The Deanwster put on excellent hospitality for a 25th Wedding Anniversary party. Very helpful and a lovely setting.

A regular hotel for me due to work. The staff are friendly and always helpful. The rooms have a kettle and small selection of coffee and teas. The rooms could do with having a small fridge as one the bar closes at quite an early time you have no access to milk or cold drinks. The hotel could do with a night staff member as once the hotel bar closes after 10pm there is no one manning the reception desk.

Good location for lunch. Varied menu at a reasonable price.

Fantastic place for a wedding the ceremony was there also fantastic day & evening would recommend.

Attended for a 90th birthday. Staff were attentive and polite but had a jokes with us all too. Excellent food. Would definitely come back!

Very helpful staff when we enquired about having our wedding at their venue. Very clean and high standards inside and throughout.

The gold suite was a fantastic venue for our smallish gathering if 24. We sat for our really tasty meal then moved to sofas and chairs, with lots of room for kids and babies and lovely big toilets upstairs which were great for quiet feeds with baby whilst baby changing facilities downstairs were just right too. Lovely afternoon spent. Highly recommended.

The venue is very nice. The refreshments were very tasty and the staff were friendly. My only real complaint is that the toilets were very cramped.

Nice place, warm comfortable room, motel style accommodation. Clean and contemporary decor in the rooms, modern style bathroom fittings all in good working order. Once off the main road you feel like you're in the countryside. Bar and restaurant is more traditional style, cosy but still a light and pleasant space. Staff welcoming and helpful. Attentive and friendly in the bar with timely service. Food was well prepared and nicely presented. I can recommend the roast beef dinner, ideal portion size to leave room for dessert. Docked one star for not having cask ale or bottled craft beer but that's just a personal preference. Total price for stay was good value, including dinner for 2 and drinks. Will stay again now I have found it. Worth seeking out and although it seems out of the way the road connections make location convenient.

Never disappointed. Service excellent, food excellent. Very good value for money. Been many, many times to different functions.

Food is poor here, but rooms are comfy and have everything you'd need for few nights away. Was here on a work trip, travelling to the local town for training. If you need taxis to get to this hotel, it's best to tell them you need them earlier than you really do because they always arrive late.

We held a function here for a family member in the Gold suit. The facilities and setting was fantastic and the staff were friendly and helpful. A few family members stayed over as guests and they were impressed with the accomodation and breakfast. Overall we were very happy with the Deanwater Hotel.

For the restaurant. An excellent restaurant with a great variety of well cooked & tasty food options. The service is exemplary, the staff friendly and the quiet, understated lounge area is wonderful to relax in before & after the meal.

Went for a wedding reception which was excellent, the staff were very good and the room looked great. Our hotel room was very nice and the breakfast in the morning was nice too.

Lovely setting for a meal, both location and interior decoration. We went out as a group of 13, had a 3 course meal, and were very well catered to. I had the lamb shank and it was delicious! Would definitely recommend a meal here.

The location is very good, situated in an area which is by all measures lovely to visit. The rooms were spacious with decent decor and a suitable bathroom, however, the heating in the rooms was apparently stuck into the on position and the blind for the window was broken and wouldn't move upwards. After a night being boiled alive, I was looking forward to a decent breakfast and it came, slowly, in the form of a full English. The sausages were amazing, the tomatoes less so. Our event was very enjoyable.

Staying for work in Manchester, location easily accessible to airport and city centre avoiding main routes (traffic). Staff can't do enough to help. Food very well priced for the high standard. Rooms are in process of modernising and Wi-Fi can be limited, but ongoing improvement. Free parking, quiet location. Top 5 hotels to stay for business in Manchester. Will stay again.

Attended a friend's wedding at The Deanwater. The grounds and building were very attractive and well tended, the staff were friendly and attentive and the whole day was thoroughly enjoyable.

The Deanwater Hotel was a magnificent venue to host my brother's wedding. Excellent customer service and a faultless execution on the day. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

It's a little dated and is in need of some modernisation but the staff are friendly and there's a nice atmosphere.

Nice hotel, big comfy rooms and a very nice breakfast. Decent beds with lots of pillows and internet and TV included. Bit difficult to get to and a bit confusing to navigate.

Had my birthday here in the gold suit. Had the best time. The food was great, the Gold Suit was comfortable and tasteful, and our stay was more than pleasant. Thank you all.

The staff were extremely helpful and the service provided was exceptional. However the lack of Wi-Fi accessibility in such a remote area was agrivating.

We had our wedding reception here. It is a beautiful venue, the staff are fantastic and the food is excellent. I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Never had a better stay than here. Great food, beautiful location and everything is soooo British.

I find this to be the best 'reasonably priced' hotel in south Manchester. The staff are always pleasant, the rooms are always absolutely spotless, and the rates are very reasonable. The bathrooms are a little dated in their styling, but this is currently being upgraded. I will continue to stay here every time I go to Stockport.
