We stayed here while celebrating our Daughters wedding and could not have wished for a better place. Beautiful rooms, quality food and fantastic service, nothing was too much trouble. We would 100% recommend and hope to return to enjoy more time spend in the rooms and this lovely local pub.

We used it for a motorhome stopover. Afrer visiting Duxford museum. Nice pub but we missed out on food as it was Sunday evening. Friendly staff.

Delicious food, great presentation. Very friendly staff. Big car park is handy. Chocolate box building in a beautiful village, well worth repeat visits.

We have spent the weekend at this beautiful pub and stunning accommodation. The room is so beautiful, such a calming place. The pub has the feel of an old hang out but is so beautifully preserved with very friendly staff. The food it top notch and we were made to feel extremely welcome. 5 Star all the way and we cant wait to come back for another visit.

Great food and drinks in a beautiful country pub in a lovely village close to Duxford Aerodrome. Outstanding accommodation and fabulous staff. Can’t praise it enough xx.

Went today for a lovely lunch with a friend. Food was lovely however the bill was not. We had four white wine spritzers and were charged £8.50 per glass for the house wine and an extra £1.40 for the dash of lemonade — so the drinks alone cost as much as the food! A white wine spritzer using house wine should not be £10 per glass it’s ridiculous and has left a bad taste in my mouth. My family live in the village and this has disappointed me as it seems very greedy I have never paid £40 for four house wine spritzers anywhere! It’s bizarre as in the same pub you can buy a full bottle of white wine for £23.00. Your house wine per glass is listed as £5.50, a medium at £7 and a large at £8. Oo so why was our wine content alone £8.50 per glass for a small spritzer…?

The food is excellent as is the ambiance. Great staff and good selection of drinks.

Went for Sunday lunch and enjoyed it so much we went back for dinner on the following Thursday… and it was great again.
Customer service is brilliant and as well as the lovely welcome staff make you feel really special.
We’ll be using The Red Cow even more.

Lovely Sunday lunch, great food and excellent service!

I had a lovely birthday lunch here today. The menu provided good choices for someone on a gluten free diet, even a choice of puddings, other than Ice cream! We were served by a lovely young lady in beautiful surroundings with a real fire burning in the hearth. Dogs welcome in the bar and a barrel is dog beer at the door.

Lovely cosy atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff (just the right level of attentiveness) and delicious food, served with attention to presentation but totally unpretentiously. Brilliant value for money. I recommend this place unreservedly.

Had the most delicious beef roast dinner. The best I've had. Lovely atmosphere, great choice on the menu and fantastic staff. A must to visit for a lovely family dinner x.
