Highly recommend! All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed overnight and our room was spotless and really well equipped, our breakfast and evening meals were delicious, we are looking forward to returning in the future.

We had take away food whilst staying nearby in November and again at Christmas. Easy to order, communication is great, collection good and food is delicious. Friendly, welcoming in difficult times but they've worked it out well. Thanks guys, we'll see you in a couple of months.

Would definitely recommend having a meal here it was absolutely delicious we were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary will definitely be back again and the cocktail were amazing.

Had lunch there today and it was lovely, the staff were very helpful too. 3 meals, garlic bread, one sweet and two rounds of drinks, all for £60 so good value as well. Will be back!

When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely friendly guy who checked us in and explained how things were being operated due to all the covid restrictions. Our room was amazing, very clean and plenty of room for our clothing etc. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be looking to come back and stay here for longer in the future.

Stayed here for our Anniversary. Absolutely superb, Room very clean and cosy, food was first class and really friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend The Begelly Arms.

Delicious food here always, a varied menu reasonably priced and very pleasant staff.

Wont be calling there again as we were charged £10.95 for half a chicken and we were told she can't give a price on just a chicken. The waitress should have told us that we would be charge.

Excellent service — good choice of beers-wines-etc. Food was lovely and the fruit cocktail dessert was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Food average but OK, the smoked haddock and chicken curry ok. Service leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered our meal and waited, looking around we noticed that there we notices saying that using our phones was not allowed as it hindered service and that they rather we talked. Fair enough, but what service? I asked for a drink while I was dining to be told "drinks are at the bar". The restaurant was not that busy. We waited, patiently, for the waitress to return once we had finished our meal, no sign of anyone. Eventually our waitress returned and efficiently cleared our plates and asked if we would like Dessert. The cost of dessert being £5.75 put us off considering our main meal was just over £9.00. We declined and asked for the bill. We were told the bill was waiting for us at the bar. We were the only people left in restaurant by this time at 8pm. As we were paying our bill, At the bar, three waitresses appeared to service an empty table so it's not like there short staffed. If service had been better, as we're local, we would have stayed longer in the bar area. Never again.

We booked here for Easter Sunday dinner a few months ago. A group of 7 of us (4 adults & 3 kids) I must admit that this was the best Sunday dinner I've ever had out & about! West Wales has some tremendous places not just views & beaches, so if your a foodie like me & looking to eat you gotta try here! This is now, Our new number 1 place for sunday dinner in West Wales! Curry very disappointing. Possibly not my taste! Never had such a sweet curry no spice taste. Didn't even smell like curry. When I spoke to waitress. Not really interested. Manageress came to see and said chef had tasted curry and said it wasn't sweet. obviously slipped with coconut milk? Not obliging at all no offer of different meal. Won't be calling again. If you like spicy curry don't go here!

We called in at lunchtime and had 2 lovely meals. One was really nice fish and chips and mine was liver and bacon. I could cut the liver with a fork, it was so tender. The beer was first class too.

Meals were well cooked and presented very well. Staff were helpful and polite. No offers on evening meals. Didn't have dessert — they were a bit pricey.

The owner Peter is a pleasant man and help ful.

Had a really lovely Sunday lunch, very popular and busy we had to book a table. On Sunday lunch time pretty sure it's Roast Dinner only with a choice of 4 different meats and 1 vegetarian option with some GF options.

Avoid this hotel like the plague! The owner has no respect for his customers! From the minute we booked this hotel, we have had nothing but trouble with the owner of this hotel. Firstly, I spent 2 hours on the phone with the owner, who became very aggressive very quickly, and was shouting at myself on the phone. As a young female, this left me feeling very intimidated and extremely upset, and as a respectful customer (who managed to remain calm) I certainly did not expect… to be spoken to in the way that I was. There is poor or a complete lack of communication at this hotel, and a result my booking was messed about from the minute we booked the hotel. However, since visiting this hotel I am writing to express how upset I was leaving this hotel. After the first aggressive telephone ordeal, we slept the night at the hotel. Myself and guests woke this morning starving hungry, with our mouths in trim for the breakfast promised to us, and outlined in the booking conformation. We arrived for breakfast on time (9am) with our stomachs rumbling, only to find that the entire hotel was closed with no breakfast waiting for us. Much to our dismay, we tried to access the reception area, this was closed too. We resorted to googling the telephone number of the hotel on our phones and phoned from outside the hotel, in the cold and wet weather. Once again, the aggressive tone of the owner bellowed in my ear and I was left feeling disheartened, totally disrespected and worthless.

Lovely atmosphere and staff. Food was amazing! Great range of Gluten free — owners are used to dealing with Coeliac guests!

Excellent from check in to check out. Great food, well stocked bar and a peaceful and well appointed room. Plenty of space in the room and everything was spotlessly clean.
Without exception, every member of staff I encountered was very pleasant and helpful. The included breakfast was very good too. Shame my stay was just for one night!

Went for Sunday lunch yesterday for the first time and it was delicious, lovely and hot plenty of it. The staff were lovely and helpful. Didn't have to wait long to be served. Would definitely recommend going there.

Myself and my family called in there this Saturday evening I've never been there before but I loved the food I ordered and was very greatful they could accommodate us I think the staff are very friendly and the food was spot on top marks from myself and family to the chef and think this will be our regular visit when staying down the caravan in Kilgetty.

Really enjoyed our 2 nights stay at the begelly arms. Food was lovely, our stay was booked with groupon voucher. Soul and motown on first night was really good. Music on second night was not so good think they needed to be more up beat lol, thought the songs played were sung rather slower than the originals but nice to have live music while playing. Pool. Although with the groupon voucher, the first night course meal was in the deal. Second night we were lucky to get table as really busy, food really hot tasty and plentiful, breakfast each morning was also warm and plentiful, staff friendly. Would definitely stay again, only thing I could say was of concern was the door lock to our room, very hard to open and did worry if fire how quick we could get out knowing how hard it was to open the door, however should of reported this to owners, other than this nothing I can say but good, thank you so much.
