This is the a secluded place far from the hustle and bustle of Abu Dhabi. The best spot to do nothing just relax and chill in the middle of dessert. But the hotel offers a good range of activities, such as camel ride. Friendly staff. I'll miss my exotic Arabian moments — enjoying the sunset, walking in dessert before sunrise. And of course indulging myself with dates plus gahwa or Arabic coffee.

The place is really amazing, the staff is great and very helpful. The food is delicious and there is a good variety. The hotel has a really nice ambience, and a great pool with lots of nearby activities. The only inconvenience is that they haven't quite worked out air conditioning — it was broken in our room which was freezing, and every time we wanted it changed a man with a ladder had to come, step into our bathroom in his heavy, dirty work shoes, open the ceiling and change it manually. Unfortunately it didn't keep for very long, and soon we had to call him again. AC also seems to be broken in their restaurant, which seriously must've been about 35 degrees warm.

Amazing place for a romantic gateway, with an excellent service and extremely friendly staff, ready to help you prepare a special evening celebration with all possible details. There are plenty activities available for families, the spa and massages are great. We really enjoy every visit. Highly recommended!

We visited the hotel for the second time using a Groupon voucher: great value for money and once again a very good stay! The location is in the middle of nowhere and it's incredible to be able to stay outside with more than 45° (in the shadow) without melting. Good facilities, kind staff and great view.

This resort is the only real interest of this area. The ideal is to sleep at least one night because this hotel, alone in the middle of the desert, is absolutely magical, like a dream mirage in the middle of the dunes. Poetic and enchanting. To do absolutely!

The place is literally in the heart of desert. It's for a short get away from city life. Expect to travel between 3 to 4 hours from Dubai so do fill up your fuel tanks. Lots of things to try, especially infinity pool and walk along the desert. Nearest mall is 30 minutes drive.

Nice and beautiful hotel in the middle of dessert. But very far from Dubai it took around 2-3 hour to reach there. Staff are very friendly. One thing I don't like is that place are not clean. You can see dead house fly every were, and I mean and that disgusting. Atleast you can expect in this kind of hotel. Rest all good and fine. In evening you can do outdoor activities like camel ride, sand bashing etc. Peace full and beautiful place but best time to visit there in winter time.

Not matching the hyper reviews in the case of staffs and coordination. No proper internal communication and the guests wait for everything start from checkin. Atmosphere and ambience are good and the view from pool is amazing. Didn't woke up for breakfast, so no clue about that.

The hardware was comfortable, but the receptionist was not quick enough to respond to the crisis, we booked two rooms, three o'clock check in, tell us that the room is not good to wait until four o'clock, the results to four, to ask and said that still have to wait for 20 minutes, finally a room can give us, and said another room for five minutes is good, We went to the first room to swim in the swimming pool, leaving one person in the room waiting for another room card, the results wait until 5:30 to the counter to give us a second key, there is no compensation during this period, but also to ask me to send at least some fruit, only to send two small plate of fruit, let us waste time waiting, nor active compensation, Hotel management needs to be strengthened, not a very enjoyable accommodation experience.

You really can't go wrong with this hotel in this region. It's tucked away which fosters a relaxing, secluded atmosphere. However, there is still plenty to do and see here and in the town. They have frequent events going on and offer additional activities at reasonable costs. The environment is beautiful and the rooms are really nice and are kept clean. The staff will bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and accommodated and are all very friendly. If there's any issue, they won't hesitate to fix it. It's truly a nice place to stay.

This hotel is situated in a remote part of Abu Dhabi ahead of Madinat Zayed. This hotel is admist a desert and has marvelous views. It is usually fully booked during weekends, more so if it's winter. It has 1 restaurant, Liyali, that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are not many vegetarian choices in at the restaurant. They have an infinity pool that overlooks the desert, which is remarkable. The hotel itself is clean. The rooms are large.

Well, here you are sent to the desert.
Good hotel, great food but pool is way too small for the number of rooms — especially when there are lots of local guests.

Beautiful property, not a fan of food, polite and helpful staff. If you buy the romantic package, don’t be fooled by private butler and 5 course dinner, its basically room service for free from a set menu. I was expecting something more refined. The supposed “butler” came in and put all the food on table uncovered so me and my husband were practically eating cold food. I am giving all the three stars to the amazing spa staff and front office staff.

After a 2 hour drive through complete desert I had no idea what to expect and was completely blown away. The hotel is incredible, the location is out of this world. Absolutely worth a visit any time you're in the UAE — don't let the length of the drive put you off.

An ideal place to come down. There is nothing else in the middle of the desert. Service and food are very good. The hotel has slight signs of use but is so in good clean condition. Room cleaning works. The only drawback was the many flies by the pool.
We liked it very much. We'll go home in a relaxed morning.

