I have used this hotel and spa for many many years while traveling with work and have always found the service second to none. I have always found the staff to be friendly helpful and always willing to go out of their way to assist and ensure your stay the best it can be. Hotel is clean tidy and recently decorated. I have never found any problems with any of the rooms I've stayed in. Food is fantastic be it either from in the main restaurant, room service or hotel public house on site. The selection is wide and sure to cater for the majority. The local pub on site has a great chilled out environment with a host of beer, wines and spirits. It also benefits from sky TV and shows football games. The gym is large and has both exercise machines, weight machines and free weights. It also has air conditioning. The pool is a good size but does get a little busy in the mornings and outside of term times. The pool area also has a jacuzzi, steam room and steam room. When ever visiting the area this is one of the first hotels I consider.

Very nice hotel with loads of places to relax, chill out and enjoy some peace and quiet. Parking is quite expensive though so it might be worth parking somewhere else and walking there. The staff are friendly and helpful and they have a great selection of drinks and food options, ranging from snacks to full meals. Whilst on the expensive side they are good and above average so price wise its justified.

Love the pool and spa here. Water is warm for a pool for once. The gym is OK, has a quite good selection of equipment but no Nuffield. The waters provided at the pool are great, herbal infusions of orange, lemon or cucumber. Also get a towel and free locker. Could do with some colder water to wash off with.

Excellent experience for all of our family. The staff are very helpful and polite. Room is very good and the food and spa excellent. We would recommend it to our friends and certainly come again.

Fabulous stay for the family. Have stayed many times over the last 20 years and never been disappointed. Family room booked for £99 inc breakfast. Cookies and milk for the girls before bed and they always lay on a cinema and games room at Easter to entertain the little ones. We spent a lot of time at the pool too which is on site (with spa/gym/steam/sauna/jacuzzi). The hotel has great links to the M5 and M4 and is just around the corner from Cribbs Causeway for shopping/dining out/cinema. Don’t all book though as I still want to go back from time to time :)

Comfortable and pleasant stay Only stayed one night on route to Wales. Very comfy bedroom with all that's needed and very clean with shiny taps (big thing for me). Ordered room service and food arrived within 30 mins hot and very tasty, apart from adding the tray charge (£3.95 about normal) it was nice that the price wasn't hiked up. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, and it was great they kept the coffee coming, Plenty of choice and very hot. Check-in and Check-out was great and very easy. Both people on reception very pleasant and friendly. Over all the night stay was 10/10 and we couldn't have asked for more. Next time must remember swimming stuff.

I get the spa access free with work. It's great, nice swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Then on the other side you have the gym section. Mostly treadmills, not much variety on the weight section though. Next to the gym you have an open workout room. Nice little punch bag in there too. Can't go wrong with free access. Service is great too.

Hotel is well presented and half the rooms are lovely, the other half are slightly dated. Worth it for access to the lovely pool. Vegan dinner options are quite limited, but breakfast was well catered for with breads, plant milk options and a raft of vegan hot items.

The main hotel was excellent with fabulous rooms, gorgeous food and lovely staff however we did have an issue with a member of staff in The Black Sheep where we were rudely treated whilst trying to watch the England v Wales rugby match and the member of staff switched the TV off 7 minutes before the end of the match and effectively threw us out of the building saying that she should have closed at 6 and had done us a favour letting us watch the match as long as we had. We thought that for the sake of 7 minutes she would have given us the time to watch the end of the match, especially as we had spent quite a lot if money between the group of people who we were with. She didn't even let us finish our drinks so we had to take them back to our own hotel room to catch the end of the match! Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay and we are looking forward to returning in April with a lot more of our friends.

I cannot recommend Aztec Hotel and all the staff enough! Planning our wedding was so easy with their wonderful help, couldn't have done it all without their personal touch, nothing at all was too much. The day was magical. Thank you all, especially to Lauren and Alex for making us feel special and for helping me get down the corridor to the ceremony! Lol Warmest thanks Julianne and Ollie x x.

A great place to stay. Here for two nights stay and meetings with work. The staff are very helpful and the meeting rooms are well equipped and modern. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and come with everything you need. The only downside is the cost of parking, so make sure you factor that into your stay.

Had our Christmas meal here and with approx 10 people on 10 tables I wasn't sure how the food would turn out. All 3 courses were perfect, the main meal was still hot and the service amazing. The only tiny thing was the slow service at the bar. More staff needed here as so many people to serve with big orders. All in all great night.

Booked the restaurant for a family birthday and it was a real disappointment. We were seated in a cold conservatory area and complained about the temperature but nothing was done. Ended up putting our coats on during dessert. The menu was uninspiring and very expensive for what was served. My duck breast was 16 pounds with no accompanying vegetables. We asked for condiments some of which only arrived when we had finished our main course. The rest of the service was also very slow with long waits for plates to be cleared and repeatedly having to ask for drinks refills. The manager did deduct the price of our desserts due to the cold restaurant but by this time the evening was spoilt. Come on Aztec. You can't expect people to pay these prices and provide such a poor quality service in return.

