Unprofessional staff. Celebrating my birthday in meydan was a very bad idea. Rooms are not sound proof. The staff kept irritating us for switching on the TV even. Breakfast buffet was pethetic no options at all. They were hiding the croissant and cup cakes.

The Meydan Hotel is one of my best hotels in Dubai for several reasons:
1) it’s so grande starting from the way to it!
2) the exterior and interior design is just striking, it makes you speechless if you visit it for the first time
3) so many dining outlets — around 27 — to satisfy the most extravagant taste demands
4) so many spaces for weddings & events! Indoor and outdoor with the view on Downtown and Burj Khalifa — it just lies ok her hand palm
5) it is a place to visit or stay when you are in Dubai at least once in your life!

It is a great place, newly built, great rooms, live omelette at breakfast is one of the best. Lunch is good too, I love the Zatar bread here very tasty and different to usual variety Good view to watch Horse Race from Restaurants balcony.

the luggage service has been impeccable. … It is so nice when the staff remembers you as it makes you feel very welcome. It’s like visiting an old friend. Definitely coming back and now getting ready for our favorite restaurant, Shiba.

The current music and suitable for the various locations is priceless!
If executive customer, you can benefit from the availability of the afternoon meal and bar lounge of the most welcoming restaurant in the place: Shiba, a name a guarantee of excellent value ELEVATA and low price!
Not negligible is the location, far from the chaos allows you to listen to the sounds of nature. Also, if you use the taci, you will never have surprises at the cost level: it is a road you remember after the first time you walk it and if you pass x the highway coming back from the old town, the toll of 5 dirhams is loaded and you see it on the display! Enjoy!

Cradled and pampered. If you want to be spoiled, come to this hotel. Luxury and courtesy will make you feel privileged. Wonderful experience for us with 2 small children (1 and 5 years). The free shuttle to downtown and the mer beach is great.

Been there for a real estate launch! Though this hotel is very far and not that accessible for public transport commuters, the event was great! The hotel design is awesome.

It's very nice even the area around is under construction. The new projects around are going to be awesome. If anybody wants to live now there are also some ready apartments and you can also buy your own over there. One of the biggest mall is going to be build over here which will be bigger then Dubai mall. There will be also up to 3km long ski.

Lovely place to stay and enjoy the races The Meydan Hotel is a 5 star hotel, located right next to the grand Meydan racecourse in Dubai. This hotel is high end and primarily caters to the large number of international visitors thronging this site during the horse racing season from November to March-end, when the Dubai World Cup is held here. The hotel offers amazing views of the racetrack and the grandstand. Facilities in the hotel are top-notch and so, is the service provided by the staff and the conceirge. While its location somewhat off the major roads means one can only get to and from here by cab, the place itself more than makes up for it. The hotel also offers a number of conference rooms for corporate events and meetings, which provides business during the non-racing season. It also has sufficient parking for its guests. During the racing season, it offers a tour of the grandstand, horse museum as well as the stables too.

Ramadan Tent amazing decor. Best I've seen so far. Food was excellent. Service very attentive. Aircon a bit to strong for my taste and live music matching the theme but could be less loud. Will definitely come again.

Ramadan tent is nice decorated, and it's connected to the restaurant. But you will have to go inside the restaurant every time to reach the buffet as there is no buffet place in the tent. There isn't any live music. When booking they said that discount Vouchers are not accepted so I didn't get any. However, during the payment they asked if I have any Vouchers to apply it to my bill! Very misleading. Quality of food is average. Not worth 200 AED PP.

Visited the hotel for a dinner party. It was really grand and awesome. The ball room was amazing. The area around is a bit deserted at night. The hotel is surrounded by horse racing track. Overall it's amazingly grand.

Excellent hotel all in length very luxurious with very nice rooms (Premake the Deluxe rooms superbly equipped) the breakfast is excellent as well as the service (whether at the reception, at the bars or at the pool) located close to the interesting spots of the city only flat for families: the lack of kid Club worthy of the name.

