whilst staying in Millendreath and can’t recommend it highly enough! Great food, extremely friendly and helpful staff and a great location overlooking the beach. Thanks.

We had our day after the wedding gathering at the bar. It was out of season with sideways rain and the staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Amazing club sandwich too!

My husband & I stayed at The Black Rock Beach Resort after seeing an article on the Cornwall Live Facebook group, this was about the Beach Bar, I followed the link & showed my husband, a few days later we booked.
We received a warm welcome & stayed in Hillside Villa No 14, a Fantastic villa with a beautiful view over the bay, the villa was a comfortable size with everything we could need. (The only requirement would be to have hanging space for clothes, there were plenty of draws, although I prefer to hang my clothing) the balcony is a Great size. We enjoyed an evening at the Black Rock cafe, this becomes a bistro in the evening, I started with tempura vegetables with chilli mayo, really crunchy & delicious; with main as beef Ragu, this was a healthy portion & again delicious, my husband had line caught pollock purchased from Looe fish market that morning, served with chips & crushed peas, he said it was the freshest & tastiest fish, I then had fruit with a refreshing homemade mango sorbet also blush cider. The gentleman who served us was lovely & chatty & also gave us a warm welcome on a wet & windy evening, we were showed to a table overlooking the bay, lovely view as the sun went down, the cafe is certainly a must to try. We did also try out the bar, although for a hot drink after a paddle in the sea, we chatted to the barman & We explained that we had booked after seeing the article on his bar. We shall certainly be returning in the future.

The villa was pleasant with fairly modern furnishings and deco. All staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. A bit steep getting up to the villa and could do with some low level lights installed to aid passage during the evening. Little beach plus bar and cafe are great additions. Perfect location for costal path walks to Looe and Seaton. Quirky looking place but all good. Great as a base to explore this part of Cornwall.

Excellent location near the beach but only a small cafe and a small bar everything else is a drive away.

Make sure you visit morrisons first and get a good shop other wise you will starve to death but other than that great place.

Millendreath has changed so much over the years! Have been coming here since I was a child as my parents own one of the hillside villas. Witnessed the site go from fantastic years ago with the clubhouse, swimming pool, amusements arcade, pub, shop, launderette and takewaway chippy. To then see it get run down and everything close was such a shame (what was the owner at the time thinking? ) And finally seeing it redeveloping is amazing! The new site owers are doing a great job so far! All the staff there from the cafe to the bar and even the beach club are so friendly and helpful. Really looking forward to many more years spent down here and to see how the site continues to grow. Keep up the good work black rock resort. The only one thing I can say is a disappointment is the cafe no longer doing takeaway food. Would always pop down for a portion a chips to go alongside dinner in the villa. Or sitting on the beach munching some chips.
