Good food and drinks — due to Covid the bar and restaurant are closed but amply serviced by the conservatory lounge — good experience and room is really nice with executive double room. We reserved a table for afternoon tea. Our experience here was perfect. The table was laid beautifully, the afternoon tea was yummy and service fantastic. The children’s afternoon tea was great for our 5 year old. We will definitely be coming again. Thank you x.

A fantastic morning having breakfast with Santa… food was plentiful and fresh… lots of choice and very yummy! Party poppers, hats, crackers, colouring table cloth… great attention to detail with lots for the children… attentive staff… Santa was lovely and my 5 year old had a fab time. Thank you.

Simply the best hotel in the world, we had our wedding here. The food is outstanding as is the service and atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, the rooms are clean, well equipped and very reasonably priced. We can’t praise The Bull enough — they should train other hotels in how it’s done!

We had our wedding at The Bull, the setting is amazing it was reasonably priced, the food was beautiful with a great choice and the wedding co — ordinater was lovely, she was very helpful and all the staff helping through the wedding were amazing. Well worth going to the wedding show if you are looking for a venue.

Lovely upmarket hotel. The staff are fantastic, when organising an event they go above and beyond to make your event perfect and fun smoothly. Will definitely be using for our next event. The grounds are stunning and so is the building. Clean and tidy and just perfect.

I attended my brother’s wedding at the Bull Hotel, and I have to say I was very impressed! The staff were friendly, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great, the gardens were beautiful, the day went smoothly and a great time was had by all… We will definitely be back!

We had looked at just about every hotel venue in the South of England for our wedding and had narrowed our choice to 2 hotels. We picked The Bull as we felt so confident that Lauren would help us achieve the perfect day and how right we were! Throughout the planning process, Lauren was on hand to answer all our questions however small and silly they may have seemed to her. The day itself could not have gone better — Lauren and her team were fantastic and the few small issues that were encountered were dealt with promptly and without the guests knowing. All of our guests have commented on how great the food was and it was a pleasant surprise that the following morning breakfast was served in our own private room! I added lots of extras to the day which I know would have meant more work for the hotel team such as bag drops to the rooms and a Prosecco corner but all of these requests were happily accepted and completed with ease. We have been told time and time again since the wedding that 'it was the best wedding ever' and a lot of that thanks should go to Lauren and the team at The Bull!

The Bull We arrived wet on a rainy day from a motorbike trip and unannounced.
We were very grateful for a room. A wedding was on and we chose an Executive room away from the wedding. We had a very pleasant evening meal and breakfast.
The room was far from "Executive" and the "Garden View" would have damaged our necks!
We also noticed that some Executive rooms had been refurbished. Ours hadn't and we had not been offered a refurbished room, at the same price.
When checking out, we raised these points and said that while we enjoyed dinner, the bar and breakfast we felt that the room had been misrepresented to us. It wasn't worth the money or the view.
The helpful receptionist called the manager. After a lengthy wait, the deputy general manager arrived. A Christian Tate.
That was when the service went to hell.
I have rarely encountered such an argumentative and obtuse individual. He obviously missed the customer training day on his hotel management course.
Unwilling to actually listen to feedback from his customers he was very happy for us to leave the hotel with thoughts in our heads of never returning and writing a negative review.
So, while writing this I receive the email with a copy of the invoice. This poor excuse for a manager has given us a £20 refund on the room rate and still no apology.
Do we feel any better? No.
Has it saved his negative review? No.
Would we recommend it? No.

I was guest for work, very nice and clean hotel, staff always helpful. Bar and restaurant with great products and impeccable service. There is also a back garden available to guests. Really very recommended.

This is a very good hotel nestled off the motorway about 8 min away. We were there for a conference and overnight stay. There are 2 bars and a restaurant. The food is fresh and the breakfast is absolutely brilliant. The room arrangement is eclectic but after finding the room it was Pleasant and well equipped with standard amenities. The whole team enjoyed the stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They have good free parking so bonus.

We got married 22nd July 2018 and The Bull Hotel could not have been more accommodating. From the first day we looked at the venue we were made to feel welcome, Lauren was amazing throughout the planning process, any question I had was answered, she was always easily contactable. On the big day everything went to plan, all the staff involved were amazing. During the reception there was always someone to speak to or ask a question. The rooms are immaculate and absolutely loved breakfast in our room as newly weds. Even the next day when we were collecting our belongings they staff at The Bull were all so helpful, and congratulatory. We (Never Mind The Bongos) provided the live music for the ‘Long Service’ Awards. The owners/managers of the hotel group, laid on a fantastic evening for their employees. The hotel grounds are stunning and everything about The Bull Hotel is exceptional! The service from all the staff, the food, well maintained gardens, cleanliness. Nothing can be faulted! Would definitely recommend staying and/or dining at this beautiful hotel!

