This was our second stay here and we wouldn’t think to stay anywhere else. Eva and Jimmy are the most gracious hosts. Anything you need, you just have to ask. Recommendations for meals, activities, etc are always good. We felt right at home. We looked forward to our morning chats with Eva during breakfast. Rooms are clean and spacious. While on Maui, this is the place to stay!

We stayed here for 3 nights out of our two week stay in Maui. We have to say this was our favourite out of the 5 places we experienced while on Maui. My first contact was with Eva who made the reservation process very easy. The website was so helpful in knowing what was offered at this B&B. Location — it is in a neighbourhood in the town of Kihei. This place is located 5 min drive from the beach and downtown shops/ restaurant area and 1 minute from the Piilani highway. Very e…asy to get to Wailea, Makena and Maalea. We explored all of these towns while staying here. The room — We stayed in the Papaya suite which was nice and spacious. Each suite has it's own parking space, separate entrance, and access to shared outdoor spaces. Our suite has a kitchenette, full washroom and queen bed. Breakfast — The breakfast is served on the upper lanai which has a gorgeous view of the mountains and ocean. Eva had full occupancy and it was so spacious it did not feel cramped. The breakfast was amazing and so many different options. Snacks and coffee are always offered throughout the day and the common space can be accessed any time. Eva gave us so many recommendations on what do on the island. She is an amazing lady. We wished we stayed here longer. Definitely recommending this to friends/ families and will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for our wedding on Maui. The rooms are decorated really cute, they are spacious and comfortable! There is an awesome breakfast every morning in the common area, greeted by the owner Ava, she is awesome! She is top notch! I love writing a great review, especially when it's for a place, a person, an experience. This place, person (Eva), and experience, is more than you can ask for. Comfortable, inviting, clean, quiet, all equal a good nights rest. Here is the breakfast view. What could be better. Not much.

My wife and me spend 3 nights at "What a wonderful world" and totally loved it! Eva and Jim treated us as a loved relative. The suites are so big and completes. We also loved Kihei! While most of the island was rainy, Kihei was completely sunny! Thank you!

It was a wonderful stay thanks to the very kind host Yvonne — We felt warm welcomed! Yvonne is such a warm hearted person like the sun in Maui. We got helpful information about what to do and where to go. She is so helpful! Our appartment was very clean, we got water and towels — also for the beach. The whole facility offers a lot to relaxe and enjoy!

Beautiful BnB, amazing host, I wish I stayed longer than one night, I felt like I have friends that live in Maui. Will definitely be returning and spending more days.

This is a lovely little B&B located in Kihei, just over a mile from the beach, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The continental breakfast is a definite highlight with lots of options. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Free Wi-Fi and laundry machines are also available. We have stayed here every time we've visited Maui, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

My sister Bridie and I recently stayed at What A Wonderful World and we loved it! Eva is such a darling… Welcoming us with a big, warm hug. The Accomidation was super clean. Beautiful rooms. Beach towels, snorkeling gear provided. When we had to get up early to fly out she prepared breakfast earlier for usBreakfast was superb! Every morning Eva asked us what our plans were for the day. She was interested, and keen to hear about our plans, and gave us great advice! Out of my w…hole trip to Hawaii… this b and b was my favourite Accomidation! A home away from home. Eva and Jim, and Darby and Chiller made it very special The only thing we found frustrating was everytime it got dark and we were driving home we got lost! Hahaha crazy New Zealands getting confused with street signs etc! We had a blast! Thanks for a beautiful stay. Even though NZ is a bit of a flight to Maui… I will return one day. Laura.

This is our first time in Hawaii and Jim and Eva were the best B&B host we've ever experienced they were so warm, welcoming and accomadating to our family, thought of EVERYTHING we could need during our stay to alliviate excessive costs and excellent yet inexpensive tourist guidance or our family on a budget. Like the other reviews say this beautiful home it's much last expenses the nearby hotels in the area and much more private. I will recommend this place to any and everybody there's no need to look any further for place to stay! The only issue was our stay was too short. Mahalo for everything!

Eva and Jim are not just the owners, they are family. It’s so hard to say goodbye and leave. We promise to be back sooner! The rooms are top notch. Breakfast is abundant and so good! We love love love this place and the people here. It’s super homey!

