Just checked in and went to mall. However the standard room was exquisite. Definitely coming back for another weekend staycation.

Lost and Found! Thank you Movenpick Hotel staff who took the extra mile to track through CCTV when and where I misplaced my wedding band as I just checked out of the hotel. They thoroughly checked the room, the areas, the breakfast place and in 20 minutes I got my ring! In a foreign land I have strangers who became my guardian angels!

We had an excellent and comfortable stay. Fifteen of us family went. I will reccomend this hotel to anyone. Front desk and restaurant staff was very courteous and helpful. We can not fault this hotel and ALL the staff and I mean ALL were amazing cheerful, the staff at the executive lounge and the Mistral restaurant who were extremely professional but equally friendly and accommodating.
We had a great time and our kids loved it and we could have wished for a better place to stay and will be definitely coming back. Thank you for looking after us so so well. My children are really upset why did they come back. They definitely want to go back to the same hotel again. See you next year in 2021.

Last tuesday we had an excellent eating experience at Revo cafe… from walking in the door and being greeted by employees, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful. Special mention to one of the employees, Arlene, who make sure everything goes well with the service and food, making our experience exceptional. The ambience is very warm & welcoming. We will definitely will come back and recommend this place to our friends and family.

Great place calm excellent services polite staff highly standard specially me mostapha who is providing the Arabic coffee to the guests I noticed that he is proactively approaching guests he give the best coffee he is professional and so polite he got strong communication skills I think I have seen him before done where in trip advisor last year hear I met him again I was so happy for that.

I have good experience before with this hotel but in this stay was concern: 1. Old beach was very fantastic and attractive but new beach is small (swimming pool) and its timing is inconvenience (should be from early morning, not started from 9:00 am from hotel) 2. The room not has refrigerator (I took 2 rooms and their no ref. In any of them) I ask them to bring one many times after 6 hours they brought one)! really I like the hotel and still remaining good option fore family.

Overall it was a satisfactory experience. Only thing is since they mentioned the hotel as 5 star I expected our room to be little bit cozy, but that let me down. Bfast was good and enjoyed. Enjoyed Swimming pool too. We were very much relaxed to have 2 hours of grace time.

Booked a two night stay. Was offered an upgrade for a small fee which was accepted. Great experience right from check in. The staff were so polite and cheerful. Clean room, great facilities and had a lovely time. Thanks to Delia at the kids centre for her patience and time with our child. The ambience and vibe of the hotel is excellent — enjoyed the themes here. The breakfast buffet is highly recommended. Was only missing the minibar refrigerator in the suite but everything else was great. A new favourite in Dubai!

Best Hotel ever! They are so caring and offered us drinks when we were leaving at 5:30am in the morning to ensure that we weren’t hungry when we boarded our flight. Also, they offer an impressionable amount of different cuisines such as: Chinese, Indian and Italian, as I only tried Chinese it was very tasty and the workers were very helpful in explaining each food item on the menu to us. In addition, the workers overall in the hotel are very kind and have an extraordinarily amount of knowledge about the hotel within their mind making it easier for them to help us when asking about different locations or services the hotel provides. Honestly, this hotel is awesome the rooms are always kept cleaned and the cleaners ensure that you have everything given to you. For example, one of the cleaners knocked on the door and asked us if we needed extra towels, tea, drinks or anything. Unlike most hotels this hotel show honesty and you can feel the positive energy while there. They also have loads of fun and relaxing stuff to do such as; a gym, a spa, activities etc. As I went to the spa the women gave me the best treatment I have ever had considering it being my first time. They were very respectful and had knowledge about how they were taking care of my skin by informing me about their procedures effectively.

A nice hotel not very far away from the central section of Dubai. It’s pretty comfortable and serves amazing breakfast with a good layout. The room offered to me was good and big. You can see the photos. I like the way it was designed. You can stay here if you like to shop from medium level brands in a mall that is bang opposite the hotel and stay away from the busy section of Dubai.

I was at the hotel on Thursday for Iftar with my husband and we were very dissapointed. I booked for the Al Bahou restaurant well in advance but got a call at the last minute and was informed that the restaurant was fully booked and that the buffet was transferred at Mistral restaurant. I was assured that the buffet would be the same but it was not the case. The food was basic and the buffet was so limited. There was so little choice, ranging from the starters to the main dishes and dessert. We were expecting a sumptuous iftar and it was such a dissapointment, so basic. It was totally not worth the money.

