Lovely place to stay. Very welcoming.

Very nice building and surrounds, but nearest evening food during weekdays is 4km away and requires an advance booking. Wi-Fi connection is almost non-existent, except at the ground floor and the entrance. Phone reception is also awful, at least for my phone on roaming. Italian themed, as the owners/managers are Italian, and the only place so far didn't offer a "full cooked English breakfast" as part of the package, but the Continental breakfast was good, with tasty crusty bread rather than sliced square bread.

Thank you so much for making my parents Mr Mrs Brunton's stay such a lovely one. They said the hospitality and cleanliness was amazing!

I was there with a Group for 2 Days. Yes, it crunches at one point or another In the House and I've already seen nicer Bathrooms. But the House has its own Charm. Everything was picobello clean. The Location is just great. You can look out over Valleys and enjoy the Cornwall charm. The Breakfast was super delicious. Italian Salami and beautifully covered Tables. On the Ground floor there is a large Lounge With jazz music. Also on the upper Floor There is a small "Salon" The House is decorated with many old Decorative Embellishes. The House is run very personally and the Host personally takes care of his Guests. Personally, I am a Cornwallfan and hope that one or the other Trip will lead me back to this concealed and slightly creaky beautiful house.

Fantastic place. Lovely setting. Spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast. Great host Jonno (although we called him Marco he still answered, found out at breakfast it was Jonno) sorry if I have spelt that wrong. Will come back and bring our dogs next time.

On the plus side organic earl grey tea in the rooms which were large. On the negative side. Rooms were cold. Heating was minimal. Struggled to sleep because of the cold. Bathroom heater didnt work. Curtains didnt reach the floor by about a foot! so it let the cold and the light in, Staff were disinterested and unhelpful. Breakfast was attended by a girl in a hoody and tracksuit bottoms who couldnt cook toast!. Breakfast was continental but did NOT state that it was, so was expecting full english. Wouldnt have stayed there if we had known. Rooms were not clean. Shame as the house and grounds are beautiful. Not worth the money. Wish we had stayed in a proper hotel. Just read other reviews… it appears the place has gone downhill … alot. Dont bother! The attitude is abyssmal!

Nice hotel, but a cold place, with minimal heating.

This is by far the worst accommodation we have ever encountered. The owner was rude and disrespectful. The food was not even worth commenting on and was outrageously over priced. There was no hot water but the owner had no interest in listening when I attempted to discuss this with him. We had two suitcases which I had to drag up and down two flights of stairs while the owner sat in his office and offered no assistance. Extremely disappointed with this accommodation.

The hotel is listed as a luxury facility. This is far from the case. Putting old furniture, which smells foisty, in hotel room does not make it a luxury accommodation. The room was drab and dated, filled with both spiders and woodlice. The building is beautiful, it has so much potential, but is a major let down. The continental breakfast left much to be desired, food is only offered on an evening on weekends and even then its a bizarre choice of a menu. Overall a thoroughly dissapointing stay.

Authentic, rural retreat with welcoming owner and staff. Trattoria open and food simple, homemade and delicious. This is a relaxing place to stay,. Easy access to tourist areas. Looking forward to our next visit.

Very enjoyable stay. Marco really nice, made us very welcome. Breakfast appetising, evening meal we really enjoyed, staff very friendly. Never done a B&B holiday with the dog before but worked well.

Great country house, good central location to explore Cornwall. Marco is a real gem, 3am after a lighting storm torch in hand, he, s out there checking everything. Thanks Marco. Finally the real stars of Tredethy House, the breakfast front of house ladies, nothing is too much trouble and they are so helpful. I would definitely stay here again. In summary an excellent value B&B. Aka, the weatherman.

Lovely country house with warm staff but sadly dated and worn around all the edges. Clean and comfortable.

Amazing little boutique B&B set in picturesque countryside. Family owned and run which adds to the intimate atmosphere. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast delicious!

We stayed 2 nights, and really enjoyed ourselves. Marco was very welcoming. Our evening meal was delicious, and the breakfasts were also extremely good. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and my wife particularly enjoyed the large bathtub. The view from our top floor window was spectacular. A very relaxing and beautiful place to stay!

Best Italian food in Cornwall by far. As delicious as it is authentic.

Secluded, peaceful and Tranquil, what more would one want. A retreat of home to home and wall to wall niceness. Good food, comfy beds, cleanliness and very lovely people. I have been here twice to stay and l will go back of course, l like it to much not too. Tredethy has many things on offer for a person who loves to rest, read and take time out. A little hideout in a very layer back county.

The Hotel is run by Marco (plus family and a few staff) he's a good character and makes you feel very welcome, he also does the cooking (Friday/Sat only for evening meals), i'd recommend the pasta dishes which are freshly made and tasty where possible everything seems to be organic (including wines and beer). Our room was comfortable, clean with nice views over looking the grounds. As with other reviews expect a relaxed atmosphere in this lovely airy house. Great location being close to the Camel trail, take your bikes and cycle into Padstow etc. All in all good value.

Overpriced pretentious cold tastless food.