We are repeat guests of Eva and Jimmy's 'WWW B&B'! As a matter of fact, we can't even imagine visiting Maui without staying there. The house is beautiful, the lanai is spacious and welcoming and the guest rooms are clean are tastefully decorated with all the amenities we could need. Beach toys, towels, chairs, coolers and almost anything else you need for a day in the sun is provided. We don't even buy sunscreen anymore because there is a collection to choose from, courtesy of previous guests! Self-serve breakfast offers lots of selection of bagels, bread, croissants and other baked goods, along with sliced cheese and deli meats. There is always sliced pineapple, strawberries and incredibly delicious apple bananas (smaller and sweeter than normal bananas). I can go on and on about the wonderful features of this B&B, but the real gems of this place are the owners, Eva and Jimmy. I have rarely met anyone so big-hearted, genuine, easy-going and welcoming as these two! They go above and beyond to meet the needs of the individual guests and have lots of suggestions for activities, shows and must-dos around Maui. Many a day, they have sat with us and other guests on the lanai and shared easy conversation and laughter. They have truly become our family away from family.

We try to go to Maui every other year and we ALWAYS stay with Jim and Eva at What a Wonderful World Bed and Breakfast! They have everything you need for your stay and hanging out at the beach. They are long time residence and know the island very well. They always provide us with new things to do and go out of their way to check around for us on events and weather. If you've never been you must try this bed and breakfast! You will never experience customer service and true ALOHA until you stay here!

My experiences at WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD, bed and breakfast in Maui, Hawaii Aloha, I am taking my time to do this because people need to know about this place. I landed Maui on 3/19/18 at 7am. Got my car rental and I decided to go straight to this place, even though I was aware my checking time was after 2 pm. I was tired and I did not want to go anywhere before I took a short nap. I was greeted by Eva, the owner with a big hug and I was taken straight to the dining area. The view was spectacular from the dinning area. I will no take much time to speak about the looks of the place because as everywhere in Maui, this was magical and had everything you needed to live there like your own home. Eva fulfilled my every need from borrowing beach towels, a postcard stamp or just giving advices about best ways to use my time while in Maui. It was important for me to be in a place that was PEACEFUL. I felt right away I was at HOME with family. The price to me was amazing for everything that was included… from having breakfast, fruits/snacks available throughout the day, having access to the laundry and a Eva's support when needed. I definitely plan to go back again!

Eva was an awesome host and we had an incredible stay at What a Wonderful World Bed and Breakfast! The rooms were well appointed, clean, spacious and quiet. Separate towels are provided for the beach as well as beach-chairs and other amenities. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the dining room was INCREDIBLE! Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. This B&B is a true gem!

I can highly recommend What a Wonderful World B&B. I rented the Mango Suite for six nights, a roomy one bedroom apartment. Eva goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful beaches all around that area. I took a whale watching tour (do take an anti-nausea pill beforehand even if you think you won't need it! ) out of Lahaina, a charming town with a magnificent banyon tree shaded town square in which to hang out. (The gorgeous drive to Lahaina alone is worth it. ) You will feel welcome and at home if you stay at Eva and Jim's B&B.

We stayed in the Pineapple Suite for four nights in early March. The place was immaculate, the breakfasts were delicious, and the host, Eva, was very gracious and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful little bed and breakfast. The owners Eva and Jim are some of the nicest, most helpful people. We asked them about a snorkeling trip for the following day, and they suggested that we wait until later in the week due to the clouds that were expected to roll in the following day. The Mango suite is well appointed and charmingly cute.

Words cannot express how awesome Eva is as a host! This giant property is stunningly gorgeous and completely updated in a quiet neighborhood in south Kihei. Breakfast was awesome every morning and the overall value makes you want to stay longer!

This bnb is really a bargain. I love how when we arrived there was a posted sign welcoming us and directions to our room, with additional information about our stay within. No need to hunt anyone down to check in. It truly made the stay relaxing right from the start. Even the off the street parking put me more at ease. The room layout may possibly weird some people out. But it didn't really bother me. (The pineapple room, the main door way enters into the bathroom). The main room was really spacious and the floor to ceiling windows made the room feel bigger than it was. The cross breeze made it so you didn't need the ac, though it is there if you wanted. The travel guides found in the room were really helpful and the breakfast was really good, even though at first glance it might have looked like a typical Continental breakfast. The hosts are really friendly and quite helpful if you need anything. All in all, at a price much less than most hotels or condos in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again… And for a much longer stay.

