Lovely place, rooms are lovely. Not far from Windsor and the staff are very helpful. There is a gym, spa, pool and sauna. Had a nice break.

I was unfortunate to dine here at my daughters wedding 17/10/2020. I was served turkey as a main course but whilst the meat was plentiful — 5 thick slices — the quality was dreadful — terribly tough and tasteless, further the vegetables were undercooked — I was ill for 3 days. As a 2 rosette AA holder they really need to up their game.

Had a fabulous stay 5/8/2020 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was a lovely. The staff on reception and within the hotel/restaurant/tea room were all outstanding and couldn’t do enough for us.
Excellent experience of the Laura Ashley tea room and fabulous food and service in the restaurant.
This was our 3rd visit and would definitely return again.

I visited Burnham Beeches for a afternoon tea with 24 ladies in the Laura Ashley room. For a friends special birthday, stunning setting it was all laid out so nicely. Food was lush, staff were attentive, a lovely afternoon all in all. Well done.

Been here a few times before for afternoon tea and has been good. Decided to try their picnic afternoon tea for a joint birthday that had been advertised on the observer and recommended by someone.
Firstly it took 5 phone calls to find out about it and book as no one seemed to know anything about it. Left my number on 2 occasions to be called back, received no call.
On arrival we were seated and they very kindly moved a table for us to provide some additional shade, however once the tea and food arrived we were pretty much left to it. We had to ask several times for cuttelry and napkins, then again for additional tea. It was busy inside and just think we'd been forgotten about being outside. Things did improve once the we'd spoken to the GM, and the waiter who then looked after us was very attentive. Just a shame this didn't happen from the start. Also explained this was a joint birthday celebration so did expect a small special something like we usually get at other venues, but no acknowledgement.

We just afternoon tea here, it was ok… gluten free option was good but very strange when given a piece of chocolate cake first of all, before tea or bubbles. My daughter liked it but we were missing the veggie sticks and very limited on the fruit. Overall it was ok nothing too special.

Had a great stay. The spa and pool is amazing. Nice and clean.

Came up for a Champagne Afternoon Tea, this was on offer with Bookatable at only £27:50 per person, such great value for money. Our server was Nuno who was so helpful and attentive, thank you for making our daughter’s birthday so memorable We all had a lovely time.

My husband booked a night for my birthday, it was a great double room in the old building with a free standing bath, which was something else, afternoon tea and dinner was lovely, with helpful attentive staff, had a massage which needs to be pre-booked, at a reasonable price, the only problem was breakfast wasn’t as hot as you would like, but was soon rectified. Would go again!

Burnham beeches hotel. 4 star it is not! The room we were given was hideous. Brown, depressing. The family room! You think that would be a lovely room happy and bright. It was dated and the furnishings chosen by a blind man. The cot in This room was old and stained. (wishing I was at home in my lovely bedroom) We then waited 25 mins for another room that was actually worse than the first room. I got upset as this was our first getaway with our 7 month old baby. When you go to a 4 star hotel you expect 4 star not 2 star on the room. The Manager arrived and he saw how upset I was so he gave us another room. This first floor room Was like being in a totally different hotel. Even the hallway to the room was a million times nicer. We were given a brand new cot. Happy for now but drained. The bathroom had no hair conditioner but it did have shoe polish! (Hilarious) no air con in room just a portable fan that had seen better days. The towels were not soft enough. The breakfast wasn’t great. Undercooked bacon, undercooked toast (hot bread)! When I asked for actual toast I was then given the little toast rack back with 3 little triangles of toast as we had eaten the 2 other bits before I complained. (very tight) the table service in the restaurant was poor and my coffee pot was only half filled and tepid.

We got married at Burnham Beeches Hotel recently on the 12/8/18. Our wedding coordinator Sarah was very helpful when we met with her throughout our planning. The staff were helpful on the day helping us get decorations set up. The ceremony room was beautiful. The wedding breakfast was great. We had a lot of compliments about how good the food was from our guests! Especially the desserts! The Florist and DJ we used were recommended to us by the coordinator. They were also great. The flowers were gorgeous and the DJ got everyone dancing. We are so glad we chose this venue for our big day! Thanks so much! Julia and Chris X.

