Great place to stop with our motorhome. Lovely food.

Had a lovely Sunday roast here today, vegan for me and chicken for my friend. The staff were super friendly and welcoming I would definitely recommend to all. I will be returning for sure!

Quick relatively local night away, which was perfect for us and our dog 🐕 Room was great, staff were Amazing, beautiful location. Breakfast was one of the Best we have ever had. Can't wait to come and stay again, but for longer next time. 🥰 Try the sticky toffee pud too😋

Terrible food, Service wasn’t too great, Not once were we asked if our food was alright or anything, Won’t be going again.

A lovely 2 night stay. Picturesque setting. Lovely coastline to visit. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room immaculate and spacious. FREE WI-FI was more than adequate. Breakfasts a delight. Had two evening meals. Menu a little limited if you like plainer food but meals were lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible meal last night, how can you burn fish and chips. Waiting staff were poor, and we were sat on our own in what looked like a dungeon.

I booked the Trewern Arms as they had a lovely vegan menu. They were extremely helpful and friendly with booking a table. However, it was when we arrived things went down hill. We had to wait ages to be acknowledged and shown to our table. Our food and drink order was taken very quickly and the food came out and was delicious. We then seemed to be completely abandoned-the service was terrible we had to leave our table 5 times to ask at the bar for the waiting staff to bring things over. We had go ask twice for some water, I had to get up to ask if we could order puddings and then another 2 times to ask for the bill. The pub wasn’t busy and there were only a few tables with other groups outside. Very disappointing experience.

My partner and I randomly came for dinner this evening and was not disappointed, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were delightful.
We will definitely be returning. 5

Stayed during Covid times so not everything was available.
This a very well run and welcoming hotel. I would love to visit again when times are more open to take full advantage of this place. 5/5, 10/10 etc rating from me.

A lovely place to stay. Very peaceful, comfortable with excellent food freshly prepared. Breakfasts about the best I have ever had. Superb local beer. Above all, very friendly service from the owners. Highly recommended.

I wanted to take my freinds somewhere nice for the afternoon and we had a lovely meal there. The lemon posset was to die for. The establishment is very well organised and all the staff were helpful, pleasant and freindly. Thank you, will definitely be going back.

Had Sunday lunch here today 6th September and it was fantastic! Wife and friend had Pembrokeshire pork rump and I had the coffe and chilli short rib… couple of deserts for the ladies and a large Penderyn Celt for me. Staff were extremely friendly and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
PS the beer was excellent as well!

Great choice of real ales, food and service was excellent too. Definitely eating here again soon!

The owners and staff are really friendly and helpful. Some unusual menu items and food was delicious. Location is lovely, it's peaceful, right next to a very pretty bridge over the river.

Good food and local beer (recommended by the staff). Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Good service even with the 30+ ramblers that turned up. Dog friendly too which was an added bonus.

Amazing food! We come here once a year for a family holiday and the food this year was exceptional! The whole pub has a new breath of life and it's lovely to see someone to make the most of it! The food though has surpassed the usual 'pub grub'. Absolute delight and the service was amazing and so friendly!

Great meal. Lovely chips and scampi with homemade tartare sauce. Salad and veg. Really was a lovely meal.

We've always loved coming to Trewrn but after last nights visit im afraid we wont be returning again, we waited for over an hour for food and when it finally arrived we were disgusted! onion rings dripping with fat, Steak that was supposed to be medium rare was burnt to a crisp, lasagne that was cold and a burger that looked more like a small meatball, also the salad was limp and looked days old, we quickly brought this to the attention of the manager who seemed unfazed by what we had just told him and so we soon left, still very hungry and very disappointed, what shame…

We've come to trewern arms for many yrs, always loved the atmosphere, but it's definatley hit or miss, and tonight was a definate miss, beef jerky was thicker than the steak, burger was more like meatball, lasagne cold, onion ring missing the onion and the lettuce was depressed! — off to Chinese now yum!

Rooms are clean and tidy. Bar closes very early 10pm. Food not very good small portion, breakfast consists of a small selection on cereals, very sweet fruit juice and a fry up, of one egg, one small rasher of bacon, some baked beans and tomatoes, nearly forgot deep fat fried mushroom and burnt toast. Pub has been up for sale for over a year.

We had Sunday lunch today. Just lovely. Sat in the rear garden in the fresh air and thoroughly enjoyed. Food was super and had plenty. If we wanted more veg etc we just asked and it came.
A great country pub that welcomes all. In this weather the beer went down very well.
The desert was made by the chef's and were lovely.

Another lovely Sunday lunch today we sat in the garden … Perfect! So peaceful.

Had a very bad meal hear since new owners. Food was very bad. A lot of us had bad stomachs and a few had vomiting I do NOT recommend eating here.

Ordered a ploughmans lunch, from the description on the menu, it sounded fantastic. When it arrived, to say it was disappointing is an understatement. A handful of lettuce leaves that were that old they had black spots all over them and we're as limp as Larry Graysons wrist. A piece of pork pie that had been microwaved to hide the staleness of the pastry, a slice of processed ham and the scotch egg was actually 2 childrens savoury eggs, smaller than a gnats wedding tackle. As for the piece of cheese, I can only assume that the resident mouse is going hungry because it looked like it had been taken from its trap, that's assuming mice dare eat there.

Superb 16th century pub, even better with a good friend of mine running it The Trewern Arms, well worth a visit.

Half way round our hike we stopped here for a delightful lunch. They need more tables outside as many people were unable to enjoy the sunshine and eat. Plus though dogs welcome hikers with dogs needed to sit outside.

Popped in for a drink to see our son (the new chef) beautiful surroundings and pretty walks, as well as the shallow accessible river lovely peaceful location x.

We have been for several meals since the new manager has taken over. Can't speak highly enough of the quality of food and service (and atmosphere! ). The staff can't do enough to help you. Will certainly return as regulars.

Just reopened under new management, food is great and priced fairly. Well stocked bar and all the en-suite rooms have just been refurbished. Free Wi-Fi throughout.

Came here recently after the new management reopened after it had been closed for a couple of months. Had a look around the bedrooms and they look stunning. Stayed for dinner, it was fantastic, try the cockle pots, it's to die for.

Lovely olde worlde bar full of interesting traps on the wall. Although a big place, it was empty when we were there. Friendly staff & good beer.

Staff were lovely, but not well trained, the food on the whole was nice but veg overcooked and fish a bit mushy and had lost its 'flakeyness' With just a few tweaks here and there, it could be a really good venue in an already beautiful spot!

I was staying at the Hotel and dined atthe Restaurant. Even though both took place in the same building, the experience could not have beeb different. Our room was large and affordable at 65GBP. The bathroom was huge and had all amenities. The room was warm and equipped with a coffee maker and clean. The building is overall very authentic and we had a view on the creek which runs next to the building. The downstairs restaurant is a different story: the uninspiring Menü should have been warning enough but the food was obviously warmed up (and not even that was done well, my pasta was still cold) and cooked without any love. The meatball dish, for 10gbp, had 3 meatballs. It also took 20 minutes to get a menu even though we were the only guests there.

Best steak I have had in a long time. Very friendly service.
