The Cliff Hotel is excellent. You feel relaxed the moment you enter the entrance. The viee is of course part of the furniture here and takes centre stage. You could be anywhere! The service is great. Food exceptional, using fresh ingredients and innovative but uncomplicated combinations. It's really very good!

Nice place lovely food bit steep on price but that's the menu style. Nice room but check in is too late and out is too early. Probably wouldn't stay again due to the in at 3 out 10.30. Stunning views from restaurant side. However our room was dark with a window onto tiny high walled courtyard facing the cleaning item room. That really was disappointing especially as it was our anniversary treat Staff friendly helpful. Especially the very strong accented Welsh chap breakfast time he was brilliant.

Each visit just gets better. The staff are lovely. The hotel improves every year. The food is excellent. The golf is challenging but relaxed. The spar is refreshing with salt water pool and hot beds. The rooms are clean and comfortable fully equipped with fridge and modern refeshments. Spar. Golf. Good food. Lovely rooms and friendly staff. What more could you want?

Booked a mini spa and lunch with a couple of friends. Excellent massage and facial. Access to steam room. Sauna. Small pool and Jacuzzi. Most enjoyable and access for 2 hours… but didn't need that long. Hour was plenty. Only criticism was packed, hot, cramped, sticky changing facilities. Many people trying to get changed for lunch.

My husband and l plus two friends really enjoyed our stay the hotel was clean, comfortable and the views are just stunning we stayed last week the hotel had very friendly local staff which was lovely. In the restaurant the staff were really friendly and very good especially Lynda, Pam and cities they went the extra mile a big thank you. You made our holiday. We would only recommend you change the £25-00 menu more often as it doesn’t have enough to choose from in the date in which it runs! But the food is excellent and presented so well. We will be back one day. Well done to everyone who works there.

A lovely hotel with excellent amenities. Friendly and efficient staff. Good choice of food. Wonderful sea views from restaurant and many of the rooms. Dog friendly rooms available. I would certainly visit again and highly recommend it.

The Cliff Hotel is in an amazing location. The clue is in the name. It's a very modern hotel. Spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly and eager to please. Food is really good here with plenty of choice on the menus. Rooms are bright, clean and comfortable and some obviously have amazing sea views. Fancy a bit of relaxation then the Spa is a must.

We stayed in room 110 and wow what a room. The best I have ever stayed in Wales. It really is out of this world, the space, decor and view amazing! Having a very large private balcony and hot tub overlooking the sea just made it extra special. We had evening meal in the resturant, this was lovely again over looking the sunset. I asked to move table for a better view and the waiter was very helpful and moved us. Breakfast was really good, again we had a lovely table with a view of the sea, tea and coffee at the table, a good selection of hot and cold breakfast, the toast machine was quick and made nice toast. The spa was lovely we arrived for 3pm check in so we could make the most of it as I had read that it cannot be used on day you check out which was a shame. 10.30 check out is early for an expensive suite, but I was able to pay a small fee extra to keep the room until 12 so we could go back in the hot tub before we left. Overall our stay was perfect and just the special treat I wanted for my boyfriend's birthday. We will definately be back.

My partner decided to take me here for a night away from our currently hectic schedule. We were not disappointed at all; there was also a function on and the 2nd bar called the Island bar was not available but this did not interfere with the relaxed atmosphere in the main bar/restaurant. The staff were all very polite, helpful and friendly. The food in the evening was exceptional as was the service. It was unfortunate that the person in Room 32 fell asleep with their television on very loud. A call to the night porter sorted that out at 4.30 so again good service. Breakfast was also high standard and everything was hot unlike most hotels we have stayed at. Only recommendations for any changes would be to set all televisions so that they shutdown when not used. Supply plumb tomatoes with breakfast and not half chopped fried as just not the same. Oh and some black pudding would not go a miss. If you want a chilled out time this is the place to stay. If I could give this hotel 10 stars out of 5 I would. The room was out of this world it's got a new Contemporary theme. The views are picturesque which complements the room. The hot tub was a great add on! Room service was brilliant. What a great place to come and relax. If you haven't guessed I am well impressed with this hotel.

Great views great service. Excellent rooms which are very modern and have that 5 star feel. Good food and spa. Couldn't ask. For. Anything more. Cant wait to go back.

Had a lovely afternoon in the Spa and a very nice evening meal and breakfast. The staff were very friendly. Our executive room was very clean and comfortable. We would certainly return.

I stayed here as a 2 night stay over Valentine's day with my partner, we both had an amazing experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left and every little moment in between. The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. No words can do The Cliff Hotel and Spa justice. Me and my partner are already talking about when we can stay there again. We highly, highly recommend a stay.