I held my daughter’s Baptism party at The Bull Hotel and it was amazing. Lauren Killick managed the event and she couldn’t have been more attentive and thought of every detail. On the day the staff were excellent and dealt with a contractor I had instructed last minute. FlowerPowerWalls appeared with the flower wall and sweet cart and they were welcomed and assisted to ensure they were erected in time for my guests arrival. Thank you so very much to you all.

We are so, so happy we chose The Bull Hotel for our wedding day. Our friends and family have been absolutely raving about the day ever since! The gardens are beautiful, the food was out of this world and every single member of staff made the day so special and so relaxed for us — nothing too much trouble. Our wedding planner Lauren is an absolute superstar — Lauren you are such a credit to the venue. We never dreamed we'd have someone as helpful as you for any questions we had you were so brilliant and we couldn't be more grateful. Our wedding day was perfect and we're so happy with our gorgeous memories of the day we can't wait to book a weekend at The Bull for our first anniversary!

My star rating is only based using this place as somewhere to have a casual drink and a meeting point. Professional well presented staff. Groomed picturesque gardens. Used a wedding venue. Limited beer choices but do have quality mixers.

Lovely welcoming hotel. We stayed in a executive room (or whatever their equivalent is called). It was very clean, very well furnished and very comfortable. I was here for a wedding reception and the function room was small but very useable for their needs. Morning breakfast was Good. Not exceptional (Nobody really likes 12 fried eggs sat hovering in a slurp of oil on a hot-plate), but service was Good.

I was booked into another hotel — Denham Grove + when I got there they were very dismissive and hadn't got my booking. It was 11.30pm at night and snowing plus I am female and was on my own. I found The Bull and rang to see if they could help. The chap on reception was so, so helpful and I drove over and booked in. NOTHING was a problem. He gave me a good rate which I much appreciated as my nights away ended up costing me double what I had anticipated. The room was clean and so comfy and SO QUIET! Thank you for for such a fantastic unexpected couple of nights. I feel like I have been on holiday! Everyone I came into contact with was so professional and personable. Helen.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient and open to suggestions. The food was good — apart from the fillet of plaice which was mainly bone! Despite the waiter filleting it! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. An enjoyable stay.

Good facilities, professional & friendly staff & great food. Rooms were well maintained & contained & in spite of there being lots of other businesses having meetings it always felt private. I was in room 155 & there was a lot of nouse from the rooms next door. Otherwise stay was great.

I loved my room (#145), spacious and impeccably clean. Breakfast was a delight with many choices available. Front desk and waitstaff were courteous and happy to answer questions. Very close to the town center, easy to travel to LHR and to London. Dinner in the bar area was great as well. Modern amenities married with old-world charm. Will definitely return in the future.

From Start to finish, organising our wedding was made so easy, due to the professional of Lauren and all her team. Nothing was too much trouble and they all worked so hard to make sure our day went like clockwork. All our guests have said what a wonderful time they had and what a beautiful venue it was. The wedding suite was stunning and all the guests rooms were also wonderful. Thank you to Lauren, Darren and Hannah for everything you did before during and after the day.

Everything fine except I mentioned my hairdryer was not working and nothing happened til I reported it again following day Restaurant in evening was quite disappointing and down market. Little choice of fine foods and empty for a Saturday night hence no atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent. .

I love this place. Everyone is so welcoming. Always a smile and a word from all the staff. Food was very well cooked. Steak melted in your mouth. Service excellent. Breakfast well cooked and wide variety. Rooms clean and beds comfy.

Went with 2 friends for a tasting meal. The food was first class, I had soup and pork belly followed by a lemon tart with raspberry sorbet. The other option was pate (which looked amazing), chicken breast with sticky toffee pudding. Nothing could be faulted. Service was attentive without being overwhelming. Recommend highly.

Stayed for one night and it was very comfortable. Parking was easy and check in was quick and efficient. The room was a good size and comfortable. The bar had a good selection and the service was good. Breakfast was a buffet but you could pay £5 extra for some other dishes if you so wished — to be honest, the standard of the buffet was so good I'm not sure you would need to. Check out was as efficient as check in. We will be booking a stay at another of their hotels on the strength of this visit.

If Gerrards Cross is where you need to be, The Bull is a great choice. The room was comfortable (we were in one of the newer parts of the property) and the breakfasts were excellent. Service throughout was very good and there was plentiful parking. We dined in the hotel — very good food, great service.