Just not impressed. Now wow factor. Food & drink over priced, even for a hotel and service standards low. Room is ok. Bed comfortable but shower has seen better days. Gym is basic but ok. Pool very small.

Had our wedding here in May and it was truly beautiful! However afterwards the customer service has been so terrible for all the money we spent! We had a bar tab set up that seemed to disappear very quickly, yet afterwards all my guests said how they were paying for their drinks. The drinks that were on there were cocktails which we told staff specifically were not to be included. So where did it go? Drinks for after the ceremony were not left out and were taken away. We never saw the rest of the wine from the sit down meal. Really seems like they try to reduce how much alcohol is used, even though we paid for it! Sarah the wedding co-ordinator was brilliant throughout and the whole day was really lovely but would not rate the service one bit!

Hotel very tired. TV dates from about 2003. Room boiling hot due to no air con. Now let's get to breakfast. When you stay in a hotel like this, you are seated for breakfast so they can check it's pre paid. I waited 10 minutes for someone at the entrance. In the end I walked up to the buffet and got food anyway. Bacon was cold. Sausages not much better. Scrambled eggs very runny. At no point was I offered tea/coffee or toast etc. And the two wait staff seemed most disinterested in doing their jobs.

Came for a wedding a few weeks back. Lovely hotel, beautiful greats, really helpful and attentive staff. Only issue I had was the chandelier in the ceremony room is right next to the air conditioning, this caused the crystals to hit each other and make an extremely distracting noise throughout the ceremony and speeches. I can only imagine how distracting this would be during a meeting in this room. Seems like an easy fix to attach a wooden barrier on the ceiling, diverting the airflow away from the chandelier, but keeping the room cool still.

Nice place. Loved the garden and the food was nice as well. Good for it's price. I have not spend the night there so cannot rate the rooms.

2nd visit here for Afternoon Tea, and unfortunately it was a bit of a let down. We visited with a Groupon voucher, which was ideal because it certainly did not warrant full price. While the sandwiches were ok (you can't really go wrong with those), the scones were a little hard and the selection of cakes were far too stodgy — no delicate offerings with fruit, to cleanse the palate. Staff were inattentive, we waited ages to be topped up with tea and we had to walk around to find someone to give our voucher too. Took the edge off of our friend's birthday treat.

Nothing worse than being served by people who stink of cannabis and taking drugs at work. Won't be coming back. Clearly this hotel is ran by drug users at management level, it's an incredibly clearly noticeable smell that you can't miss. I have contacted HSE hopefully they will administer drugs tests all the way to management down.

Based on using a Conference room for a two day workshop. As a attendee, the room was good, plenty of parking, great access to the outside and areas to lounge. One thing is the lack of clear toilet signs. And it being out of the way.

Good food but a bit pricey, atleast they count three, 2 course meals as two 3 course meals.

Bed was quite small in length, No air-conditioning in rooms. But staff are really good and can't do enough to help. Would stay again if no option but prefer Bracknell Hilton.

Upon checking in the staff were both very professional and super friendly, it felt they wanted to be there. My 1st room was too small to stay more than one night, but without any fuss or problems the girls on reception changed my room and even asked if they could help to change rooms… this was no problem. The guys in the bar and restaurant again professional and friendly, and the food was excellent. Did not get the opportunity to try the spa, next time maybe. Thanks all the staff for making me feel welcome.

Lovely Hotel, great countryside. Fabulous food perfectly cooked. Very friendly and helpful staff, in reception, in the restaurant, and housekeeping. Would give 5 stars but for two niggles. The shower flooded the bathroom every time it was used, and the lockers in the Lessure Center did not work.