I regularly book meetings and recently a conference at the Cliff hotel. The staff are fantastic, food is great, rooms are outstanding and nothing is too much trouble for them all. Robin/Laura and Keith are amazing. Highly recommend this beautifully located hotel.

Cliff Hotel for a relaxing night away, dinner in the hotel was very tasty and the staff were very nice, providing a good service. Cocktails at the bar put the finishing touches to a great evening. The spa is great as long as its not to busy. Breakfast at the Cliff is good, with a varied selection to cater for all. Really enjoyed the stay with great friends.

I went with my boyfriend for his 21st birthday, his dad had kindly paid for us to spend two nights in one of the more luxurious suites with a balcony looking on to the sea. The view was absolutely stunning and the bathroom was gorgeous with a wet room shower and a massive bath that was heavenly! Staff were lovely as we know from previous visits but were extra helpful as I wanted to surprise him so I had a bottle of prosseco brought up to the room and a cake brought to us when we came downstairs, he had no idea and everything was perfect! We came previously in the summer for my birthday and Ryan's is in the winter and even though we prefer coming in the summer it was still lovely in both seasons, we will be returning!

Had lunch here with my mum and it was a lovely experience, staff were very helpful, attentive and nice, view is BEAUTIFUL and the food you just could not say a flaw it was delicious. Not my first time here but also not my last. Decent prices, great friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, great food beautiful view what could be better… I highly recommend.

Beautiful location. Carvery always top notch, had Christmas lunch here, and the service was excellent. Cannot fault it.

Went for a Welsh afternoon tea. On the whole it was good but the jam was awful. More like a blob of tasteless goo. The welsh cakes were awful, very cold, undercooked and dry. We took them home to warm them up. A slight improvement only. Car park very poor, needs properly surfacing. Horrid plastic plants outside. The views are amazing but I think you are using that as an excuse for average food. Wouldn't like to have visited before the re-furb.

I attended the Weaving wedding here a month ago and was incredibly impressed. The venue and the view are great, but it was the staff who were truly exceptional. The service was second-to-none throughout the day.

Really lovely night, attentive staff, clean room, spa was delightful, very personable and polite reception. 5 stars are for my experience there and happily stay again.

Staying here with a coach group. Great place to stay on the shores of Cardigan Bay and food so far most enjoyable. All staff really friendly, smiley and helpful.

Lovely hotel, although the front entrance, restaurant and bar areas do lead you into thinking the bedrooms are going to be of similar spec but unfortunately they are not. The bedroom was clean but a bit dated and tired so could do with an uplift but in all honesty this hasn't stopped me booking again for next year. Good was outstanding at the restaurant.

Just stayed at this hotel. Last visited it three years ago and it has been vastly improved. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms (with views) were excellent. We ate dinner and breakfast which were all good in a restaurant overlooking the sea and beach. It has a golf course and a path to the sea (several small sandy beaches with good access) and we saw several seals feeding in the surf. If you are keen on walking the coastal footpath to Mwnt has been realigned and is now very good.

Fantastic place to visit for food and drinks. Great place to have a wedding. Amazing views! Lovely hotel. Really nice staff.

At the moment under a refurb. We were just guests for a wedding reception but borrowed a friend's room to change. The bedroom looked recently decorated and was spacious. The bathroom looked fantastic with a free standing bath and walk in shower. The views were amazing across the estuary at sunset. Prices in the hotel bar were very good for a hotel compared to home!

We had a lovely lunch at The Cliff Hotel today. The soup was absolutely fantastic, all the food was well presented and delicious. The young male waiter was exceptionally efficient — I would be very happy if he was my employee — and the young female waitresses were also lovely. All the staff were professional and polite. We would recommend The Cliff Hotel highly for lunch. (Our photos show the lamb, the sole and the cheesecake. )

Food was good. Rooms nice but staff utterly clueless about the menu.

The food was excellent, it was just a shame that we had to wait over an hour for our meals. We were a table of 6, including 2 young children, and were not advised that there would be a long wait, not were we offered any 'nibbles' such as bread sticks etc to maker up for the wait. Our table was booked for 1pm, we were on time, ordered at 1.15 but were not served until 2.20.2 other tables of 4 who ordered after us, were served before us. The staff were friendly, the decor and views are lovely, but the wait was far too long.

Excellent customer service, professional and friendly. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Food and drinks were amazing plant to choose from. The hotel is comfortable, modern, decorated to a very high standard. Highly recommended all topped with a beautiful view of cardigan bay.