The hotel is very nice and very clean. The staff were extremely attentive and very nice and always had a smile on their face. Dinner didn't taste so good to us, but that's our personal feeling. We were once having lunch instead of having dinner, that was around worlds better. There was sushi, different varieties of pizza and even a chocolate fountain, as well as different varieties of ice cream. Considering that dinner per couple costs 100 euros, we didn't find it appropriate.

We have to go to this hotel periodically to eat. Very pleasant choice of various tasty dishes. With the program entertainer turns out also very profitable. And, of course, anturage. ) in the Arabian-Moroccan style is very pleasant. Being there-just relax from the bustle of the city. Quiet, peaceful, cozy.
The parking lot is decent, the service is good.

Awesome from start to finish. Room was a good size, very clean and welcoming. Had brunch which was fantastic, again. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool is nice. Only downside was that we could not get the AC in the room to go above 24.5'C, we don't like it that cold!

Stayed in an Executive Room and it was well worth it — Breakfast, extensive Afternoon Tea and Dinner basically included for the entire stay (including all drinks). A nice and well managed hotel on the southern outskirts of Dubai, near the new airport DWC. Especially the office chef Sven from Germany is very nice and extremely helpful.
On one side, unfortunately, one looks at a large factory, on the other side on the city and the Ibn Battuta Mall. The metro station is right outside the door.
The Beach Club Riva on the palm is included. And a direct shuttle is offered there.
A good alternative to city hotels.

Room was perfect and every day cleaned. A special thank to Georges for his kindness : we felt every morning welcome in the executive restaurant for breakfast. He cares for everybody, takes time to ask how we are, of he can do something for us, … really an important person in the hotel. We found the restaurants in the hotel too expensive. There was also nearly nobody (perhaps because so expensive? ) which didn't encourage to enter.

Hotel is located directly on a highway. The view from the small room goes towards power stations. The breakfast buffet is undelightd and of no special variety. The staff is not attentive, it is not delivered automatically. Overall disappointing. Have been in 5 star hotels in the Emirates many times, this one was the worst.

The hotel facilities were wonderful. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The beach club was easily accessed by the hotel shuttle and the beach was beautiful with beds and towels provided, also the pool and bar area were nice if you wished to sit under an umbrella out of the sun. There was a beautiful mall across from the hotel for some shopping or going for coffee. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of March for 7 nights with half board. The hotel is very clean the staff very friendly The breakfast and dinner is very rich and varied. Also the daily reception of Mustaffa with its dates and the Arabian coffee enjoyed us very much. Should we travel again to Dubai again and again gladly to the Mövenpick Ibn Battuta Gate.

Unfortunately, the arrival was only professional not cordial. The first room dark and tiny. The second significantly better. Unfortunately we had to wait until 5pm to obtain it. Financial statements are confusing. Update not bookable because room category is incorrectly named and not described. Late check out too expensive. At the pool bar it was necessary to pay cash. Minibar with 4 Euro per 0, 3 water almost outrageous. Hotel location, far from the beach and the city centre. In the industrial area and opposite a shopping centre.

Extremely impressed by the breakfast buffet. The overall experience was very good (room, swimming pool etc) but the breakfast buffet really was something else (and I’ve seen a few). Everything you could wish for, and all delicious as well. The only thing I could not find was apple juice, hence the 9 instead of the 10. If you stay for the night, dont deprive yourself of this dream breakfast buffet in the morning.

Excellent hotel with great food and staff. Go all inclusive to experience all the restaurants and free drinks, the milkshakes are lush by the pool on the roof. Try the Shanghai Chic best Chinese restaurant for food and service Guana from Nepal with the great smile and customer service made our trip even better to the restaurant. Highly recommended. If you want sun all day no issues at the new free beach club.

An elegant place. We arrived about 9:30. We were not available for breakfast on the day, according to the booking. That's why we had a bite to eat in the bar snack bar next to the restaurant. Our room should not be ready until 15:00. So we wanted to go to the pool and met a very accommodating Mr. De Rooij (General Manager) on the way there. He invited us to breakfast and made sure we could move into our room afterwards. A special thank you for that. But also all other employees and employees are very nice and are mindful of the guest's well-being. The pool is located on the 8th floor. Towels and loungers free. With bar near the pool.