A really very nice hotel about 10 minutes by car from the city centre. The Entré is breathtaking. 11 floors high with glass elevators. Valet parking included. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's really all taken care of. It is really quiet although 3 clubs are in and at the hotel. During the season (Novemver to March) It is definitely great right at the racecourse. The rooms are modern, large and clean. The Outlets International. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back. :)

Meydan hotel is a luxurious hotel neatly tucked away in the heart of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid city. This beautifully finished hotel has exquisite interiors that will wow the hardest of hearts. Each room also offers an unhindered view of the Meydan racecourse.

We hav booked 3 rooms last week and we arrived with 2 cars. There were only 2 bellboys who were in the valet when we arrived. There were other cars who came before us so there was a bit of a parking tragic waiting for the boys to accommodate everyone else. We hav waited 15-20 mins outside our cars before our bags were picked and assisted. Considering a 5-star hotel, d service should be beyond quality. I believe that you have to add staff in the valet enough to accommodate the stuff and cars of the guests who are arriving for a more convenient and time consuming experience. However, apart from this, we had a truly amazing experience. The service was indeed exceptional! loved the room and its view! loved the staff and d receptionists are commendable! loved d view from my room! cleaned and spacious! security is at its best! keep it up meydan! me en my family looks forward to going back there soon! I hope not to encounter another valet parking tragic experience!

Elegant hotel. The outdoor entrance area is very spacious, with nice landscape with the large pyramidal water fall facing the entrance elevation. The hotel rooms facing east offer their guests direct view to the horse race. The restaurants offer a wide range of cuisines including Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, etc.

Fantastic hotel, five stars are not enough. Great location by the horse racetrack makes for stunning views and exciting entertainment. Bar, terrace and restaurant can all be recommended. Good selection of cocktails to enjoy the scenery and relax. Asian restaurant (forgot the name) has awesome Dim Sum and Sushi combo, all you can eat. Well done, with great service. They even got my colleague's favorite desert from another restaurant at the same hotel (Omm Ali for connoisseurs). Had the pleasure of staying here a few years back and was equally impressed with luxurious rooms and overwhelming breakfast selection. Waiter remembered our group after the first day and had a table and our coffee / tea orders ready after the first day. Wow.

If I could give this Hotel 10 stars, I would! From the moment we arrived at the Hotel we were in shock. The Bell Boys, Valet Parking attendants, Front Desk and Room Service staff were all very professional and greeted us with a smile at all times. The breakfast was average in taste but had a lot of options to choose from. The room quality was beyond expectations, The Hotel is very large and offers great views. The swimming pool was amazing. Gym was great as well. The best thing about this Hotel was the staff which is very rare to find.

We dined in Prime for my husbands birthday with his brother and his wife. For an expensive meal this was an average experience. We were the only table in the restaurant so there was little ambience or "buzz". We had 4 staff watching and listening to us at one point. Steaks were nice but overpriced. Side portions of veg was minimal compared to the larger portion of asparagus for the same price. We ordered steak chips and my expectation was that they would have been hand made, instead they were clearly frozen chips with lots of the crumbs at the end of a bag — not what I would have expected for the price or for the style of restaurant. We were able to use 2 entertainer food vouchers but refused our a&e entertainer voucher for a bottle of wine. The bill was pver aed2000 after using the vouchers for 4 pax. Overall the hotel was empty and had no soul, and we had an average experience. Due to an injury we cancelled our hotel booking over this weekend and we are glad we did as it would have been a very soulless birthday weekend celebration and will none rebook in a few weeks into another hotel. Not recommended and overpriced.

A great hotel, very friendly staff. Great location if you have a car. And they even gave me a birthday cake which was delicious. The breakfast is great and the room service has been exceptional. No complaints!

This is a grand hotel with a grand entrance and reception. The rooms don't disappoint and they are capacious, airy and all have a racetrack view. They will also arrange tickets to the grandstand if there are races on during your stay. The breakfast was extensive and the protein selection was impressive. I just wish they had a sauna but their lovely roof top pool made up for it. The kids pool is also adjoined by a playground area. The gym is well appointed and it has enough for the leisure user. Definitely will stay here again.

