My family really enjoyed our Sunday lunch at the Jolly Brewers. The food was exceptional and the service very attentive. Can’t recommend this village pub/restaurant enough!

Thought we'd try it as it's recently been under new management. On entering we asked to see the menu before deciding to stay or not, and this was no problem! We then sat down and were informed there would be a bit of a wait, as a large group had pre-ordered and were due to be served. This was fine. I ordered a starter, which they kindly offered to large up to a main size, which I declined due to my appetite, and my friend ordered a special. Both meals were served attentively by the young girl that served us. The food was delicious and cooked by the husband of the new husband and wife managers. We then shared a delicious treacle sponge and custard pudding, which was wonderfully light! Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff and they were all very attentive and friendly even in the very hot temperature of the eve! Will definitely go again and recommend unreservedly.

What a great pub restaurant. Evening meal was fantastic, great chef, big portion sizes and quality locally sourced food. Accomodation was of an excellent standard, recently refurbished. Perfect distance to enjoy a visit to Cambridge, 5 stars all round.

Absolutely great garden pub in a beautiful Cambridgeshire village. Staff exceptionally welcoming and accomodating. Only a couple of gripes, that the owner looked into without a second thought. Highly recommended if going to the science park or city if a cyclist.

A hidden find. The Brewers is on the original village high street, so is bypassed by all. There is a parking lot out back, and a play castle there too, and most of all, reason to visit is the good food. The guy on the counter might come across as grumpy, but he is just playing with you. Smaller pub, often quiet.

I just love the Jolly Brewers! Nothing is too much trouble and the food and drink are fab!

I stayed 2 nights last week. Very nice and friendly place. Had a superb dinner in the pub one night. Good luck to the new management team who had only been there for a week when I stayed there.

What a great place. I stayed in the chalet accommodation which was clean and well presented. The staff are very helpful and the food good value for the quality. A real surprise for a last minute find. I have already reserved a chalet for my next visit.

Family meal out to celebrate our sons birthday and our daughter coming home from uni. Tasty, filling meal. We all really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return.

Really nice food at a decent price and the staff are friendly as well. It's a cosy little restraunt and the bar is very nice to. A lovely place to sit and chat or eat.

Friendly village pub. The only issue is that the pub is expensive. Other than that, good customer service, good food, good facilities, and a little beer garden by the car park.

I love this pub. Great staff and food. Their triple cooked chips are the best ever.

My friend and I went here for an evening meal. We both had a burger which came with cheese and bacon on a brioche bun. The meal also included coleslaw and leaf salad. I had chips with mine and my friend had fries. Both were delicious, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Only problem being a bit on expensive side but worth it.

Took my brother to the pub today as it caters for diabetics and coeliac disease. The food was great, service was great, pub is lovely. One happy brother who could eat two courses without a problem.

No food on a Monday, though lovely staff and wide variety of drinks and snacks.

Friendly & Clean small. Roo. S. But adequate if staying clue of nights pub good with selection of Real Ales. Food. Good would stay there again if in the area.

Jolly good place for a holiday, nice room, good food and very friendly staff.

It should have been a perfect visit: the pleasant pub is away from noise and traffic, it was a warm summer evening, with a couple lovely dogs lying outside on the grass, and the staff were friendly. My pint was fine, and although the burger looks good (see pics), it was in fact pretty terrible: the burger tasted like it was made with the same cheap low-quality frozen burgers we used to be given at school, and the coleslaw was also not home-made. Anyone who charges £10 for a burger should at least make it fresh: minced beef is not expensive.

Probably my favourite pub garden in British summer time. Decent beer, friendly and perfect for a scorcher.

We stayed there on Saturday, nice pub, nice beer, I only wish the young lady who checked us in, had advised us to book a table for the evening, as when we went over to eat, it was fully booked, the land lady was very sympathetic, and advised us that she would tell all her staff in future to advise residents to book a table, when they book in.

Good selection of beer (including Milton Brewery), and nice atmosphere, with some tables outside. Haven't tried the food but the menu looked interesting.

Perfect location, good beer, great food.

Went in on a Friday lunchtime, hardly anyone there but they were so short staffed they were unwilling to serve us food. Signs up saying the management are due to change shortly so maybe it'll improve.

Beer selection OK, however the Milton Justinian was hazy. Food was fine, but the lamb was overcooked, the gravy tasted like it was from a packet and the cauliflower cheese swimming in grease. The service was good.

Fantastic food and very generous portions, good clean accommodation and very friendly staff, would definitely recommend.

Visited for lunch, food is good and well priced, good choice for a lunchtime menu.

Was doing a cycle round Cambridge, checking out the CAMRA approved pubs. This place has some nice guest ales, well served. Lots of space to sit outside and friendly folk.
