We stayed last night for a family get together and everything was first class, the rooms, the food, the ambience. The owners were very welcoming and we felt totally at home and comfortable. We would highly recommend this venue and would definitely stay there again. John and Linda.

Love this place — stayed many times — friendly, clean — nice size rooms, plenty of tea, coffee etc in room — would definitely recommend to anyone — brilliant breakfast — main evening menu basic but good food — large portions — well worth a visit.

Spent a night here away from the children. Absolutely lovely staff, food was lovely, well kept, the rooms are big and clean. Would recommend and stay again.

Lovely and homely but bar area could do with an upgrade.

We stayed at the Cottage for a couple of nights for my daughter’s wedding at the Oak Tree. Graham and Louise were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them, offering lifts and helping with taxis. The full English breakfast was fabulous and the evening food was excellent with a good choice of home cooked meals. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and immaculately clean, with tea/coffee and treats. We loved the place and hope to go back sometime for another special break.

Room was quite big, internet connection is rather lacklustre. Food was ok, big portions, not that tasty. Note that the kitchen is closed during weekend nights. The room was clean, nothing to complain about, but the location of the establishment is quite remote and there is nothing close by, so if you're lucky as me and end up coming in on a Saturday night and the kitchen is closed, then you'll probably be hungry for the night as no deliveries are around.

This B&B deserves far more recognition than it currently gets. Really nice rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly and warm welcome and very comfortable. The evening entertainment is brill with live music and a good value warm supper. I true hidden gem.