I booked an afternoon tea for my mother's birthday (who is elderly & has some limitations), the actual booking was fine it was when we got to the place. First the 2 disabled parking spaces were blocked by barriers, then as I had said my mother cannot walk far they told me on phone 'that's fine we'll put you in The Georgian room ' so naturally I thought, 'thank you ' & it sounded nice but when we got there turns out it's just a thoroughfare room where people just meet up or something as we were the only people (3) having food. There was no atmosphere, no social feeling to it at all I felt as if we'd just been put out of the way. We first had drinks, which were fine after a while waiting, then came the food on the typical tied plates, very plain white plates, well although the sandwiches were presented quite nicely there were just a little bit thick. The cakes, extremely plain nothing exciting at all & 2 scones each which I thought was too much, scones! unfortunately rock hard my mother could bearly cut into it. We should have complained I know but as it was supposed to be a nice treat for my mother my brother said no & we just took what was left & paid the exact amount on bill & left, needless to say I won't be going there for afternoon tea again.

Being to the Roll, fit & beauty spa at Burnham beeches hotel, I had a very relaxing Swedish massage, that was great experience. I was little bit late but Emma was really good, did the complete massaging for hour an hour. I’ll recommend to anyone.

I like the pool and the hot tub. Not impressed that the sauna wasn't switched on and in the evening, the temperature was excessively high. Would rate 5 stars if these problems were not present. This is a good place with public lift and gym (but the lift does not go into the gym and pool)

Way too hot! We had to run the aircon in the room in December with the radiators off to keep the temperature manageable. Staff were friendly and Christmas dinner was tasty and generous. Our twin room was a double with an extra single, with the radiator as the headboard which seemed less than ideal.

Lovely, We have been here quite a few times now, Staff are very attentive and accommodating, Joules and his team cannot do enough for you. The food is amazing. We can’t wait to go again we had a superb stay, Thank you.

Venue is ok. Convenient for me and bedroom large enough to be comfortable with good Wi-Fi. But food… eat somewhere else. Day 1 took 40 minutes before anyone came to my table. Then asking what I wanted but hadn't provided a menu… belly pork in Asian sauce ordered but what came was a belly pork strip cut in to small pieces on a bowl of noodles flooded in soy sauce. And 2 pak Choi leaves. Day 2 was no better half a flavourless chicken, part cooked chunky chips and a bowl of oily lettuce… waiter dropped the plate off then ran before checking whether I needed anything, like flavour, or in my case mayonnaise. Manager also very quick to get me to sign to room with no real option to order more drinks. I wasn't on my own. Day 1 table next to me had same issues over how slow the food was. Day 2. A steak and ale pie was 95% mushrooms which wasn't in the description…

Came for afternoon tea. Food and decor were beautiful but feel the staff could have been a little more present. When it came time to leave no one could be found.

Beautiful surroundings. I must admit, the pictures on the Web were typically more flattering than viewing the hotel in person. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean. The interior of the hotel was nice and the bar and breakfast areas were very cosy. All in all, was a very pleasant stay and breakfast was tasty albeit a little over priced. Plenty of land to go for a stroll on. Definitely gives off a nice countryside hotel atmosphere.

Absolutely beautiful hotel set in the country side, friendly and efficient staff. The room we had was lovely and spacious. Being a 4 star it is a bit pricy but what a place.

The hotel is tired, unclean and needs renovation! Lovely grounds. Some very rude front of house staff however found a couple or friendly staff. Could tell the hotel was understaffed at breakfast time due to slow and forgetful service. Breakfast is not amazing with no vegetarian alternative. The food ran out 45 minutes into service and wasn't replenished. Im my opinion this hotel is not worthy of the 4 Star crown it boasts. Maybe it was a few years ago, but the standards have definitely not been maintained.

Wonderful staff. Very accommodating. Rooms were a great size and the AC was a godsend.

Stayed here for 4 nights for work. The double room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There were a couple of minor maintenance tasks that were dealt with on the second day, before I reported them. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant stay.

As many have mentioned. Room was ridiculously hot, to the extent I barely slept on first night. Tried to open window in bathroom. Save to say no one else has tried that for 100 plus Years or at least looked at that window sill to clean it. Disappointingly the receptionist didn't want to discuss my issues on checkout and fobbed me off. The redeeming feature is the wonderful pool, hot tub and gym.