Great hotel. Lovely rooms, restaurant was perfect and excellent choice for breakfast. The pool and gym were also a great addition.

Had a work Christmas party here on Saturday. Food was excellent, room was very clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will book again as everyone was very impressed.

We had a lovely Xmas meal followed by dancing. I had a delicious gluten free meal and my friend had a lovely vegan meal. They were served at the same time as other courses. Really professional. Dancing after was a good mix of songs too.

Good rooms and decent gym & pool. However, the quality of food in the restaurant is very very basic and portions tiny yet the bill would imply either one or the other would be vastly greater! Stay for sure but Forget eating here! Update… the photo shows a "main course tuna steak" the side of veg cost extra. The tuna tasted of NOTHING!

Beautiful building, tastefully furnished. Attended for a professional assessment day, meeting rooms were well equipped. Only issue would be the expensive parking but luckily this was validated by the company so only had to pay a few quid.

Lovely hotel. Recently stayed here with my wife and two young children. Spacious family rooms, nice swimming pool and lovely restaurant. Grab an accommodation and meal deal if you can find one. Very worthwhile.

Fantastic afternoon tea in a wonderfully decorated room, staff on hand frequently. My first spa experience, had a fab, relaxing facial from Sarah and chilled in hot tub after. Will definitely return.

The staff here are very friendly and the rooms are pretty cool. Unfortunately the food was dreadful and the price for food and drink is ridiculous!

The room location and staff were excellent. We had a couple of gripes on the Monday night in the restaurant. We were told of 1 item that was not on the menu but when we ordered there were several items including wine which were not available. We changed our starter to the pop corn chicken which was absolutely terrible could of got better at KFC. The staff did rectify this by removing both from the bill and supplying a free desert for my wife. I have given it the 5 stars because it's they sorted out our complaint straight away. I would definitely stay here again.

I wish I took more images of this place! 10/10 the decor was stunning, the thought and detail is just perfect. The pool and facilities are just amazing. Hufe car park, staff available late at night. Tbey even fixed us up a drink. Just perfect. The room was lovely. I want to go back and stay longer.

I booked a room for my daughter and me as a treat, as we were going to a ball here. Wow! The staff are lovely and very helpful — the gentleman who booked us in was very charming. The room was very spacious and comfortable, they have literally thought of everything! We had a great view overlooking the pond. The spa/pool facilities were ace and easy to use. What a great treat for us. I would definitely come here again, the evening meal was delicious — looking forward to breakfast!

A beautiful day at the spa nice pool heated to 28 degrees Jacuzzi a little hot but nice to finish the day in beauty and relaxation a very nice face massage the staff is very polite and very smiling.

I'm a regular at this hotel and have been for a good three years. It has a great atmosphere and a low staff turnover. The rooms are generally good and comfortable and facilities are great. It's owned by the Thwaite's brewery and has (for a hotel) a great range of beers. When it comes to the restaurant, great food, great service… But… It's not as good as it was. It's one of the few hotels that I've stayed in whose restaurant I would recommend, but they used to do really imaginative and good value daily specials, which when you stay regularly, stop you getting bored, plus the prices have increased. It's difficult to get a starter + main for under £30. It's good. Two years ago — 5 stars, no argument. Today it's 4… Bring back the daily specials. Your chefs are talented. Give them some freedom.

A lovely stay with excellent food and facilities.

I went to aztec hotel for lunch. Its a nice, calm hotel but not many staffs are around and I didnt like the food much! Also the conference room carpet floor looked dirty.

Attended workshop at this hotel, utilising their meeting facilities. Would definitely recommend. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the facilities were excellent, and the catering provided was great.

Very unhappy with the service and the food. Didn't receive what was available on the menu, also asked for pudding which they said would take up to an hour to prepare. As this was a celebration of my daughter's 18th birthday we feel very unhappy.

Excellent food and lovely staff. Can't comment on quality of rooms as didn't stay overnight.

Nice hotel for a work event. Conference rooms were great. Food and drink were excellent. We were conducting interviews and had to conduct them in bedrooms (with the bed folded up) a little odd. Good venue anyway.

Visited Aztec West for a training course with work. Very good facilities available and everything was a high standard. Food in the restaurant was delicious and a good variety to choose from. Staff were very friendly and happy to help you.

Staff friendly, welcoming a polite can't fault anything. Chef created us at a meal time and was interested on the quality of food he produced which was nice to see 10/10

I was at this hotel for a training course. The facilities are not bad, but it is very far from the Center, too. The bus takes more than one hour and taxis are expensive. Around the hotel there is nothing.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, however the week of training not changed not one only day tablecloths, and that had dropped a coffee and some other juice etc. A disgusting.
As restaurant, it is beautiful and the food is quite correct for the United Kingdom, but service is slow and somewhat dispersed. One day we were two hours waiting for dinner. Unacceptable.
The spa is small, no frills too much chlorine and odor.