The whole two days my friend and I stayed was amazing, the spa was relaxing and they did some fabulous treatments, but you have to book as soon as you arrive. The rooms were comfortable, sea views are ovbiously the best and well worth the upgrade, the food was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful, we've bin twice now and wud definitely go again.

I stayed here for one night this week. The Hotel is in a stunning location and the foyer, bar and restaurant have all been refurbished and the decor is lovely. My room didn't have a shower so I asked if I could change it and they gave me a free upgrade to a newly refurbished room which was fantastic. Fabulous views across Cardigan Bay and very comfortable with two chairs positioned to enjoy the view. Restaurant staff very friendly.

Room 16 ground floor had no heating adjustment we could find including hand towel rail probably switched off for the summer. Other wise room and views exceptional. Bed large double and very comfortable. Bath too high to step in if you are not too agile restaurant, lovely food some mix up with orders. Breakfast a delight never had better bacon. Antonio head waiter I believe is a real asset to this company really enjoyed our stay lovely views, just watch the sun go down.

Having just spent the w/end there for the Valentines experience and having stayed at this hotel in recent years, we would like to state that the ongoing refurbishment as improved the hotel to a very high standard, the staff, old and new, all do there utmost to make your stay special and most enjoyable, we would recommend this hotel to all, from the stunning views to the accommodation and the food, not to mention the most relaxing spa, THANKYOU, we will be back, x.

Stayed for one night and two days for a family get together. The redevelopment, whilst not yet complete, is incredible! The food (evening meal, breakfast and carvery the next day) was excellent. The staff could not be more polite, helpful and friendly — nothing was too much for them (including putting up with my rampaging two year old). They are a credit to their employer. Whilst our particular room (122) was of compact dimensions, it was spotlessly clean and the modern bathroom a pleasure to use. The view from the bar/restaurant area is, simply, stunning. Will we we be going back? I hope so.

Booked the Spa and treatments for three of us yesterday evening. The Cliff Hotel has great facilities, amazing treatments and the staff are exceptional. Although on the smaller side in comparison to some Spas, it didn't feel overcrowded. By the time we arrived at 6pm it was quiet with only a handful of people in there most of which were leaving or had finished their treatments. Will definitely be going back once a month at the very least.

Me and my wife have been going to the cliff spa for years up until the new owners it did start to resembal faulty towers. But my gosh the new look even though work in progress is very good. i wish the cliff spa well and I just hope that it dosnt get to popular.

My husband and I could not fault the staff, food or facilities. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and decided to opt for a mini spa day. The Cliff Hotel Spa facilities are second to none. We spent a good few hours alternating between the steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, (hexagonal) pool and heated loungers. The well equipped, for it's size gym was also an option. The changing facilities included free showers, lockers (with a £1 refundable deposit) and hairdryers for us ladies. There was also ample seating and showers available. The mini spa day included all of the above and a treatment. Both my husband and myself chose to have a back, upper body and neck massage which was expertly executed and left us feeling revitalised yet relaxed. After having a self indulgent day and a few beers in the bar with stunning views overlooking the bay and golf course, we headed to the restaurant. The food was cooked to perfection and all the staff were attentive, extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the cuisine on offer. We could choose from an 'al a carte' or more traditional 'comfort food' menu. Although the hotel is undergoing renovation at this present time, it did not impede our overall impression. The hotel is perfectly situated and in our opinion, well worth a visit, if only to sample the spa. We will DEFINATELY be back to sample more of what the Cliff has to offer. Thank you to everyone for making our day so special, and the manageress for going above and beyond.

Myself and a work colleague stayed here for one night occupying 2 double rooms with single occupancy. The room was spacious and spotless, the staff especially the breakfast staff and reception staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel is a charming place in a wonderful location. We stay in lots of hotels spanning all the country and this experience at the Cliff Hotel was the best, for the friendly accommodating yet professional staff and superb amenities. I thoroughly recommend this Hotel, and hope I have the pleasure in working in this part of the country again soon.

A lovely hotel, doesn't follow the bad reviews written about it. The spa is lovely, an amazing restaurant, beautiful views and generally a nice place. The only comments I would make to improve on would be the decor (clean but tired) and the outside pool (not for the faint hearted, however some of that is owed to the Welsh weather). The views are spectacular, as are the walks, and it's a great place if you have a dog. There are several notably nice restaurants in the area if you fancy a change, the bay is only a short walk away, and we found the service very quick to respond. There isn't any Wi-Fi, but it's a great little hotel, and we will be staying there shortly again.