We booked the residential Christmas package for our family and were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, staff were very helpful and rooms were beautifully decorated. Unfortunately the hotel was very hot and we all slept quite poorly on the first night, especially because there was a loud buzzing outside our window but the staff were very appologetic and changed our room (upgraded) so that we got a much better night's sleep on the second night. The facilities were lovely, and we particularly enjoyed using the swimming pool and jacuzzi which were very quiet every time we visited. We were an all adult party and were particularly impressed with how they separated the children from the adults. Although there were clearly a lot of children around and having fun they were very self contatined in their own areas and didn't bother us at all! Thank you to the staff who worked hard over the Christmas period. I would definitely recommend a Christmas here!

Great for families less so for couples wanted to get away
Me and my husband went for a relaxing weekend and it was a bit of a mixed bag. Reception was welcoming, the room was fine, spacious, clean and presentable. Emma in the spa was excellent we really enjoyed our treatments. In the restaurant the quality of the food was very good.
However, the service in the restaurant both at dinner and breakfast was poor. At dinner, every other table appeared to be attended too except us and the table next to us. We were not offered any bread or asked if we wanted more drinks. We had to get up and go and find someone to request what we wanted whereas other tables were offered and appeared to be looked after. At breakfast it was a buffet which was fine (good selection) and waiter service for tea/ coffee and toast. We waited quite awhile to order our tea and the toast arrived as we were just finishing our cooked breakfast and it was cold. We love children, but everywhere we turned (except the Resturant at night) there was screaming children. We were woken at 6am by a very unhappy child a few rooms away which we did not expect. Don't get me wrong they appeared to having a great time in the pool, running through the Resturant at breakfast etc which is lovely for s family but we were hoping for something a little more relaxing when booking an overnight spa break.

Nice venue, although admittedly quite hard to find. Perfect for a wedding (the reason we were visiting). Would definitely come there again if invited.

Very expensive. Does not deliver on what is expected by the price you're paying. The hotel is very hot, the rooms are very hot, and you have to have a/c always on, which is noisy. The swimming pool is very small and the spa is just normal. The room didn't even had drinking water available. Overall is outdated, could use a redesign, as well as a deep cleaning throughout the Hotel. On a 4* hotel you expect a lot more and a lot better. The restaurante however, is fantastic. The food is great. The only reason to go back is the food. Really really good. Staff is friendly.

Small beds. Small rooms that are red hot. It's OK but not realy worth the money.

Rooms were very nice though a little small. Had a good nights sleep, and started the morning with a tasty fry-up. Perfect location in the autumn, and very convenient after my brother's wedding at the Tudor Barn nearby. Staff were friendly and had a great overall stay. Would recommend.

Stayed at the Hotel for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We chose the Hotel for its oldie world charm and character which it had in abundance. Beautiful Rooms throughout which made you feel so relaxed and comfortable. All of the staff were absolutely wonderful throughout the 4 days. They really made you feel welcome, going the extra mile to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The Restaurant Staff were so keen and attentive which just enhanced the superb food which was presented by the talented Chef. Before arriving we were just hoping for a pleasant few days, on leaving we were thinking just how lucky we had been to choose such a Wonderful Hotel where Service and Commitment from the friendly staff made our Special Anniversary PERFECT.

After having difficulty finding the hotel we spent an enjoyable evening and night in this superb hotel. Dinner was super. The wine sommelier was a hoot! (that's a positive thing! ) nice swim to start the day. The suite offered everything we need. Love the mirror cube tables in the lounge area. Looking forward to breakfast.

Great value for money. The building is an elderly mansion, I suppose looking a bit dark and daunting in the pictures, but once inside the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. The rooms were large and comfortable, the spa was smallish but impeccably clean and looked-after. We booked an evening meal and breakfast with our stay and would recommend this. The evening meal was really first class, quite excellent and much better than many upmarket restaurants we have been to. The breakfast was a buffet and more than adequate. We have stayed in spa hotels twice the price and not had such a nice stay. We would recommend to friends and will be returning ourselves.
