Me and my friend had a lovely stay here, beds were very comfortable. Lovely hosts too. We were very close to the sea plus pembroke and tenby. All of Pembrokeshire is so beautiful. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful guest house in a stunning location within walking distance of the sea. The room was comfy, clean, spacious and well-equipped, dressed in a traditional style in keeping with the age of the house. The bed was very comfortable and with the room so quiet and dark at night, it made for a very good night’s sleep. Breakfast was bloody marvellous Chosen the day before from a varied menu and served to you at your table rather than buffet-style. This arrangement fitted well with Portclew’s sensible and well-observed COVID controls. The room was not serviced during our 4-night stay but it was easy to order towels, hot drink supplies, etc using a form. The staff were lovely, providing a warm welcome and friendly service throughout our stay. We found lots to explore and do in this part of Pembrokeshire and loads of great places to eat. A car is essential to get about although the Lamphey Bishop’s Palace is walkable over public footpaths and quiet lanes and well worth visiting. There is also a friendly pub within walking distance in Freshwater East called the Freshwater Inn that serves good food. During the time of our visit, with COVID restrictions in place limiting the number of diners restaurants could accommodate, we found it a good idea to call ahead and book our evening meal. Definitely give Portclew House a go — very highly recommended.

We stayed in one of the cottages which was very spacious with a well designed kitchen and a very safe walk in shower and separate bath
The bedroom was comfortable and plenty of storage
Also had a small laundry area off the bedroom with washer and dryer etc
There was a further bedroom which slept Two in twin beds
Everything was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our time there
We had our last night in the Portclew B and B house
Our bedroom was immaculate and the King bed very comfortable

Lovely place to depend a couple of days. Very convenient for all of south Pembrokeshire.

This is one of those places you want to keep secret, to yourself… but is so good you have to rave about it. Lovely house, lovely location, lovely staff. Don't tell too many people how nice this place is.

This cottage is just amazing and very comfortable. Quite near by to the attractions and 10 mins away from the beach. We loved our stay here — highly recommended for anyone looking to relaxing holiday.

A beautiful listed property located in a quiet position. Ideally located for the superb beaches and only fifteen minutes from Tenby. Great hosts and great rooms. Fab choice for breakfast … Will return.

Fab surroundings, ideal place to explore the Stackpole area — wows all round!

Decent accommodation for 7 adults, there is a rather noticeable smell of cows 'mess' however it was perfect for our needs.

This was a family treat for my wife and kids. We had 3 rooms. Arrived Friday 8.7.16 left sadly Sunday 10.7.16. We loved our stay. It was friendly magical, and just perfect in every way. We will definitely be coming back.
