We went for a Sunday roast and I was very impressed. The roast turkey was so succulent, the portion size was perfect and my strawberry and cream pavlova was delicious. Would definitely recommend and willl no doubt be back soon!

The Staff are very welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts and lunch we had there were both excellent — if you are just eating in the restaurant then I would highly recommend. However we stayed for 2 nights and the rooms was very small, it is situated on quite a busy road but what is worst is the incredibly noisy macerator device they have fitted in the bathroom which goes off every time you flush the toilet, or wash your hands or have a shower — it goes off every 8 seconds when showering and sounds like someone drilling in the room. It is deafening — we complained but were told its what they put in with the new upgrading and was needed because it is an old building! I've staying in lots of older pubs and they never had this. Would not stay again and for the price for two nights it was far too expensive for the room with this kind of unacceptable noise. Unless of course you are deaf then it would be ok.

Good menu, generous portions, good service, clean, pleasant, reasonably priced.

Good and tasteful food in a warm and cosy atmosphere. I also can recommend the outsite area in the garden for summer days.

Food is mediocre at best. Don't dare to ask for any menu deviation. Vegetables were raw on our last visit (think they had forgotten to steam them). Staff smiley but uninterested and unable to resolve any issues. We've been here many times and it gets worse every visit. We'd stop visiting but elderly relative likes it cos it's close to home.

Very nice ambience with wood styling that manages to be spacy, comfortable and intimate all at the same time. The staff were grand: both professional and friendly, with a pleasant informality that puts guests right at their ease. They were pleased to meet my dog and brought a bowl of water for her without my even asking, which is an instant extra star in my book. My only regret was that my food (the "pie of the day") was distinctly below the standard of everything else — — most of the meal seemed tasteless, mass-produced and/or slightly odd. That seemed to be an exception: my three companions all seemed to have perfectly fine meals. So I'll give the place another chance next time I'm passing by.

Friendly and attractively decorated village pub, good quality food well presented and a good mix of dishes on the menu. A little pricier than basic pub fair which is reasonable. Only downside is that the loos don't meet the standard of the pub and meal, very dated and need upgrading.

Good place, although the car park is a bit small. Food was rather bland though on what I had, although other people on my table had great tasting food! The sea bass needs just a tad more flavour.

I’m very fussy when it comes to food but I can say we had a great meal there. The service was excellent as well. Highly recomended if you want a nice and quiet place with quality food.

Food and downstairs was great attentive service and a great breakfast in the morning. The rooms let them down a little. They are small and could do with a little updating. Even though they have secondary glazing the road is noisy.

Friendly staff and great food at reasonable prices. I stayed in the B&B. The bed was a small double and a little bit short for a 6 foot tall bloke but other than that, excellent place to stay.

Only had a lunchtime meal here with my family but the service was excellent, food was very good. Of all the pubs in Fulbourn, this one does the best food.

Had a meal with my Nan and my uncle on Wednesday. Felt the food was excellent and very quick service the girl who served us had excellent customer service. We were very happy and would return to the White Hart.

Great service, very friendly, food was really good. A good location if visiting Cambridge but want to stay just outside away from the bustle.

On initial entry to the premises we had a friendly welcome, were shown to a table and given a highchair for our granddaughter. That is where the good hospitality ended. Having ordered 2 main meals and a side of chips (for our granddaughter) the chips were forgotten. Halfway through our meals we had noone visit our table I had to go to the bar and remind them of the chips. The chips arrived once we had nearly finished our meals which we had to share with our granddaughter as she was hungry. By the time they were a safe temperature for her to eat she had fallen asleep so they were wasted. No cutlery, napkin or place mat was offered for her. We sent the chips back with our empty plates and asked for desert menu. 15 minutes later the waitress returned with menus by this point we had been sat for 10 minutes with empty glasses. At this point we said no to the dessert, and decided to leave. During our visit the pub was not busy so there was no excuse for their lapse service. We were charged for the chip even though they were not served at a time for them to be consumed and upon speaking to the manager I explained that I was not happy with our dining experience and the reasons why I was not offered a genuine apology. Further to this although my wife's chicken was tasty the lamb was unseasoned and bland. When visiting their website to place a review I found myself unable to do so presume they only allow positive reviews. Will not be going there again!

Pretty good pub right outside of Cambridge. I've been there for a work lunch and had a lamb shank which was really good! An informal place with nice service and good food.

Nice food but colleague got burnt by the player, staff were really nice and apologetic though.

Awful portions, I ordered the pie of the day and it was all pastry and hardly any filling (try The Alma for a nick thick pie, home made and cheaper) ordered ice cream with my pudding and the portion was also too small as it was a spoon full. Will not be going here again.

Great food, very relaxed atmospheres, friendly staff. Set menus are good value for money. Only thing I would change is the table/chair arrangement, seats really low for the tables.

Food was okay, not great but okay. They brought over normal chips instead of the ordered sweet potato fries. When told about their mistake, the waitress said "well eat them while you wait because they will just get thrown away". We thought this was nice, but at the end she tried to add 2 portions of chips on which was very unfair. When we explained she huffed and puffed and finally took them off. Last time I eat there, and I am Fulbourn local!

After a long drive returning home from our holiday my wife, son and I thought we’d stop at the White Hart for a drink. We have lived in Fulbourn for approximately 4 months now and had been meaning to pay a visit to our local for some time. We arrived at 3:55, asked for a drink for our son which the barman promptly got and opened. For some strange reason he was then told that the pub would be closing, by who I can only presume was a manager. We were then told that we could not be served. When I questioned this I was told that because of the lack of customers the White Hart would be closing at 4 pm. The sign outside clearly stated that the opening hours for Sunday end at 5 pm and believe it or not my family were there as paying customers! I am saddened that our first visit to the White Hart was a poor experience, especially as it is 2 minutes’ walk from our home. Just plain rude in my opinion.

One of the best food in Cambridge! Reasonably priced (for a gastro-pub), with excellent service. Haven't used the inn yet, though.
