Dubai’s hidden secret. A lovely, quiet hotel with lovely staff and a great pool. I’ve been coming for 12 years and it’s fantastic.

Emailed multiple times over past few weeks and also phoned (and was promised a response to my email) and still haven’t had any acknowledgement. How do you expect paying customers to come to your establishment when you are incapable of answering a simple question?!

Perfect place for weekend get away. Really love the place it was awesome and relaxing. Peaceful and cozy villa and we have our own pool.

Such a gorgeous boutique hotel! Sounded by polo fields and nature it's relaxes the mind and body! Also has of the best spas I've ever been to! The food is delicious and the staff are so professional and helpful! Melia Desert Palm is one of my favorite hotels. A must visit!

This is my first time in Dubai and I was opportunes to lodge in this classy hotel. I love where it is located and their food, staff, services are top notch. I would like to thank these 3people specifically Naisam is wonderful guy, friendly, approachable and does is duties excellently. Farah welcomes you with her charming, beautiful smile and always ready to help. You are guaranteed of your worries melt like wax. She is a fantastic lady.
And the last person is Bilal very helpful guy. I remember trying do something very urgent he went the extra mile to help me get it done. I love this hotel and I would like to come back the next time I come into Dubai. Well done And keep the good work going smoothly the management and entire staff is Melia Desert Palm.

Our family had a few nights staycation last week at this lovely hotel, all the staff were extremely friendly, attentive and could not help us enough.
The breakfast was very delicious.

A little gem my wife and I visited last week. The steakhouse Rare is absolutely superb, as is the fabulous bar. If you’re a whiskey and/or cigar fan, the bar is also well worth a try. You’ll struggle to find a better selection anywhere else in Dubai.

I stayed 2 night in melia for my nephew wedding I like polo suite room amazing view the room is bigger.

Another hidden gem of Dubai. If you enjoy sipping tea and watching polo it’s a great spot. At night the dimmed lights and relaxed atmosphere is a place for a romantic meal or a few cocktails in the bar. Food is great as is the service.

Enjoy the resort. A relaxing place. They put out an excellent welcome for us. With a meat, cheese and fruit platter in our room for free. I really thought that was classic and classy. From the staff to the horses to the food. A great escape from the busy Dubai.

A beautiful property with all the amenities. Specially the open ground area and playground.

Nice hotel 30 mins drive outside of the downtown area of Dubai. Attentive service, 2 decent restaurants and bar. Overlooks the Polo club. If you have a suite overlooking the outdoor seating area it can get really noise on a Thursday night with no soundproof windows. Suite room was very spacious for two people.

It was a very bad experience and the reason why is the following : 1. The pool was dirty with sand and dead insects and the last 2 days the weather was fine so I assume this wasn't cleaned properly. 2. Money value was bad here I didn't get what I paid for the price was 5000 AED. 3. Service in resturant is way too slow and bad compared to other hotels, despite there being 2 customers beside me so no reason at all for bad service, even though I complained about service 2 times I still wasted 1 hour of my life waiting for that breakfast. 4. I don't recommend coming to this hotel if u want to have a good time go to palm Jumeira next to the beach there is a good hotel. 5. You can zoom in the pic and see if it's clean or not mind that in this day weather was cool and nice not windy, you can see for yourself just zoom and u can see the leaves and the black things in the pool.

What a magnet for pomposity and foppishness this place is. "Tally ho everyone. Let's go drink whiskey then go home in our golf cart and shout at the maid for not being white! " Where are these relics of the colonial times coming from? Get back to reality and live in the real world.

A very lovely hotel, spacious room. Spacious and luxurious. Our stay was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel resort stresses importance in 'privacy' that's why they have plenty of villas as well where guests can enjoy a quick getaway. The resort is located only about half an hour from downtown Dubai and yet you can feel like you're really away from the city when you stay here. Love the 'horse' accents and designs. Staff were courteous and welcoming. Drop by the spa as well :)

I love the location and chilled vibe of Desert Palm and have had a number of brunches on the terrace over the past few years. I was there just a couple of weeks ago with friends and whilst the food selection is not enormous like some larger brunches, it is all the better for it. There is something for everyone.
The Thursday evening wine and cheese nights are also a good deal. I took a group from the British Expats Dubai Facebook group to that a few weeks ago and we were all impressed by the range of food provided.

Stayed in one of the Villa. It was one of the best place I stayed in. Great service and it's a beautiful place.

Impressive country that deserves to visit especially outside the summer to be able to withstand the high temperatures of this time. Beautiful mosques. Big malls. The tallest building in the world. An Arab and Muslim country very advanced, cozy and safe. The people are very kind. Highly recommended to visit on cruise and do excursions.

Wonderful setting, great view when the polo is going on. Only gripe is the fact that new it would look amazing but the wear and tear of time has made it look a bit 80s Postmodern. A good clean is all it needs. :)

It is a Four Star Hotel, especially with Polo Club. It is a calm and quiet hotel to spend our holidays for refreshing our mind and body.

Absolutely beautiful and unforgettable experience thanks to amazing Chris the Manager of the Resort — we did greatly appreciate the personal approach his professionalism and kindness and his staff — just great, helpful and so nice, Cesar and Julius are the stars, the room service so proffessional and lovely to be around and cleaners-soo perfect as level of clenlines is sky high! Food is just melting in mouth, the area of the resort is huge but quiet and relaxing, just pure bliss and happiness! thank you!

I had a very bad experience with Desert Palm, they cancelled my booking without valid reason and I booked again however the price was more than SR 3, 000 higher for 2 nights. After that, they cancelled my booking 14 hrs earlier than check in.

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy weekends, especially if you like horses then you will definitely love it. I took 2 bedrooms villa with private pool, it's well arranged and I would give it 5 stars but due to it lack children swimming pool and the private pool too deep for them. It's far from the city but there some shopping malls like mirdef city center and dragon mart. I do recommend it and hopefully in future they can add children swimming pool and adjust the private pool for children.

Where is the Desert Palm? The Desert Palm is a boutique hotel and spa with 2 restaurants, a riding school for the disabled and a fully fledged polo facility with 400 or so horses. We had the Friday brunch at their restaurant Rare which overlooks the polo fields. It’s on the Hatta road, past Dragon mart and the plant souk area of Warsan. There is no traffic on a Friday. We have also had tea at their restaurant Epicure on an earlier occasion. Food at the Desert Palm Brunch? The brunch comprises of fresh oysters, a wide variety of sushi, salads, hot appetizers like prawn tempura as well as an array of live cooking stations. I opted for oysters, sushi, some prawn tempura and then I chose the truffle risotto with chilli for my main course. There was plenty of barbecued meat and fresh pasta all being made to order at live cooking stations. Ambience at Desert Palm Brunch The Desert Palm is a smart place but it has an elegant yet laid back feel about it, so do dress to impress but make sure you’re comfortable. Gents, wear your fanciest and most genuine polo shirts! The fact you’re eating on the polo terrace takes away some of the formality of the occasion but the food, drink and service is top class. Best thing about the Desert Palm Brunch I LOVED this brunch, from the Tattinger champagne and oysters to begin with to the fact that almost all your food was made fresh to order for you despite it being a buffet brunch. The mushroom truffle risotto was one of the best I have tasted.
