Had a lovely meal on Saturday, in fact the best moussaka I've had for years! Was absolutely delicious, only problem was I was to full for pudding!

Had a lovely dinner at Hunters Lodge last night, small error made with our booking but the owner totally made up for it. Food was lovely and staff were great. Will definitely be back!

We had a family Christmas party there on Saturday. The age range was 11 months to 90 years and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The food was really good and the staff were exceptional and helped to make it a lovely relaxed afternoon.

We enjoyed a delicious meal (I highly recommend the lasagna 😋) as a family. The service was very good and the menu offered a variety of meals.

I came today with my dad and two young daughters and had the Sunday roast and it was delicious.
I had never been before but would highly recommend.
Lots of staff members around and they were all friendly.
Good was very good and great portion sizes too.

Great steak pie, excellent chips. Never had a bad meal or poor service there. Highly recommend.

Loved our one night stay at The Old Hunters Lodge. Beautiful building and setting. Lovely and friendly staff.
The hotel made us aware of a wedding which they were holding which made the night a bit noisy. But it's good to see people back having fun and things getting back to normal. Not to mention businesses, who have struggled over the past year, getting the custom they deserve.
The two owners were very attentive and friendly and made our stay extra enjoyable.
Breakfast included in our rate and was top quality.
We had evening meal and drinks which were also very good.
We will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

Started well, very attentive, once main course was served, no staff seen for 30 mins went to the bar and asked for the bill. Missed dessert and coffee Disappointed as we went on a recommendation.

Absolutely recommend this lovely pub. The food has always be delicious, generous portions, lovely inside and out. Beautiful gardens. All the staff look after you well. Very clean well laid out and Covid safe conscious. 👏👏👏

What a fantastic pub/ restaurant! The food was delicious and has been every time we’ve been. The owners were both super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Fingers crossed.

Been to Old Hunters Lodge a few times since the new owners/managers have taken over. Cannot recommend this place enough, John has done a fantastic job to ensure top notch service whether you’re eating in or just having a drink.

Friendly and welcoming owners. Lovely rustic pub, excellent food. Beautiful rooms, lacks tea coffee in room but was accommodated. Excellent breakfast. Lodge is stones throw from Whipsnade zoo.

Another quality meal and great value for money, John and his team make you very welcome and nothing is to much trouble, highly recommend, give this place a try.

Second time and old hunters and I can’t recommend it enough the staff and food unbelievable. Fillet steak is the one well done to the landlord and landlady and kitchen staff! If you nearby or passing or even looking to book ahead John and Lou will make your dining experience personal to you.

Why leave a negative feedback then I hear you ask.
Well, they do not have a disabled toilet. What they call a disabled toilet is actual a baby changing room. Which is not accessible by someone in a wheelchair.
I'd like to remind the owner (Not the manager who is great) of the The Equality Act 2010.
