Went today for a dip n dine they seemed short staffed but food was amazing and staff were friendly and polite whole atmosphere and experience was lovely will definitely be trying to go again.

We had a 21st birthday party here last weekend and it was a fantastic evening, the staff were excellent and very friendly (especially the bar staff who were extremely busy). Nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou Peninsula for such a great party.

What an awesome Christmas lunch I had today! Everything but one thing was gluten free! Thank you for catering for gluten free and doing it with such loveliness. All the staff were friendly and went above and beyond! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Had a fantastic lunch here today, great food and plenty of it, staff were lovely, we really enjoyed it.

Beautifully furnished and decorated, welcoming bar and reception area, the staff are always smiley and welcoming and the service is wonderful and the food and drinks excellent!

Went for an early tennerfest. 3 courses were £17.50 which is pretty good. Rather small offering on the menu, just 3 choices for each course but the food was tasty and well presented. Excellent waiting and bar staff, polite and efficient. For a Monday it was getting busy when we left at around 7pm, which is always a good sign.

Just took advantage of their Sunday BOGOF pizza offer. Pizza was rather delicious and great service from the staff. Will be back to try a different pizza in the near future.

What can I say, never been to the Island before, wonderful friendly helpful staff, beautiful bar reception area, spotless rooms, super heated outdoor pools, right on the seafront at Rousse Tower, by a beautiful bay, easy walking distance to bus stop.
The service and food in the restaurant and bar was exceptional. The hotel has recently had new owners and been extensively refurbished, so if you see any negative comments anywhere about the hotel ignore them… You only get five stars with a hotel, I’ll give them 10 out of 10. I’ll be back.

This dream place has everything to please a great gastronomy that adapts to the allergies of beautiful rooms a pool a good geographical location for walks. The staff made up of many young people as well as the manager are very friendly and seeks to sympathize with the customers. For a hotel like this the value for money is very good. I recommend it.

To the owner Ian Walker, This is a very strong letter of complaint regarding my stay in your hotel. The main concern being the lack of customer service skills your general manager has. On day 5 of our stay after looking at the menu and not wanting to eat the same vegetables and meats we have had for the last 5 nights and openly saying it to the ladies at the desk, we decided (after being offered no alternative) and being the anniversary of my fathers death, we took my disabled mother out for dinner. On our return and after speaking to another party of guests at your hotel, who also did not like the menu but were offered a refund of their £20.50 per person, I decided to ask to speak to the general manager. I went through 5 different members of staff to get to speak to him and I was asked to return in 20 minutes as he was busy which I did. He refused to refund the cost of £61.50 (3 meals) due to the fact I hadn’t spoken to him personally, although on 2 previous nights we have complained about our food being stone cold to the staff, not once did he make an appearance for us to “speak to him personally”. I explained the situation and he was rude and unsympathetic. For a general manager not to deal with past complaints and hide in the kitchen throughout the course of 12 meals throughout our weeks stay, it's not what I would expect and we were not the only party complaining!

Stayed here last week. Nice clean rooms, lovely pleasant staff and good food. Would definitely stay here again.

Went to watch the England game last night on the big outdoor TV with some friends & we had a great night, & not just because England won! Lovely to sit outside & watch it, good fun evening & BBQ&beers were great too. Fingers crossed to watch them again!

Good front desk and housekeeping. Food and service awful. Cold plates cold food and poorly cooked tasteless food. Don't eat here.

Nice hotel, staff very helpful and pleasant. Beautiful location — plenty of stunning running/walking trails within minutes of the front door. Only misses out on 5 stars because the restaurant was closed at 9pm on Friday evening and we hadn't eaten since breakfast… I will almost certainly stop here again next time I'm in the area.

We were there for the New Year gala and stayed 4 nights in total. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food is good. The only reason I haven’t rated the hotel 5 is because of inadequate lighting in the bedrooms and draughts through emergency exit doors making the corridors very cold in the winter.

Really good dinner/dance evening with fantastic food. Good clean/comfortable rooms & nice help yourself breakfast.

This is a first class hotel with first class staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Extra pillow, no problem, breakfast in bed, got it. The beds are very comfortable, very big, and lovely bed linen. Bathroom very good. One young lady on reception fillipa has been so good and kind to me. I am partially disabled and she has looked after my every need. Need a break give Guernsey and the Peninsula a go.

I've just had my birthday party in the event room this weekend which went without a hitch. More than enough bar staff, tables looked great, welcome fizz glasses set out fantastically, and Joshua who dealt with everything was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Couldn't recommend highly enough! Thanks very much to all the staff involved.

Sarnia Restaurant is the Peninisula Hotel's main restaurant. I took my family of 4 for dinner there in August. The price of over £30 a head should guarantee a good night. But the main course's were equivalent to an old 'peoples home' fare. No taste, soft mushy meat, all overcooked. Probably prepared way in advance. Taken from fresh products perhaps but not made fresh. Quite disgusting. I have since learnt the hotel mainly caters for over 50's coach tourists. Join the pack mentality if you want rubbish.

Lovely hotel, family friendly with lovely view from my room which was comfortable and clean. Good restaurant, (great buffet breakfasts) bar and lounge. Mostly friendly, helpful staff although this was a little varied. My only complaint was that my room was too hot despite opening a window and being near the sea. If not air conditioning, fans required.

Lovely hotel in Guernsey, excellent location by sea, quiet and peaceful. Lovely if you want a no noise, no commercialism holiday.

Had another five nights at the Peninsula Hotel… our third visit… comfortable room with a fantastic view… cheerful, helpful, friendly staff. Good food… lovely location… we shall come again!

Very well appointed hotel. Rooms decent size and we'll furnished. Restaurant excellent. Staff helpful and friendly.

Very good centre — far from the hustle and bustle of town, but that is no fault! The restaurant staff were simply wonderful, worked so hard and nothing was too much trouble. The food was stunning, and they were happy to have us drifting around until we had to leave for the airport. The reception staff too were most helpful, and the room very comfortable. All in all an excellent visit.

Good place for large families, all very reasonable. Location is good with views. A little tardy now with time.

Hotel ideally located on the north west coast of Guernsey. Quiet assured and home so British Restaurant at the top.

Good value for money and good staff. It is value for money and position that earns it's review as four star. The rooms are ok and a bit dated, the dinner menu has good food that does disappoint when served. Clientele are older in general and the hotel is very relaxing and in a wonderful setting. My kids are happy the wife content and I have not spent a fortune… so four out of five.
