On arrival we were asked if we'd like an upstairs or downstairs room which was nice rather than just be allocated one. Standard HI Express room but apart from the hanging space room was perfectly fine & we had a fan! Breakfast was very busy so go down well before 8 or after 8.45 when every one seem to go off to work. Ideal location for the showground & there's a Harvester next door but the hotel does have a small 'bar meal' menu. It's not really in Peterborough you'll still have a 3 mile plus drive into the centre but good location for the A1.

Great Room, pub next door and right next to the show ground. Did exactly what we needed.

We spent a very enjoyable night at Holiday Inn Express near Peterborough. The staff were extremely helpful and our disabled room was just right for us. The bed was very comfortable all that was wrong was it was quite hot during the night and as we were on the ground floor we were reluctant to open the window.

Good value for money @ £39pppn over 3 day weekend of Motorhome showground 20-22nd April 2018. Including a good breakfast. Good sized clean and fresh looking room with comfy bed and pillows. Also good sized shower cubicle. No aircon could be a problem for some on a hot summer's day although the room came with a 3 speed portable fan.

Great location, value for money! Good breakfast, great Indian restaurant across the street.

This is a fantastic hotel to stay in. Excellent room, reception staff always great and with breakfast included in your room rate unlike other chains who supply it in a bag at extra cost or expect you to visit the neighbouring pub/bar. I will continue to stay here whenever I'm in town.

Room was perfectly adequate with all necessary amenities. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Cars could be parked very close which meant not having to lug baggage far. As a nice bonus, a small buffet breakfast is included in the price. This wasn't just continental, but also included stuff for a fry up. Would definitely stay here again.

Good service. Very nice room and the staff are great. Food is terrible though and it's in the middle of nowhere. And old people. Old people everywhere…

Comfortable and reasonable value. No hotel ever supplies thin pillows so never get to use one. Person upstairs could be heard walking around so not the quietest. Good breakfast and friendly staff overall pretty good.

Hotel clean and the staff helpful the only gripe is not the hotel but the harvester, food poor. Service only just acceptable and toilets absolutely not.

Lovely hotel at a bargain price. Comfy sofa in the room and a big TV. Touch of road noise at peak hours but didn't hear a peep in the room apart from that. Plenty of choice included in the all you can eat free breakfast. 15 min drive to the city centre and easy access from the A1. Would stay again.

In a good location with plenty of parking space. Pretty quiet, depending on which side of the building are you in. Not sure if its same for all the rooms or just the one that I stayed, no central heating. Only a convector under the desk which takes ages to heat up the room.

Good value for money Comfortable room with everything you need, well soundproofed. Location I recommend it!

Had to stop over due to breaking down on the nearby A14. Staff were friendly and room was a good price even at very short notice. Breakfast was decent for the price. Room was reasonably clean and well equipped. Ample parking and close to the main road.

As expected, clean, cheap and convenient. Good, friendly and professional staff.

While I know those who aren't fans of big chains of hotels, they're an absolute relief when you're driving a long way back and realise, as I did, that attempting to continue would be dangerous to yourself and other road users. I booked the room from the car park outside as I tried to find the energy to move from the driver's seat and get my wheelchair and overnight bag from the boot, and was relieved to find a wheelchair accessible double available. I didn't care beyond that what it would look like. Just that it would have a reasonable bed and a chance for me to get some sleep. I'm sure staff are used to exhausted guests, and I probably looked like a zombie, but the duty manager on reception was charming and helped me get sorted, opening the door to the corridor unasked to help me get through in my chair. You'd think that was obvious, but so few people actually offer that it's lovely when it happens: with my fibromyalgia, I can reach a point of fatigue where speech is incredibly difficult, so asking for things becomes just another struggle. I was very grateful to just reach my room, and was asleep in short order. While this chain's beds don't suit me quite as well as Premier Inn's, it was fine, and the bathroom was also great in the morning, since it was also properly equipped for wheelchair users and allowed me to just sit under a hot shower and get some life back into my carcass. I was first in to breakfast at 6.

The location was fine and easy to get to. The room was really basic and the main reason for the low review was due the the thinness of the walls. I could clearly hear the guest in the next room when they got back from their night out at 2:30am. The laughing and joking wasn't needed to be heard.

Average Hotel. Clean but small room. Unfortunately close to the kitchen drains. Friendly staff. Typical restaurant within walking distance.

A comfortable night with a free breakfast. Free parking, and basic rooms. A good place to stop over, but not a lot to do nearby, so really just a convenient place to stay on your way to or from London.

Far away from city. Good rooms and breakfast. Comfort level is good.

Lovely staff, clean rooms and would do anything for you. Very happy with everything. (2 adults and 2 children)

Away from the main areas close to the show-ground. Adjacent is a Harvester Pub but I found the food to be lacking somewhat. Ground and first floors but no lift available but the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Wi-Fi is excellent for a free service although I'm told the signal s more consistent on the first floor than the ground where I was and suffering a number of drop-outs.

Staff were very friendly and smiley, the hotel appeared to have that new build refurbished smell, which was nice… the beds were amazingly comfortable & soft. Breakfast was ok, except for the lack of choice of cooked food… vegetarian options were available I. E quorn sausages… but a larger choice would be appreciated. I. E. Grilled tomatoes, fried bread, potato latkes.

Had a great overnight stay at the hotel after a weeks camping. Was very welcoming and accomodating. The room was comfortable and the facilities good and clean. The breakfast was very nice with lots on offer from cooked to continental. Would recommend.

Great place to spend the night great breakfast.

Its a holiday Inn. It is by a showground. It really is what you would expect. Low quality food. Cheap. Quiet enough and clean enough. It is what it is.

Friendly staff are ready to greet you any time of day. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, from carrying bags to loaning a plate. Rooms are fully made to your requirements and there are plenty of pillows, towels etc… If your a frequent visitor staff even remember your name. The included breakfast is delicious and surprisingly varied. If you have a particular need, a phone call a few days before arrival would be beneficial. No lifts available. Plenty of car parking.

Brilliant. Great room and dog friendly. Restaurant next door but nothing else around. Hotel didn't have much food and was sold out of a lot. Really liked our stay though big room and very clean. Friendly staff and made for a great weekend.

Room was decent. Water was hot. Breakfast was great and complimentary. Wi-Fi was OK and free. Forgot my toothpaste, holiday inn provided it for free. Would stay again.

We came into a nice clean and well presented hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly service. Felt welcome after a long day at the seminar. I would definitely use it again.

I booked two rooms for a family meet up. Excellent service after very pleasant welcome at Reception. Easy going but attentive staff. Would certainly use this place again.

Good service and good daily cleaning food maybe isnt as good however there happens to be a resturaunt right next door very handy.

Great place, Use it evertime I visit a local office down Peterborough, nice people, clean and above average food for a small hotel.
