this is the worst hotel, staff is not helpful, they misbehave.
we booked the viceroy suite & lights were not working, jacquisy was not working, no charging point was working.
this is a pathetic hotel.
they are fraud, at the last day of our stay they took 200 aed for no reason. Threatening us by name of dubai police. They are theifs. please look at the matter! @dubaipolice.

No cleaning staff, 1 person for the entire hotel and he also does not clean the rooms properly.
When we checked in, the room floor was oily and sticky. Bathroom floor was full of previous occupants hair.
Got both floors cleaned after multiple requests.
Breakfast is terrible and feels like a local tiffin service, no good range and taste of items. …

The rooms were nice… But the breakfast wasn't please improve the quality of the breakfast. Overall the staff was fine some of them were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Great place which guarantees a comfortable stay. Rooms are very huge! A very tranquil place. Lots of facilities available like Swimming Pool, Steam Room, Salon etc. Thai Massage wasn't open the whole time we were there though but we were satisfied with our stay.

Very bad service n rude staff. There are cockroaches in the bathroom. My wife n kids are staying there n the management is very rude. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone. Worst experience ever. They are rated under the category of 5 Star property. I feel local hotels offer better hygiene n service than them. We normally check in at Park Regas. This time to try something different I booked Grand Excelsior. Complete waste of money. I am actually trying to shift my wife n kids.

The hotel is just great. Friendly staff. The room was clean. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Metro is a ten minute walk away. Nearby Grocery store.

A clean and well maintained hotel. Which has a great view of the City for front view rooms. What makes it more greater is the staff who are very accommodating. Special thanks to the front desk personnel Dennis for an immediate response to my request. As well as the room boy Bruce. You make my stay valued for my money.

Asslamoalaikum Today we checked in at GRAND EXCELSIOR HOTEL BUR DUBAI. Staying in room 214. We had lunch food in Docklands restaurant. The restaurant food is hovered by pests, mosquitoes and flies. I complaint to hotel management and they answered me that Dubai municipality is in knowledge because in this weather Dubai is full of pests and mosquitoes. It was a strange answer because what I know about Dubai municipality, it's the best for hygiene and services in the world. Despite our complaint management took no notice. I am sending u video and my written complaint for an appropriate actiom.

Nice city hotel. The food and service were very good. In the evening we drank our beer in the bar, on the rooftop terrace. We felt very comfortable there. We were with the tour operator Zest for life in Dubai. It was a great holiday. It was all super organized and we have seen a lot. I can only recommend this trip.

A really excellent hotel. I loved the way they carry out the check-in and check-out procedures — no hassle at all. The hotel rooms are very clean and neatly maintained. I loved their food. Especially the breakfast. Every morning, you wake up and find yourself amidst very colorful and tasty food that calls you in to indulge. My day would go very well after eating a filling breakfast! It was kind of a happy place for me!

Very nice and wonderful hotel. I feel satisfied and happy with this hotel. Room service is excellent. In future I will prefer this hotel for myself and friends.

Arrival at the hotel around midnight, suitcases brought to the room at night at 3. Very friendly staff. Sights were easy to reach by Metro and taxi. Food tasted very good. Can I recommend. When checking out, a bed tax of 15 dirhams per day is payable. Also very attentive. A cake was brought to the room for the birthday. Unfortunately no plate and knife. In the hotel it was also very quiet. Nice pool on the roof.

The hotel looks very nice and well kept on the internet. The rooms are clean and the room service is tidy. In general, the rooms could be slightly refurbished. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is good. Breakfast in the restaurant on the roof weird again clearly recognizable that also here is a renovation is announced. Breakfast was clear but good. The connection to the city and the fair is good.
Update the breakfast is clear and spartan. The dinner in the restaurant is buffet style and well sorted.
Very disturbing is the loud music of the karaoke-bar, which was made up at 1 o'clock for music in my room on the 2nd floor. Man should choose a room on the 7th floor to be sure to have a rest.

The breakfast was good. The hotel is 4 star, however, I feel its 3-3.5 star hotel. Bed begs. Slightly slow service. In general, it was decent hotel. But worth exploring other hotel of similar range.

Stayed during 11 Jan to 15 Jan 18. Excellent location on main road. Taxis always available. A super market and few restaurants at walking distance. Very Nice hotel. Facilities match 5 Star comfort. Very good hospitality. Staff is helpful. Overall it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and value for money. Will like to visit again. Hotel may consider adding some more items to the Breakfast spread.

A catastrophic hotel! Cockroaches, rooms of receptions not clean, a broken shower, a lack of staff who is screamed on, music until 4 o'clock in the morning and even prostitutes who drag in the corridors. it s a bas hôtel!

Gypsy is the only reason I enter this hotel. Great indo-chinese food. The must try here — Egg schezwan fried rice and veg spring roll. Ask for the garlic venegar sauce…

Hotel aging but still correct.

During my recent stay the bathroom was poorly cleaned and the room was old and worn. The air-condition smelled badly, most probably due to the room being a smoker's room before. The breakfast was not as good as the many choices made you believe. While most of the staff were over-friendly, others were inattentive and some even rude. Over all not worth the money.

Awesome experience of staying here. Staff is courteous and helping. Breakfast buffet is enormous with loads of options to choose from… Clean rooms. One suggestion guys do not call uber cabs rather take yellow taxi it will cost you half than uber.

The best of the hotel is the location, is not so luxurious, but is comfortable and centrally located. If you speak English will not have problems, if you want to save on hotel to spend on other attractions in Dubai, this is good choice, comfortable, centrally located, spacious and pleasant.

Midsized budget place. Heart of the city. Mainly Indian dominated hotel and locality. But good for a short stay.

I never tried excelior as a place to stay … I went last week with one of my visiting friends to try some clubs in the town, we went first to grand excelior to the club amnesia located in the floor B1 we paid entrance (as they will not allow you to enter and check before) we went inside for less than 2 minutes and came back out as the club was totaly empty (only employees was there at 12 am). Where they didn't allow us to take our money back. Its not a matter of moneyits a matter of respecting the customer choice (specialy that we just entered and left) that was so weird specialy in a city like dubai, we went to the reception of the hotel to check how this happens and how they can support they said that the managment of this club is not under them and they can do nothing … how a hotel like this does not control these issues as at the enf the club is located in the hotel and it will affect hotel reputation first …

They have so many options for people who thrive on night life. Live music, discotheque, lounge, cafe & bar, etc. I went to the rooftop cafe for sheesha & drinks. The sheesha was really really amazing, the drinks too were potent. I would recommend this place with eyes closed to anyone who is looking to have good time.

Small clean rooms. Good Wi-Fi. Hookah pani offers nice club atmosphere on hotel roof. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

Room are spacious and good. No courtesy to guest. Poor room services and maintanance of services. Like fridge not working, keeping only one towel for 2 guests. Breakfast quality and variety good. I stayed in the last week of oct. 2015 for 4 days.

We were there from 7th may to 12th may excellent hotel with all facilities rooms are spacious with very beautiful bathrooms overall double value for ur money tasty food.

Not so good And there is very bad smell in the lobby I think kitchen is near so all cooking smell you can smell it in the lobby.

I was there in last 7th to 11 th December 2013. Here is no Wi-Fi facility… it's a bad side for this.
