I stayed in this hotel for August Bank Holiday weekend, came over from Ireland on late Ferry Hotel has 24 hour reception despite being only a small family-run hotel, which was handy for coming off ferry at 12:30AM Location: its near the centre of Haverfordwest, well signposted, very near Haverfordwest Castle museum, plenty of parking to the side and rear of the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants/food outlets nearby, though be warned most do not open on Sunday. Room: I stayed in a standard single room, which was comfortable, the furnishings while dated looking were very comfortable, there was a phone, digital TV, with sky sports and a very good selection of standard channels similar to what you would get with UPC/Sky. Hair-dryer, and kettle with teapot and cup with teabags/coffee/milk. My room had only a shower/toilet/sink, my friend who was in another single room had a bath with shower. The view wasn't anything to shout about just a view of a roof and rear car park. Service: Excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful Food/Drink: Excellent with a good selection to suit all tastes, breakfast in the morning included buffet with Cereal/Juice/yoghurts/fruit. Also available was full english breakfast, porridge and tea/toast. Dinner was similar to pub fare, but still excellent quality and taste. Price: Was nicely priced in my opinion, £67.50 per night, rate included breakfast, in comparison to hotels here in Ireland very good price. Especially as you could pay something similar for room excluding breakfast. Food and drink was keenly priced as well, £10 for mains course, £3 per pint. Conclusion: Small hotel, very comfortable, excellent food/service, keenly priced, may not suit disabled person, as it is older structure with stairs to rooms/restaurant, I would definitely stay here again if am going on holiday to Wales.