A real 5* hotel with all the facilities and customer care of 5* hotels around the world. International food is offered and delicious fresh juice is ready at any time. Rooms are spacious and clean. You can watch TV from the shower room through glass. I liked it very much. They only negative point is that it's expensive. Ibn Battuta Mall is next to the hotel room add a lot of value to the location.

Good beautiful 5 star hotel. Depending on the room category, good to very good rooms. Since my last visit, the breakfast room has been expanded. Whether better? I don't find. Not every change brings improvement, either. Rooftop pool and a well-equipped GYM. Every Friday Branch possible. Shuttle bus to the beach hourly. The beautiful and large Battuta Mall can be reached above the road. To the city center by taxi about 25 minutes. Marina, Madinat Baraski Beach Bar 10 — 15 min. Ski Hall and Mall og Emirates 10 — 15 min. Following the Metro 8 min. Breakfast one of the best I have had so far. Selection smelling. 4 stars for a 5 star hotel. Slowly a change must take place to hold 5 stars. At least the far too slowest and repeatedly divisive connection to the Wi-Fi should be changed.

This hotel really did not meet expectations nor its 5 star status in any way. * Loud drilling very noisy in the morning. * Rooms were dated and had a strange mouldy smell. Chips and stains on most on the walls and furniture. Kettle was broken and toilet made a whale-like noise every time it was flushed. * Housekeeping was sloppy — amenities were not replaced when depleted and even when they were replaced they were wet from the canister not being cleaned or dried properly. * View of power plant from the room was not scenic by any means. * Location of the hotel is way too far from main attractions and you will find yourself losing time taking taxis everywhere. We were not ever told about the shuttle bus service to the larger malls by concierge nor did they bother to ask where we were going when we were calling for taxis. With all these cons you would hope the service to be great but it was also underwhelming staff were pleasant enough but largely indifferent. Save yourself the regret and book somewhere else as there are plenty more nice hotels in Dubai. I wish I did and after my experience would not stay here nor recommend to anyone!

After a stay at the Atlantis the Palm and then at the Jumeirah at Étihad Tower in Abu Dhabi, I stayed at this hotel.
The master word of staying at this hotel is "perfect".
Certainly the hotel done previously are much more luxurious but nothing replaces the warm staff and the loews of the Guést no matter the room it has.
A bottle of champagne was brought to the room, an adequate decoration was installed us being our honeymoon trip.
A concierge staff perfect to listen and help in particular "Timame" speaking French it was a great help.
Mickaël, who advised us very well, we had a very nice evening thanks to these tips.
Finally, I thank all the staff of this hotel and would surely come back very quickly.

Incredible variety when eating, everything is always fresh and plentiful. The rooms are top, special highlights are the shower, the bathtub the bed, the pool on the 8th floor. Full 5 stars.

We got great service and a free upgrade to the premium lounge, which was nice. Food and breakfast is nice and LOADS of choice. Porters are very helpful and we had lots of luggage and made them work hard but they were still pleasant and helpful. Also when we had guests they went the extra mile and opened up the premium lounge to us and even brought tea/coffee and other snacks. Very good service and not stuck up at all.

Movenpick was really great! The room was great, service was awesome, food was fantastic, I got this hotel because they had a good buffet package. My only issue was the distance from the main attractions in Dubai, we found ourselves riding in taxis a lot whereas had we stayed downtown we could have avoided a lot of traffic. But it was ok, I believe the price made up for the distance. Overall a very beautiful hotel!

Great hotel with very friendly staff who can't do enough to help you. Breakfast is amazing, so much choice and great quality. There's a mall just across the street and you walk through it to the metro or you can always get a cab at the front of the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We visited the Ibn Battuta Movenpick for a Friday brunch whilst passing through Dubai on the way back to England fun Australia. We used to live in Dubai so we know what makes a good brunch. Friends with children had recommended it because of the way the kids are catered for in terms of food and entertainment and we were not disappointed. They had a bouncy castle, face painting, another play area with slides etc, a separate room with kids food and films and another area with books and colouring in etc. The kids were well looked after and all the areas had staff in attendance. For the adults, the food was exceptional. Amazing seafood and the roasts were fabulous. All in all, highly recommended.

