Great place. Easy, quick check-in from friendly staff. Great food. Nice breakfast. Nice room with little balcony (#4), very comfortable. Water pressure in shower not so good, but minor issue compared to all the positives. Stunning location ON the beach. The food but at the ends of the garden is excellent. Check it out — well worth it.
The check in with Ian on arrival was warm and welcoming. The rooms are a little older and could do with a renovation, but they're comfortable enough and have the essentials. The location by the beach and the view are amazing. I probably would have given 4 or 5 stars if not for our experience at the bar. The coke I ordered from the bar was flat, but I was reluctant to complain as I was comfortable and enjoying the view too much. When the meal arrived, I had drank about a third of it but I mentioned to the young waiter about it being flat. He took it away and brought me back less than half a glass of coke (also flat) … seems odd not to just give me a full one, especially since the original was faulty. I was given the impression he thought I was just trying to score some free drink. I also ordered more bread to accompany our meal, but was charged more than the table next to me and had to negotiate the price of bread with the bar tender. Overall, the bar was very unprofessional and seemed unappreciative of our custom. It's a shame as it missed an opportunity to be the highlight of our entire holiday with such a great setting.

Wow. Beautifully located on one of the best beaches in the Southwest, this hotel with it's stunning sunset views has become our favourite place to eat or drink in the area,. The seafood is exotic, creative and delicious and the desserts extraordinary. We find every dish surpasses our (high) expectations though very reasonably priced. We love the incredible views and the way the beach merges into the garden of the hotel. The staff seem to delight in making customers happy, the interior is relaxing with funky modern colours, and did I mention — the views are awesome!
