Had an overnight stay here. Twin room spotless with excellent facilities. Little extras like biscuits really was lovely. Host was superb, couldn't do enough for you! Breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereals plus cooked breakfast. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Lovely B & B, quiet and comfortable with excellent breakfast; very friendly and helpful with the local area. Also, if you like birds there are well stocked feeders that are very popular with the local avian residents; there six cygnets on the nearby pond!

Excellent food and service, a lovely place to stay and take a break.

Enjoyed a short break from a warm welcome to bright room with comfy bed and views of garden and lots of birds busily eating from feeders. The full English breakfast was delicious and lots of it. I wish I could have stayed longer but will definitely stay there again.

B&B in nice and quiet area.

This is an amazing B&B — great views, great hospitality and Lovely rooms — cant wait to be able to come back here to stay.

We had a very warm welcome on our arrival. We were in the King size room which was a good size with all the facilities you could require. The breakfast was plentiful and good quality (especially the poached eggs which are from their own chickens). We are looking forward to a return visit.

Had two stays at Shakeshaft now — both were lovely in spite of the rain! Beautiful gardens — at least from the windows as it was too wet to explore. Friendly and welcoming hosts, lovely breakfast after a good night in a very comfortable room with the birds in the trees being a great alarm clock. A real country retreat!

I completely lucked out when I stumbled upon Shakeshaft B&B. It's as good as a B&B could get — excellent en-suite bedroom, warm welcome from the two owners, great recommendations for the area and perfect cooked breakfast. I hope to visit again! If you're mountain biking in the area I'd recommend staying here — it's only a 15 minute drive to the start of the Gorlech Trail.