Had great stay at this hotel, good rooms and facilities, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Great location next to battuta mall, metro station and bus station. Have access to the beach and infinity pool on the palm with a free shuttle there, which is a great place to visit for the day. The included breakfast buffet is great with a big selection to cater for everyone. The Friday evening brunch was really good and definitely worth doing. Hotel really clean and modern, with staff always on hand to help. Pool on 8th floor is nice but has limited amounts of sunbeds so can get crowded. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 5 nights in total luxury a truly 5 star experience made special by the staff who are all so helpful and friendly. The Friday Brunch is an experience not to be missed. The rooftop pool helps you stay cool and the relaxing sundeck area is a nice place for a quiet read.
wherever you eat the food here is amazing from the massive selection of breakfast in the main dining area to the quiet executive lounge where you can relax and have afternoon tea or evening drinks with hot or cold canapes.
We stayed in a suit which had a lounge and dining area seperate to the spacious bedroom with king size bed.
This was our first time in Dubai and staying here made our stay even more memorable.

Okay, so I originally rated this place 4*, however, one person that truly made a difference and made me change my mind was the Best chef in the hotel: MANTU! His skills truly stood out for me and pushed all of the negatives that I had about my experience to one side… I informed his manager that he needs to be paid more money and needs a rise in salary, this definitely needs to be considered. The whole hotel is really clean, staff are very friendly and VERY attentive and well mannered. I'd highly recommend this stay to anyone! Weather is great and so are the people here. book up!

Beautiful hotel. Stayed here the night before my wedding. Driven past the hotel loads of times but never been in. Room service was great and rooms are spacious, clean and welcoming. Will stay again.

Business trip of 4 nights, first time in this hotel but not in Dubai and dont have anything to say in the negative. The hotel is huge, every kind of services, atmosphere, and the one that most impressed me, very beautiful and scenic. The room was very large and beautiful, double impeccable service (morning and afternoon). The hotel has various restaurants, I tried the Italian one and it is really worth it, the chef is Italian! The breakfast is also up to scratch with things of every kind. The location is a little out of hand, beyond the business district, but here it moves with a taxi regardless saw the distances, then it's not an issue. Attached to the battuta gate mall, then you do shopping on foot. If I had to say something the only small flaw is the view from the pool, covered the walls outside, and not much, other hotels have views mozzagiato of the city from their rooftop swimming pools.

Our family stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in the Movenpick Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel a few days ago, we enjoyed almost everything moment when we were there, the hotel lobby was magnificient with tranquility music (it gives you a fullfilled feeling when you walk under those hanging lama traditional lights), the dinning restaurant with high quallity of food, the staffs were one of those friendliest we have met on our travels, especially those in the bar (the comlimentary chocolate drink from 5pm to 6 pm was delicious, couldn't help to have another cup! ) and life saving guard at the swimming pool. We love their greeting and sweet smiles. The gym centre was great as it open 24 hours! Another great stuff I have to mention is the pillow. They are so comfortable and can fall asleep so easily (cause mum used to very hard to have sound sleep, but she slept well for those 3 nights. ） By the way, could you please advise the brand of the pillow and where can we buy them and how much it cost.

Had a wonderful 9 day stay at this fantastic Hotel, it's beautiful, the decor the rooms and all the staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough for you. Special thanks to Bilal, Jason and all the other pool staff. Also I would like to thank the kids club staff who made my daughters stay even better Glenda, Joe-Ann and Delia. The food is 5star in all the restaurants but the Chinese was exceptional.

Hammer experience, very luxurious and top located.

From the moment I was met at the door with coffee and dates by an Egyptian man called Mostafa until departure 8 days later I was made feel welcome by the friendliest staff that I have met anywhere in the world. The food, restaurants, bars, pool, beach venue, were all first class with a whatever you want whenever you want attitude by all of the staff. The rooms were clean spacious and serviced daily by attention to detail staff I will definitely be back to this fabulous Hotel.

Stayed at Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai in late March this year, this was our second time there, having enjoyed our first stay there around the same time last year. We found the staff to be ever so helpful and friendly particularly at the reception area! The ambience of the place is delightful. There are so many restaurants to dine in and the variety is second to none. Not to forget the lovely staff in the bar always smiling! The rooms are of a superior nature and very cosy. Stay here twice a year for two weeks at a time. Great staff, excellent restaurants, beautiful facilities and it is nice to have the Ibn Battuta mall right across the street if you ever need anything or just feel like shopping on a whim. I love the breakfast buffet, best I have had anywhere.
