My son and daughter in law got married here in the old bar. Beautiful venue. Fantastic wedding menu. Great selection of beers. Staff were fantastic and extremely helpfull.

Stayed overnight and had a good evening meal. Room was adequate and clean. Breakfast a bit of a let down. The fresh fruit was not cut up, just a fruit bowl and orange juice didn't appear to be fresh but the cooked breakfast was fine. The pub garden was lovely to sit in and we would definitely stay again overnight.

My youngest daughter Jessika, and the lovely Martin were married at The Plough 2 weeks ago. The venue was beautiful and made even more special by being able to add personal touches. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff couldnt do enough to help. A special thanks to Caroline and Gabby who went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly and to make it a magical day to remember forever.

Always positive. Great food. Good atmosphere. Clean, well cared for. Owners are wonderful front of house guys. Sometimes, young staff's attention could be better to ensure excellent service consistently. Lovely environment.

Very nice little pub. Serves nice food and good ale too. Fantastic for a wedding venue with a really nice beer garden. There is also accommodation attached.

Nice clean rooms. Easy access parking. Good value all round.

Attended a wedding fayre here today. Beautiful venue. Lovely staff. Had subday lunch in the pub also very good.

Stayed here last weekend for a friends wedding. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy and the rooms were tastefully decorated. Unfortunately when we returned to our room water was pouring through the spotlights in the ceiling above the shower. Not only did it make an absolute racket it covered the bathroom floor in water. Due to the late hour we didn’t complain however it in the morning it was still doing it it. The ceiling was yellow and water stained around the light. Obviously an ongoing issue. We didn’t feel comfortable showering (water and electrics don’t mix well) and I complained to the reception. Got a well rehearsed customer service reply of “Its out of our control the person above must have let their bath overflow we’re really sorry”. Got the feeling that they weren’t interested at all which was a shame as everything else was spot on.

Gorgeous room and amazing food. Stayed on the dinner, bed and breakfast deal. Excellent value for money, all the staff were really attentive but not in your face and all of our food was cooked to a very high standard. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place for the food, service and the deluxe room, lovely sized room and the bed was really comfy. Would definitely stay here again. A massive thanks to all the staff on a place well run.

Great pub and motel. Accommodation was clean and of a good size. The bathroom was large with shower over bath with good water pressure. The bed was of a good size, a touch on the soft side, but comfortable. The amenities were everything that could be expected. Ample parking in the pub car park directly in front of the accommodation. Staff were polite and service was great! Breakfast was nice, not too big to leave you uncomfortable and very tasty. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Had lunch here a couple of times and it has been very good there is always a good selection of local real ales etc staff are always nice and helpful and very attentive.

I started drinking in the plough when it was a farm I was 14 we used go and help with the thesing and we went into the kitchen and was paid in beer. Then wen. I was older I went there 5 nights a week for a drink and a game of cards. I have seen 5 different landlords in my time the best one after arther. Galemore who was the farmer. After him Clive winke ‘was the best he made it as it is now.

Enjoyed my overnight stay here, nice room and great breakfast. Excellent value for money.

We have just come back from my son's wedding at the Plough. The staff could not do enough for us. They were excellent! Made it a really special occasion for all concerned. Thank You just doesn't seem adequate xx.

£7.95 for ham egg and chips. Fair enough it was off the snack menu but at that price I expected an actual meal. My plate had 9 chips yes 9! on it, 2 very small thin slices of ham & an egg. It was smaller than a kids portion. A great pub great staff but well over priced where the food is concerned & not value for money on some dishes they serve.

We visited to enquire about a wedding venue. What we found was a lovely little pub with a beautiful oak barn to have the event. We both decided it was the perfect place. We also decided to sample the food there before we left and were not disappointed. The day after we booked our wedding there. Sam.

Beautiful venue and great selection of vegetarian food on the pub menu. Just a little on the pricey side. Gorgeous place to visit, quite area but put had a good atmosphere.

The pub is beautiful. It is well cared-for, and the setting is lovely. Very clean, difficult to do in such an old pub! The service was quick and very well done, unobtrusive. The food was delicious. Downside? We all went home and immediately had a bowl of cereal… the desserts were especially disappointing in size, the two ordered sticky toffee puddings looking like they'd been cut in half! Cheeseboard was old, the grapes were mushy and the cheese even cracked a bit because it had been cut too soon. Vegetables with steak Rossini delicious but barely a mouthful. Verdict? Lovely place, lovely food, just don't go hungry. Ten out of ten to the service!

We had drinks in the bar on a Saturday evening. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, coat and comfortable. A beautiful country pub with the added feature of a barn style room for special occasions.

The barn was a great place to hold an event. Rooms are cheap and good value. Drinks were slightly expensive and hot water in the rooms could have been warmer.

Just alright. The place itself was cosy place to stay and the rooms had a nice country feel and comfortable beds but the staff really weren't great. Tried to ask about local walks and the area and they showed no interest at all. You would expect a place with a nice homely feel to it would have engaging pleasant staff and I think this is what makes a stay anywhere exceptional. Also the rooms were booked online and excluded VAT so got stuck with an extra cost on checkout. Again, okay but needs to try harder really.

My son has just had his wedding reception at this venue and it was excellent, there is a wedding barn attached to the pub, which is a magical place to have your meal, the food was very good, hot and the service was speedy, There is accommodation on site comprising of a mixture of twins, doubles and family rooms, all good size. I would recommend The Plough at Eaton for any party occasion.

Excellent food in an excellent venue, perfect for a relaxing drink or meal.

Stayed here quite a few times now and it just gets better. The rooms are Large, Clean and Quiet so a good night sleep is a cert. The Menu is Superb and quite Diverse and the service is excellent. if your looking to stay in the area the book ahead as rooms are limited to around 20 I think. Price is more than reasonable and if you get up in time don't even hesitate to have Breakfast, its a superb start to the day and all freshly prepared. Happy Lodgings. Brett 5 Stars.
