Beautiful House with awsome views. Helpful staff and very welcoming. After a long trip enjoyed a cup of chocolate in room, and every thing was clean.

Reviews. They're funny aren't they? Some people just love a moan. These people are easily identifiable by THEIR USE OF CAPITAL LETTERS. Capital letters should be ignored. Except on signs. And labels. They are very important on signs and labels. With that, here's my review of Trecarne House where I ACTUALLY (capitals can also be used in my reviews because, well, I'm making rules) stayed, as opposed to seeing it on TV show and writing a not-very-insightful review based on that. I stayed at Trecarne House as I was attending a wedding nearby. Ordinarily, I wouldn't have considered a B&B, but since my brother was booked in with all his in-laws I followed his lead. At the time of booking I had a bit of telephone tennis with Trish. When we finally spoke I liked her immediately. She seemed good-humoured and accommodating. This was reinforced upon arrival. Trecarne House is a lovely house in an amazing location. Clean and well kept, it has a lovely family feel to it which Trish solidifies with her personality. Breakfast was lovely, admittedly on the expensive side, but when you consider it was cooked fresh to order in a family kitchen you can't really complain. And if you order it at the time of booking it's cheaper booked with the room. Thanks Trish. You made for an excellent host.

One of the loveliest B&b stays I've ever had. Trish is very welcoming, friendly, professional and passionate about what she offers. Beautiful rooms in a beautiful Cornish setting, very comfy large bed, clean, great vibe, great views! Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return and would highly recommend. Most of all, Trish is what makes the whole experience so special. A lovely, kind hearted lady who loves what she does and it shows :-)

I often find it hard to relax when away from home but Trish made us feel so welcome and we have just returned from our special trip to a family wedding feeling super chilled, energised and very happy. Trecarne house is in a beautiful setting and the location is perfect for exploring Cornwall. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and it was amazing to wake up with the doors thrown open, listening to nothing but bird song. The shower was fabulous and our room was spotless. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the cooked and continental breakfast options which were both freshley prepared and delicious. Thank you, Trish for making this special occasion even more memorable. We will be back soon!

My wife and I were made to feel most welcome as was our dog, Tigger, who made himself at home! Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our two night stay. No downside with the B&B but finding it did prove somewhat of a trial. Better directions would have helped.

Wow! This by far has been the best hospitality experience we had the U. K. Considering that I've travelled at least half of the planet and worked in this sector for world renowned companies within the industry.
I have to say that staying with Trish at the Trecarne House made such a memorable moments that we'll treasure it for the rest of our live!

I've just watched Four in A Bed and witnessed the proprietor Trish demonstrate herself to be a spiteful nasty piece of work who runs a dirty bed and breakfast. I feel for her husband.

Unfriendly / nitpicking owners! Dust trap under bed, hair in milk jar / on plate. Be prepared if you are going …

No pets friendly. Control friendly. No way to relax with Trish all time around pretending to be nice, but she is not. We got there at 9pm exhausted after a long travel and hoping to do the check in and relax. This lady followed us all around and getting into our room doing inquisitive questions to me and my partner pretending to be nice but we realized she is not, tried to sell us the next day breakfast (which it was ridicuosly expensive) up to 3 times been too perssistant, Obsessive with noise with the excuse there were childrens sleeping, which is ok, but we had just arrived at 9pm and we were scared about taking a shower or talk to each other. There is loads of examples we could give about our time there to show how rude and false she really is. I dont normally comment my experiences about the hotels (and we both are experienced travellers) but I think I would have liked somebody to tell me… DON'T EVER GO TO THAT PLACE. Worst experience ever.

Fabulous. This is the friendliest B+B I have stayed in. A modern, large house with amazing views but mainly an owner who knows her business and is passionate about making everyone welcome. My son wanted to use the table football but the ball had gone missing… no problem, the owner ordered them and set the table up the next day… these details make all the difference.

Trish the owner was terrific,, warm and friendly and very helpful. The accommodation is of a high standard and very homely feel. The staff we met in the morning were very much like Trish, Rachel that served our breakfast was lovely too. The views from our room were breathtaking views of the countryside and the morning mist over the valley in the distance was magical. If you want a holiday to remember or just a romantic break this is the place for you! One thing being off the beaten track is a bonus no noise from anything no traffic etc, just the sound of the Birds in the morning. Take a break here you won't be disappointed! It was a last minute booking for us. Apartment size is good enough for a family. Kitchen-Lounge-Bedroom are well maintained and clean. My two year old enjoyed the stay! Would suggest to my friends. Trish is a lovely host!

Great place to stay. So good I keep going back! Lovely home, wonderful breakfasts, friendly care. A good jumping off point for all of Cornwall.

We rented trecarne house for a family weekend and had the a great time. Trish is a great host and was extremely friendly and helpful. The house and location was perfect and I would recommend without any hesitation.

Nice house in the middle of Cornwall, which is very practical to visit the whole area.
Rooms are nice, quite large and clear, and so are the bathrooms.
Breakfast is fine, and it includes a good variety of food for a B&B. Hot meals like eggs and bacon, for example, are available.
Wifi is good.
The owner is very friendly and quick for every necessary support.
Very recommended.

We went here a bit worried about the other reviews that we saw online. But we found it to be Ok. The rooms clean and no problem with Trish, the host (We didn't meet Tom). Good breakfast. It is really family run so if you don't like this avoid it but if this is not the case then you will be fine.

Horrible, foul, beware, stay away. Hosts, Trish and Tom are disgustingly out of touch with reality, they run an overpriced bed and breakfast, that is FILTHY and DIRTY. They are in their own little world and do not provide a service they should. They provide the absolute OPPOSITE to hospitality, Tom is so dementia riddled his behavior is so off-putting I would never go back. I am scarred by my experience at Trecarne House. Beware, stay away. Worst experience in my life.