It's a quite hotel but it's really boring. Nothing exciting there like swimming pool or gym. The room was nice and also the bed as well. But any things you said every one who walk out can hear it. So there is less privacy on it. The sink at the bathroom wasn't useful cause there's now mixer between the hot & Cold water. The staff are very nice and there were the only things which made me patient. By the way the Meals were very expansive.

Great experience from start to finish. Everything very efficient but still very amiable, you make it all look very easy. All staff very courteous, we were looked after very well during our short stay. Our room was sumptuous, great comfortable bed, good room layout and very nice ensuite with all toiletries and facilities. A big added bonus after a late night Saturday check in was that breakfast was served until 10.30, and a very good breakfast it was! Looking forward to staying with you again.

We were attending a party in the Thames Suite and had booked a room in advance to stay the night over. We were offered a superior room at a generous discount to the normal price. Excellent service throughout, lovely hotel, great room, super breakfast. Even the slight crisis of having forgotten to bring cufflinks was quickly resolved by reception who had a stock of them for sale! All in all, very happy!

Lovely venue. Very good food. Wonderful service from exceptionally attentive staff. Fabulous Jazz Band and all at an the most reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

We went for afternoon tea at the Bull Hotel which we won in a raffle at work. The setting is fab and very relaxed. The food itself was lovely and definitely filled us both up! A selection of sandwiches, scones and small cakes finished off with a lovely cup of tea. We had such a nice experience and will definitely return for a full meal.

We were welcomed by the lovely reception staff, even though we were really early, did their utmost to see that our room was ready for us. Very comfortable bedroom and food was wonderful. We came for a friends wedding and the whole experience was magical. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

The rooms were clean and comfortable — fresh towels were left on the second day and room cleaned. Reception were very professional and helpful. We ate in the restaurant Thursday 7/9/17 and the food was delicious and hot, and the staff were commendable — extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast both mornings were also very tasty and hot. Overall an excellent few days away!

Not on a single occasion were we disappointed with our dealings with your staff. They were friendly, efficient and highly presentable in appearance. Our room was well furnished with excellent beds and spotlessly clean. We were highly pleased with the quality and variety of meals on offer. To stay at this hotel is an exceptional pleasure, we would recommend it to anyone.

Had a great 4 night stay here recently. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfasts excellent with a very good choice of food. Dinner was also good although there could have been more choice of vegetables. Would we stay here again? Most definitely. I would recommend this hotel without reservation.

4 nights with coach party. Rooms large, clean and comfortable. Staff helpful. Food plentiful and adequate. Bar prices comparable to London. A good stay. You need a good sense of direction to go between bedrooms and public rooms.

Got stuck in London with a cancelled flight on my birthday. Found the last room at the Bull Hotel. From sending a taxi to pick us up at the airport, which was massed with stranded passengers with long waits for taxis, to making sure my birthday was special, I cannot say enough about the customer service. The staff, all of them, were over the top helpful and accommodating. The room was spotless and beautiful. The grounds were just lovely and relaxing. One of the best experiences we have ever had anywhere. I would highly recommend staying there if you have the chance.

I just have been at the hotel on a conference and not an overnight guest. It has great conference rooms. Free parking and good kitchen restaurant. It is a bit too posh for my taste tough.

Cannot fault The Bull in any way shape or form. Excellent rooms, excellent food and reasonably priced drinks from the bar (considering it's a 4* hotel). I'm using The Bull as my wedding reception venue in September and Lauren has been brilliant in catering to our every needs also!

We played here for a wedding in November and the venue is fantastic! The staff were very helpful and professional and the function room was a perfect size for an evening party!

I was here for my brother's wedding. It was a great venue with the courtyard garden in the middle of the building. The staff were helpful and friendly. A great place to host a party or wedding. I would highly recommend it.

Huge bed, very comfy. Slept perfectly.

Reviewing the bar only, which has a nice inside room and a grande terrace overlooking river and bridge. Wine-heavy menu, with only one ale, but it was a well-kept local brew. The other option nearby for an outdoor drink in the sunshine is just over the river in Eton at the George Inn.

Booked this hotel for friends twice. The most recent renovate rooms are very good, but if you get an old room they are very tired and dusty (carpets, curtains). Always make sure you reserve a renovated room.

I found the bar to charmless his employee — customer service seemed uppermost in their minds be. She made no attempt to control the language of one of several Neanderthal who frequented the place of the night, I visited also. Cash prices on the high side and the food was no better than the average.
