Nice setting. Friendly welcome. The room was basic but adequate. I can't comment on other rooms but ours was clean, comfy and well stocked. Most rooms surround a lawn with table and chairs. There's a little orchard and best of all… DONKEYS!

Access to unoccupied reception area with duplicate keys in open access, we helped ourselves to our duplicate keys without being challenged or questioned. You had to call one of three numbers to get attention, often going to voicemail. Double booked the room for one of our party who were given the duplicate key to a number of rooms to check if anyone was using them, they were all occupied and belonging were in the rooms. We weren't even accompanied by hotel staff. The rooms had no fire safety procedure, broken shower, boarded up bathroom window, no runner on sliding door to bathroom so it had to be lifted across (if you can call 2m x 1m a bathroom), mouldy shower cubicle, outside the surrounding pathways are very uneven with broken flags and very poor lighting. Be very aware of the safety/security concerns above; even if you don't mind a bit of grunginess. Would not recommend!

Massive security issue! Owner was very rude!
Checked in and was given a key for room 1. We went into the room and we noticed it had someone else's belongings in there so we went back to reception. We were given a key for room 2 where we left our personal belongings and our car keys.
Returned to the property around midnight as we had attended a wedding. We entered our room to discover a man was asleep in our bed! He woke up, apologised and gave us our belongings. We headed to reception but nobody was there. We called the out of hours numbers and left several messages, one man answered said he wasn't working tonight but they had been having problems with the booking system. 40 minutes later a lady appeared and gave us a key to room 5. We slept fine, got ready in the morning and went straight to reception to complain. We were greeted by the owner who we explained all this to, she stated that we had probably gone into the wrong room and made out it was our fault. She took no ownership of the problem and didn't even offer an apology. I asked her if she thought the situation regarding our personal belongings in a room with a stranger was acceptable? She simply stated "well nothing happened to them". I would not recommend this so called B&B to anyone… it's not fit for a dog and clearly has major security problems. Room keys are hung up in reception and it isn't locked up… anybody could just pick them up.

Clean and comfortable, self serve breakfast. The shower pressure was very good.

Bed was so old the mattress was bobbled. We slept on our towels so as not to feel it through the sheet. I had to remove a pillow from the bed as it smelt. The place was grubby. It's a B&B but it appears that breakfast is only supplied for one day so the following day it was left overs! A bed in my friends room only had half the base and the mattress was falling through, so I asked for it to be mended — it was changed but the bed wasn't remade. Shame because it could be a lovely place.

Very basic room. And not really a breakfast but few cookies with orange juice and milk in a fridge. Quiet.

Absolute rubbish! I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this car boot. A very unfriendly atmosphere and the pitch fee is a rip off. Never again! I had to tap 1 star but I rate it NO stars!

Great location for the wedding we attended. Relaxed check in and check out with plenty of parking right by the rooms. Easy to find. The rooms are pretty basic, but at £40 a night fur a couple offer great value for a place to stay in the area. Only slight criticism would be the amount/selection if breakfast provided in the fridge. Again not bad for the price of the room necessarily, but we would have brought some food if it was listed in the room description before.

Very clean in a quiet area, I would recommend 100%. Definitely we will return.

Drove past once but didn't stay. Was going to car boot. Had a great time.
