We were blown away by this place. The resort is a desert paradise. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I couldn't fault it in any way. If you are looking for a quick getaway for the WE in summer, this is the place. Don't get me wrong, the weather is still very hot, but hanging out in the pool all day and having drinks at the pool bar is great. The hotel itself is stunning, however some of the restaurant do feel heavily outdated. The Indian restaurant is delicious. The rooms and comfortable and original in its own authentic arabian style.

We just spent a wonderful weekend here. Loved it so much, didn't want to leave. Wonderful oasis style location in the middle of the desert sheltered by palm trees. Staff and service were perfect. Caught the buggy to Al Hadeerah for dinner after a cool down in the pool. Breakfast in Al Forsan offers so much choice of excellent quality food. Then off to learn archery in a small group with Haseeb. We are now archery fans. We were upgraded to the junior suite for our stay which was Arabian in style and quietly sophisticated. We became discovery members and will return as soon as we can.

It is do far from the city but when you reach there you forget about that. It is such an exotic traditional Arabian experience with a modernized aspect. The rooms are breathtaking paying attention to every single detail of Arabian decoration. It is really a relaxing place, if you are looking for a more reserved, quiet place, this would be a great choice. The food is nice, the buffet offers a variety of western food but unfortunately not Arabian food choices. Fruits were not so fresh. The Spa Services are super relaxing. The chick in/out and valet service might take a while so be patient.

Beautiful Arabic style decor. Small details are very nice like hidden gems. The bath/ shower is one of the nicest baths I’ve had. Staff super friendly and attentive. The pool area is beautiful. Rooms are a mix of old and new, very different. The things I would recommend would be to upgrade the rooms where you can have an electric / usb plug next to the bed. We know everyone now lives tied to their phone so a charging station on the bedside would be nice. Also the quality of the food could improve a lot. The breakfast was great but room service and food at the Italian place were just a bit plain and not so great considering the price.

I‘m staying as a guest for a 5-day Holiday for the first time at Bab Al Shams. Staff is very attentive, breakfast superb. Eben received an upgrade to a terrace room with desert view, which makes the experience even better. Yes, Restaurants are quite expensive (drinks especially) but I knew this before. Only thing is Equipment of the fitness room (and the fitness room itself) : this could be much better — but in the end, you are not coming to a desert resort to do fitness, I guess (except me.

Great desert hotel. Close to the airport. Rooms are a treat for the eyes, and so is the rest of the hotel. The food is fantastic, and the customer service impeccable. Mohamed prepared a great sisha for us on every night. The young men working the pool bar were very friendly and when I mentioned I didn't quite like the taste of the wrap that I had ordered, they were understanding and courteous. All in all, great end to our trip.

This place is truly a miracle in the middle of desert. Takes around 50 minutes by drive from Dubai city centre. The Resort is Arabian style design with lovely restaurants and outdoor pool. Their Friday brunch is lovely with lots of outdoor activities for kids including camel and pony rides. We had a wonderful time here on New Year day 2018. It is situated far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, peaceful and serene. We went there for brunch, and were happy with the spread. They even had a dedicated kids menu, which is not found generally in other places. Our little one had a nice time in the kids area, playing, coloring n making new friends. Fantastic place! The staff are amazing pamper to your every need. Cool drink on arrival while you wait to book in. The swimming pools are awesome. While you are in the pool, they bring round free ice lollies and water melon on sticks. Just as you think it's getting too hot, they bring round ice cool flannels to cool you down. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are so comfy. They cater for your every need in the rooms and around the pool. I can't thank the staff enough — especially Arnie — thank you Arnie for taking good care of us.

➜ Beautiful Hotel resort in the desert. The Bab Al Shams hotel is about an hour's drive from Dubai. You can visit the various restaurants as an external guest and enjoy a beautiful sunset in the desert.

➜ One of the best hotel in dubai, forget everything and come here enjoy. They have very big swimming pool, it is amazing specially wimming pool in the desert, but they are not allowed swim after eight oclock. L think here is a must-go place in dubai. In the evening, walking with family, they use fire not bulb, even you can smell. More romantic in the night. Also you can walk a little in the desert. Here has a hadiya restaurant, they have dance show here but buffet expensive and music sound too much.

Wonderful desert oasis with great staff and excellent entertainment in the middle if the desert relaxing in a swimming pool with all the modern mod cons of this day and age is a exceptional feeling. Initially checking there was a issue with the room that was conveniently nipped in the bud by the night manager mr Abass who handle the situation professionally and perfectly making our stay at the Bab al shams an experience to remember.

An absolutely stunning resort. So peaceful and authentic. It's simply a must if you plan on visiting Dubai! The pool area is amazing, the lunchtime buffet is delicious with a great variety of quality food, and the staff are extremely accommodating and friendly.

➜ Unfortunately, you have to book people warn of this Hotel! Clear. Desert sounds romantic, it is also! But this Hotel is TOTALLY overpriced! This is a rip-off pure tourist. Were extremely disappointed. The most beautiful there is the Shisha Bar in the evening (if lucky) Live music. The waiters there are attentive, friendly, nice, and everything there is great! The Buffets in the Morning/lunch or evening are under the Standard. Especially the Breakfast : — (

➜ It is a magical place, I have second to none, from the moment we arrived the staff's attention seemed to be from another planet, Every place, makes every moment unbearable, the rooms, breakfast, swimming pool, in general, all the facilities made our stay unique and unrepeatable! Without hesitation I would return.

Really loved this place. Nice for one night stay or a few days. Make sure you get there around 3pm, enjoy the pool, take a little nap, and enjoy the show / buffet at Al Hadeera… Well worth it. Even there "cheapest" room was quite amazing!

➜ The combination of ethnic motives, and rarity in the Interior creates a surprising mood of comfort of the hearth in the rooms. The architecture of the streets and aleek Brooks maze mode of ancient Oriental city with unexpected divančtkami generally gives a feeling of isčeznoveni time.
The contrast of the abundance of water and desert sands around the perimeter of the hotel, on the contrast gives the feel of human power and its fragility, in front of the boundless power of hot desert.

Top few options for having an Arabian heritage-esque experience in the UAE. It is a tourist event. In my top few, this one is the most affordable and easily accessible + great for families and large groups. The destination is 45min from Jumeirah, Dubai and easy to navigate to. On the grounds you will find multiple options from camel and horseback riding in the desert and jeep tours to experience the glory of the sand and it's wildlife. Additionally, one can view the falcon show and learn about their significance in Arabian culture for hunting. The whole day wraps up with a delish feast offering all traditional dishes and deserts (minus camel) and even quite a bit of seafood. The dinner show is a bit cheesy, but the traditional music with violin and tribal drums are fantastic and soothing. enjoy!
