Our second visit to the Shipwright. It is recently under new management and the owner is lovely. We had the Ploughmans off the specials board. It was delicious and huge, the best I've ever had. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone and the prices are very fair for what you get. It has a lovely cosy atmosphere and we will definitely be going back.

Good food, reasonably priced and a great range of drinks.

Popped in yesterday and had a great meal, friendly service and the lobster was perfect, better than I’ve had anywhere else and I’ve eaten a lot of lobsters! Definitely will return.

We had Sunday dinner and pudding here 😁 and it was lovely, also the staff went above and beyond.

Great Sunday lunch and a great Sauvingnon wine for a great price. Great service and a lovely ambiance. Would recommend and we will be back. A great part of history of Pembroke Dock.

Just came back from a lovely meal for my granddaughters 11th birthday. Food was the best I've tasted and biscoff cheesecake was delicious. Fast friendly service from kitchen staff and landlord. We have had the most delicious Christmas lunch ever! The beef was the most tender we have ever tasted and the gravy is to die for. A special mention for the baileys and strawberry cheesecake and your Yorkshire puddings. All delivered on Christmas day with a festive smile. You must have all worked so hard and your lunch most certainly made our Christmas celebrations memorable. Thank you.

Super ‘home-cooked’ food and exceptional service. Sensible COVID precautions. Huge portions. Limited choice of beers/cider but not a deal breaker for us. Thank you Paul and team for a lovely evening out.

Best place for food in Pembroke been coming back and forth for a few years but during lockdown I have been having take always for last three months very friendly food amazing.

I visited in Aug 20 after the lock down. Ordered food at the door with drinks, and received an absolutely brilliant, speedy, warm welcome. The food was spot on. Couldn't fault it in any way. Decent sized portions and a lovely view from the harbour front, will definitely re visit next time in in the area. The owner is really nice and down to earth. Lovely place.

I have had 3 delicious meals so far and going to order again now.
Lovely, friendly and helpful Karen who is a fabulous cook and delivered by the delightful Georgie (hope that's the correct spelling).

We couldn’t go out to celebrate my mum’s birthday today and so the The Shipwright brought the food to us! Absolutely lovely food, really reasonably priced and a very friendly, fab service. Keeping us fed and happy during this rubbish time! Thank you very much.

We had a takeaway/ delivery from The Shipwright last night. Food was fantastic as always. Great service and would highly recommend the takeaway/ delivery service during coronavirus! Can’t wait to go to restaurant when this is all over!

First time at the shipwright as it’s always been fully booked — I can see why. Took hubby for a birthday treat and the food was phenomenal and the staff were lovely, very chatty and gave a lovely welcome. We will definitely be back, hubby said his mixed grill was best he had ever had. See you soon!

Had our first experience of a Sunday Roast here today and don’t think we could go anywhere else now! Great atmosphere, amazing food, 100% happy.

Been to the shipwright a few times now and every time I can never fault the welcome & the fabulous food. Great tasting home cooked food. I’m always torn on what to have because everything just looks so good. I really need to book us in for the Sunday lunch.

Amazing food, proper portions, great hospitality!

We were recommended this home cooked food restaurant a few weeks back and it is by far one of the best places we have eaten. The quality of the food is 100% and as we love meals out that are fresh and cooked to order, we now book in every week for a meal. The staff are first class too, thank you.

Can’t fault the food, the staff, the place itself whatsoever. Had a special family lunch here for a 40th birthday celebration yesterday and also a works bash a few weeks ago — perfect both times. Delicious home cooked grub and plenty of choice catering for everyone! See you again soon!

Superb. I don't normally write reviews but we pre booked as had seen they got booked up a few days in advance and were not disappointed. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the very friendly Gem who took time out to speak to us and our little boy throughout our time there. The food was very well cooked and you could easily tell it was homemade… it was great. Thanks to Wendy the chef. If you want a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and good food at reasonable prices then please try the Shipwright Inn. I couldn't fault anything. The homemade rhubarb crumble was amazing too.

Yummee delicious food. Good old traditional pub with homemade food. Great, friendly service and very welcoming. We hadn’t booked and were lucky to get a table. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return if in the area again.

Been down here a few times & got told to go here but never got around to it until now. The food was lovely & the chips where home made which made it even better! The staff where very friendly & the music was just right.

Walked in, could not find an unreserved table, no one offered to serve us, waited about 3 minutes, staff just talked among themselves and ignored us. Walked out. Was expecting to see some seafood dishes on the menu. The vegetarian items were quorn based.

Can't praise this wonderful establishment enough! 5 stars for this excellent value tasty food. Very helpful with special dietary requirements. Book in advance! Very popular! Great views of estuary too with the Victorian sea fort.

Tables out side if the weather is nice you can enjoy the views over front street, Food choice is good, service was great and food presented very nice, Great mixed grill (I almost struggled to eat it all). Will eat here again and again. Always worth a quick phone call to book a table, as they are often.

Great couple of nights at the shipwright this weekend. Paul and Karen feel like old friends and this is our favourite pub. Shame we live so far away. The welcome is always fantastic for everyone, the food is gorgeous and the craic is the best. Highly recommended, don't forget to book!

Excellent pub. Nice selection of drinks, including local ales and cider. Food is superb, very tasty with a selection of vegetarian and gluten free options, if required. Proper home-cooked food too, no frozen chips. Music was generally eighties and classic rock, but not too loud, so you can still hold a conversation easily. Staff were very friendly which gave the pub a really welcoming feel. It's quite a cosy little place too, so it was always reasonably busy without being rammed. We always got a table, but evening meals are especially popular, so worth booking ahead if you can. Can't recommend enough. Give it a try.
