Stayed there while back self isolating. Room with a balcony was superb. Great meals and extremely helpful staff. A special mention goes to Sabrina who went above and beyond. Have since been back there to dine and again have thoroughly enjoyed it.

It’s a very nice place to stay at fine & central & there is a bus stop outside the hotel so you can get to places, as the hotel gives you booklets to look at & bus timetables. I found the staff all very friendly & helpful. The food here is excellent & you get good portions so you get your money’s worth. I would stay here again know problem.

Our first meal out since lockdown & Les Rocquettes was an excellent choice. We had warm welcome & the staff were friendly, our meal was delicious, the roast potatoes in particular, it's rare to get decent roasties out, highly recommend eating here.

I booked a staycation for a surprise for my boyfriends 35th birthday. On arrival, we were informed that they had given us a free upgrade to a superior room! The room was lovely, very spacious, well decorated and with a balcony overlooking the gardens. We had full use of the facilities which included the gym, pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. We used everything other than the gym and had a lovely, relaxing time. The staycation offer came with a 3 course dinner to enjoy in the restaurant. The service in the restaurant was spot on. Attentive and very helpful waiters/waitresses. The food was absolutely faultless. The portions were large and the food was absolutely delicious! After finishing our puddings we were stuffed! Suddenly, the waiter and waitress bought out a home-made birthday cake for my partner! I had no idea they were going to do this and we both thought it was an incredibly nice touch — they really had gone above and beyond! Unfortunately, we were too full to have any at that point, but they wrapped it up for us to take home! We tried it last night and it was delicious! After a good sleep, we returned to the restaurant for breakfast. There was a massive selection for both the continental and cooked options. I had eggs Benedict whilst my partner enjoyed the full English. Again, we could not fault the food or the service — absolutely brilliant. Overall, I would highly recommend both staying and dining at Les Rocquettes Hotel.

My friend and I had a lovely Festive Afternoon Tea in Ellas Bar yesterday afternoon. Superb sandwiches and cakes, so much we couldn't eat it all. The pigs in blankets were a nice savoury addition too, all for a very reasonable price.

We had our Christmas party here last night and it was absolutely perfect. The room was lovely and spacious and the food and service spot on.

Highly recommend Rocquettes hotel had a 40th birthday meal there last night and staff and management gave best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. Great value and excellent presentation felt very looked after regarding allergies etc. Special thanks to Derek and Mel Franklin for everything they did …

Good food, friendly staff, good location for us in walking distance or on the bus. Never had a bad meal there love to take the grandchildren as well.

High-end establishment in charming style, whose very professional staff is an added value. The rooms are beautifully arranged and the bedding high end.
The décor is neat and tasteful wherever the eye is in the hotel.
Bar, top restaurant.
Gym, swimming pool, jaccusi, sauna are unfailingly clean.
English courtesy reigns as a hostess, so Les Roquettes is the ideal place for those who love refinement, calm and dress neatly.

Brilliant hotel, service, food, staff and accommodation superb. Spa pool was very relaxing. I would highly recommend the crab and Advocado Cocktail, my compliments to the chef.

The Hotel was great but the Staff were truly magnificent. Nothing was a problem to them. The best service I've seen in 35 years of travelling all over the World.

Deliciously tasty healthy food especially the homemade yoghurt and fruit compote, comfortable bed, fridge in room was most useful, and great to include paper and pen on bedside table as a helpful little touch, really clean and welcoming premises, friendly staff, great health suite, loved my stay here. Brilliant stay with family in Flat 1. Flat huge and very comfortable. Private terrace shared with Flat 2 excellent for us. Swimming pool great. Only downside is smell of cooking outside in the mornings.

Hadn't been in 7 or 8 years, the food is back on par with any good restaurant, keep up the good work and we will be back time and time again, a big thumbs up.

On Friday 11th May 2018, I held a Surprise 65th Birthday Party for my Aunty in the Johnson Suite at Les Rocquettes. The organising, the food and the room were all top notch. Thank you to all the wonderful staff, especially Jo who I organised it with. Highly recommended!

We had Sunday lunch. The buffet starter has a great selection of Seafood and cold meats. The Roast Beef was tender and cooked to perfection as was the Lamb shank. Service was spot on. I would highly recommend.

Excelent overnight stay at les rocquetts for our aniversary jo and all the staff went out there way to make us feel very welcome had lovely meal in restaurant in evening again staff all very friendly and welcoming. Highly recomend as such a relaxing atmosphere.

My friends and I went here for the first time for afternoon tea. We will definitely be back again. The scones were amazing, best ever as well as sandwiches and tasty pieces of cake. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

The hotel is great, the room I had was spacious. It wasn't overly posh but you got the feel that they strive for excellence. I only had breakfast so I can't review the evening meal. My breakfast was superb. I would definitely consider staying there again.

Fantastic afternoon in Ella’s lounge. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to assist! The afternoon tea was delicious with a wide selection of fresh sandwiches and wonderful cakes! They catered extremely well for other dietary requirements and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Thank you so much for a catering for the baby shower!

Just coming to the end of our 4 night stay … we have had a lovely time … amazing room … loads of space … extremely clean … generous amount of tea/coffee in the room. Great choice for breakfast … and beautiful food for dinner … staff very attentive especially Bruno who took time to converse with us while carrying out his job to an extremely high standard!

Myself & my husband held our wedding reception here on the 18th may 2017 and it was absolutely stunning. The staff went above & beyond to make sure that we enjoyed every second. Decent place and the food is consistent. Large layout and can cater and handle large groups of people. Also provides a venue for quizzes and comedy nights. Hotel rooms are good too.

A friendly hotel offering a first class experience.

I went for a meal at the Rocquettes Hotel on Saturday 11 October 2014 with my family. I was visiting them from England. As an ex-restaurateur of Guernsey (Cafe du Moulin and Merchant House) I was somewhat appalled at the treatment I received due to my wheat and dairy intolerance. I honestly felt as if I was the only person in the whole world who had ever had these problems and dared to try to eat a meal at the Rocquettes. After looking at the menu I had chosen a starter and main that looked innocuous enough, scallops crab thermidor, without the crab thermidor obviously, and cajun chicken, rosti potato, green beans, salsa. I told the waiter about my intolerances and requested the scallops without the crab cooked in a little butter and ordered the cajun chicken and said if this was a problem could he let me know. He came back and said I couldnt have the scallops because of the crab thermidor, deep breath, I know I cant have the crab thermidor, can I just have the scallops? When the starter came it was lovely, they had even put a bit of fresh crab on top – perhaps the starter chef knew what he was on about. However, the chicken came and was drizzled all over, with a creamy looking sauce!

This has to be my favorite hotel on the island. Great food and comfortable rooms. A friendly place to stay and easy to get to anywhere on the island from here. (Ample Parking). A really great swimming pool which the kids love and also a great gym. For a relaxing stay in a great atmosphere, you will be hard pushed to find a better place to stay.

A great hotel with really friendly staff. Only stayed there 2 nights on a business trip but the place is great. Smashing food in The Oak, the onsite pub which had a great atmosphere. Great swimming pool and well fitted out gym. Good central location on the outskirts of St. Peter Port. Walkable from town if you are fit. Great garden for either relaxing in or playing with the kids. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying on the island.

The best hotel on the island the staff just can't do enough for you so friendly and really good food.