Very spacious rooms, quite, very clean, friendly staff, and have nice food option, this hotel is perfect for getaway with family or group of friends, you can enjoy the desert atmosphere and just step out the hotel gardens and you are in the desert, kids can enjoy camel riding, also the hotel has very nice swimming pool and spa, the restaurants inside offers wide selection of dishes, also the breakfast is good. Forget roads that also free bicycles are available and you can enjoy biking around.

First impression was shocking. The patio furniture has been determined for 2 years no longer cleaned. Fully bitten and faded. In the room, the tiles are ceded and the joints are completely sifted. All furniture is tapped and would need to be replaced. No comparison to the pictures! After enough filtering and Photoshop, this looks dream. Dear 500 euros more pay to waive 1-2 days and head to Abu Dhabi or directly on to Thailand for the same money … Only the staff are totally friendly.
Update * * * The manager just came over and has apologised for any inconvenience. Did talk to me at length about all the details and ask for explicit improvements and offer me appropriate solutions. Very nice and courteous. Customer satisfaction is probably a top priority here. Am positively surprised. Therefore, there is the change to 4 stars. We were probably just unlucky with the room, but if the manager keeps his word, that will probably change quickly in the future. Thumbs up for the service.

A beautiful spot of earth! After spending several days in Abu Dhabi, it was a wonderful contrast program here!
Located in the middle of the desert. The view from the room is fabulous! The pool overlooking the desert is also very pleasant! We liked the food, only the desserts were not at the highest level compared to the previous hotel.
I can well imagine stopping in again! Thank you for your pleasant stay!

On the day of arrival there was an Oktoberfest by the pool with loud music and alcohol — unfortunately not what we had hoped for. There is no trace of peace and relaxation in the desert. We also first received a smoke-in room, although a non-smoking room was booked a long time in advance. It was also in the EC and thus did not have the promised desert view. On demand, we could swap the room. This was then okay only the air conditioner was broken and did not cool the room at all or to 17 degrees.
Service and food were rather poor and wildly wavering compared to other hotels in the UAE. The activities included in the package were unfortunately not per person but included per day.
Practical is the proximity to the camel racecourse here you can marvel at Friday and Saturday early morning races.
If we were to go to the great region in itself, we would certainly choose another hotel.

Very nice hotel in the middle of the desert. We drove from Abu Dhabi and it took us less than 3h to arrive there. Facilities are very good with a nice staff. The all inclusive offer allowed us to not worry about the cost of the food and drinks (including alcohol). This could be important because this hotel is really in the middle of nowhere. But this is its charm. Several activities and services are proposed : quad, camel riding, camel farm visit, spectral on the night, massage, spa, nany for your baby… Even if your budget does not permit you to spend on activities (these are extra and are not part of the all inclusive offers of the hotel) It is still ideal for relaxing for few days.

Great place for a relaxing weekend. The hotel has a beautiful sandy layout. Deep into the desert, however not remotely isolated. The surrounding structures spoil otherwise a beautiful scenic view of the desert. There is only one restaurant and the food is not that great.

Relished every minute of it! The decoration, the team, product used in the spa. Drinks available at very favorable prices, reliable class of service and very good environment. Value for money. Will come back again.

Some AC issues on arrival which they fixed immidetly. General ac problems in the Lobby and the prayer rooms. Food was great. Staff where polite. Swimming pool water was a bit cloudy and needed more filtration. Had a great message.

I recommend everyone to go for a staycation here. It has everything and it's in the middle of the dessert! Just breathtaking!

"Arabian Nights" atmosphere. Perfect Mood to fully enjoy all the beauty of the desert.

What a spectacle! … After two weeks of wandering around the Emirates we decided to get some rest… it was the best decision to stop at this amazing Hotel. Thanks to all the staff… wonderful… wonderful.

The Hotel itself is neat and clean! The rooms were great! Cleanliness was in order! Where there are many birds there must also be done anywhere in your business. All in All, in order, where you are lucky that must come no children's hordes. Then nothing is relaxing! Screaming kids full of Pool! Then you stay better in the room.

Rooms were clean and everything else was bad. The dunes outside the hotel are filthy, they gave us a different room than what I booked and were not helpful to fix it, more than 40 kids at the pool screaming from early morning, bad smells at the pool from the camel and quad bikes right next to us, the photos of Al Dhafra Oasis restaurant on the website are complete nonsense and they don't do barbeque as advertised, poor staff was overwhelmed and depressed, loud music at the pool and in the corridors even late at night when trying to sleep. Beautiful hotel, terrible management.

Could have been much more better. So we booked for valentine night and were looking to have a nice get away in the middle of desert. First of all it is very far, specially if you are traveling for Dubai, 3 hours to get there and the way is not fun! the service is not good, we arrived and we got delayed with check in! we had booked a package including dinner, exotic fruit platter and breakfast! exotic fruit platter was an apple, an orange and a banana! dinner was a mix of indian/ asian buffet and wasn't that great! break fast was a regular hotel breakfast, no bacon! overall the place is okay and the view is nice, but the service is crap and the place is overpriced!
