Just popped in for a quick drink in passing, oh my days this pub is amazing. Staff are so welcoming, great variety of drink & food options.

Stay here for one night over the weekend as was attending an event in Nantwich-what a find!

Excellent menu and attentive staff have never been disappointed with our food or service. The ladies rest room is as comfortable as the one at the Ritz Hotel, Yes Really!

The Swan Inn is a fantastic pub set in a lovely location with superb accommodation I'd highly recommend it.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The accommodation is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail.
It was the perfect stop off for a cycling holiday around Cheshire.

I contacted Ian at The Swan very last minute to try and book a table for 9 for a family pre Christmas get together. Amazingly Ian said no problem we will get you in dog and all… Having never been to The Swan before I arranged for my family to meet us there, we from Southport and they from Newark and Derby so not local! … My only wish was for it to be magical and festive help to start my families Christmas holidays off feeling festive. Well the atmosphere and warm welcome was beyond amazing, from the decorations to the roaring fire, the cozy snugs and romantic tables for two, The Swan had it all. Now a great Gastro pub needs fabulous tasty food and this place certainly does and then some. The service was great, not to much that every time you have a mouthful some one asks you if the food was OK, but attentive enough to notice you needed more drinks or the table had finished and so you weren’t sat with dirty plates for ages!. It was just right. So a very very big thank you to Ian and all of his Staff for making the start of our Christmas perfect.

Very disappointing meal and service on Sunday. The belly pork was served over a tasteless mush in a puddle of unflavoured questionable sauce that has been set on the side for too long and had a skin of my 89 years old grandma. (Mentioning that, her care home had a better roast dinner. ) Once food was served our table of six was completely forgotten until we complained. Not a single waiter came around to check if the food is fine. I wish we could say it was, but the chef obviously run out of salt and seasoning, just like we run out of patience after the patronising refund process. A “generous” 25% discount was offered after 3 half eaten meals and one hardly touched. A long and painful chat ended up with 50% on 2 meals and a full refund on one dish… Never experienced a service like that and find it very unprofessional. It is a shame as place looks nice with great outdoor space, but the quality of food and service killed the experience.

I was looking for a nice country pub not to far away where we could have a lovely meal and unwind just the two of us stay over and we found it. The swan is a lovely quirky little pub loved the decor around the place. The food was wonderful. The rooms were lovely roomy very modern comfy beds very bouncy. Would have given this place 5 stars if they had put a mirror near a plug socket! For doing your hair only thing could find fault. And the breakfast the next morning was wonderful. The staff were lively and friendly great place definitely going bad and would recommend xxx.