Nice hotel with good service and helpful staff, the food quality is also very good and the room sizes are very good. It's a five star hotel so expect the staying rates to be higher than average, and especially in March every year as the Dubai Horse Racing Championship takes place in the course behind the hotel. Although located just 8 minutes away from Downtown Boulevard, Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, still considered very secluded and good for guests seeking private stays. Has a very nice night club within the hotel premises.

Meydan Hotel is at the heart of dubai. Be sure to have your own car as there is no bus or metro transport around. But the visit is well worth it. It has high dimensional ceiling and great array of Restaurants. Plus their staff is super nice and a happy hour in the bar where you get a discount.

The location is not that favorable, but generally it is very nice hotel. I have been staying there for the 3rd time this year and unfortunatelyI observe deterioration in quality of breakfast. Lets see how the will fare next time.

Wonderful hotel with excellent services. But the hotel is far from city center which is the only drawback. Even no super store or taxi can be find. Hotel shuttle service can be used which is twice a day to only Dubai Mall.

All rooms have beautiful racetrack views, TV in the toilet and double showers. Has a Jacuzzi too. Very relaxing / romantic experience. The price is the best thing about this place.

Great hotel. On a slightly remote property, but cabs and Ubers easily available to drop you to the main areas in couple of minutes. Hotel also has a shuttle to Dubai mall and the beach. Ask reception for details. Check in and check out is a breeze. Note, there is not much available at walking distance from the hotel.

A great place to stay, specially during the Horse Racing time. Rooms are race course facing with Balcony giving great view of the track. Beautifully decorated rooms & good service. A great experience.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best prices around… Reaching there was too confusing, and after reaching the location, the road to entrance was missing sign boards. Guesses what more confusion. I attended Meydan Hotel, for a wedding reception. Guesses what, the sign board to the reception floor was also missing. Apart from the initial goof ups, the food was fantastic, the attitude of the staff (even though we know what Dubai work life is), was great. I would like to hire their venue for any of my future family events.

Very nice deserted hotel resort. Beautifully​ done. Mainly to host the Dubai World Cup Hours Race. It is overlooking hours race course of 1 mile.

Seriously cannot fault the staff at this hotel… we've been treated with such respect and courtesy. Our room 831 is clean and spacious, the bedding superb. Our evening meal in Prime last night was perfect, service again polite and courteous. Can highly revommend the Beef Carpaccio followed by the Wagyu Sirloin with vegetables and dauphinois potatoes, the Shiraz we ordered from the extensive wine list matched the meal brilliantly. The breakfast staff too in Prime (executive lounge) so lovely and helpful, offering to replenish teas and coffee even though self service… wonderful! Only one criticism and it's petty really, I would like a waste bin in the bathroom please? We are loving our stay here, just wish we could stay to watch a race meeting… we'll just have to come back.

Wow. Just wow. Very big, yet not factory like luxury hotel with beautiful rooms and excellent view of the race track. Very friendly staff. What could be seen as a disadvantage is that the hotel for now is "in the middle of nowhere", but that should be remedied once the new Mall is being built. It is said that it will be larger that Dubai Mall.

One of the World Longest Hotels in lenght. Luxury facilities with rooms having outstanding views over the Race Course. Recomended to stay here during Dubai World Cup Carnival. Very nice for a weekend gateway and to try the infinity pool in top of the hotel.

At the beginning was ok but then I forgot whole of my julerry in their safty box and they never called me. I totally forgot about it and after a week I had to think and think for almost an hour until I remembered. I always think about it, what if I couldn't remember.

I stayed here at the beginning and end of my travels across UAE — I chose to come back to this hotel for a reason. Amazing service with absolutely nothing to fault. The restaurants serve delicious food and won't turn you away even if there is 5 minutes until the kitchen closes. Truly recommend this hotel.