My husband and I stayed 1 night at the end of our vacation and wished we had found them earlier. Eva was so lovely to chat with over breakfast and so helpful with great advice. They are well equiped with chairs and brollys and guide books. All you will need is to show up and relax. They held our bags for us as we had a night flight out and offered us a quick shower after spending our last day at the beach. I have already recommend them to my friends and can't wait to come back.

Eva and Jim, the couple that makes your holiday on B&B Wonderful World so heartful and delicious. All the time a great help and always the best answer to every problem you may have. Coffee and Snacks the whole day and always an open door policy as you will like it. On this way we will thank them for a wonderful holiday time on Maui Island. Like staying with family! This felt just like home. A hidden gem in Maui. Both the B&B and Jim, Eva and Yvonne. We'll be back!

Had a wonderful stay here! Place was clean and had everything we could have needed! Breakfast was delicious, great location, and free parking. Eva was super nice and even let us keep our luggage there an extra day after we checked out, as we were staying on a boat for a night and didn't feel comfortable leaving everything in our car! Will definitely return!

We stayed in two different rooms here. Both were beautifully furnished but Eva was the best feature of the entire stay. She was amazingly friendly and welcomed us with a hug. Always willing to recommend the best beaches, restaurants or adventures. We stayed in the guava sweet to start then moved to the pineapple sweet. The guava sweet was worth the upgrade. The room was nice and cool without the air conditioner and the garden was so lush. We will definitely be coming back again and again. I highly recommend staying here.

100% a must if you are staying in Maui. The owners are so kind and helpful, they've got boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, and sunscreen to make sure your beach experience is everything you want it to be. Our room was beautiful, and we even got an upgrade due to a better room being available during our stay (free! ). Huge windows and palm trees galore in the courtyard. A beautiful view that kept us from turning the TV on even when it's raining. The area where breakfast is served has a beach/ocean view, and we saw a whale while sipping our coffee! So cool. This place had me walking away saying "What a Wonderful LIFE! "

My wife and I had an amazing stay with hosts Eva & Jim at the What a Wonderful World B & B. So friendly, private yet inviting, accommodating, very comfortable bed, local knowledge & recommendations were perfect. While your not directly on a beach the price point makes it so worth while. You won't be disappointed.

We have become regular guests at this absolutely charming B&B! What makes this B&B extra special are the hosts, Eva and Jimmy, who are inviting, friendly and a wealth of information about the island! Mornings on the covered lanai are wonderful when you can sit and have your breakfast while chatting with the hosts and other guests. Eva is always willing to help you plan your day, make suggestions for things to do (no matter what the weather is), and point you to the best beaches, restaurants or points of interest. The rooms are beautifully decorated with lots of personal 'Hawaiian' touches to make you feel like you're on holiday (unlike renting a condo) and well-equipped with basic kitchen amenities, small fridge and microwave. Everything you need for a stay in Maui is available, from beach towels, chairs and guide books to coolers and body boards! Guests have access to a washer/dryer, extra linens and a bbq in the lush garden patio area. Location is great (Kihei), and while not right on the beach… access to the entire island (upcountry or by oceanfront) is very easy. It's also very nice to come 'home' to somewhere quiet and not in be the hub of tourists after a full day of adventure.

From the get go this was like staying with old friends, a big hug from Eva and a mi casa su casa vibe. The room I had was beautiful and spacious (Pineapple) and the breakfast spread in the mornings was fantastic. Chances are you'll have a car but I did a lot of walking which offset all the amazing food I was eating — the Taco Truck in the triangle was a favorite as was What Ales You for beers — if you're like me and travel with an adventure hammock, there's a perfect spot between 2 trees in the park right at the bottom of the hill overlooking the ocean. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

A beautiful equipped condo/Studio, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Beach and restaurants are not far qway, can be reached by walking. Kihei is the best place to explore the island. Ecluded beaches are also not far away.

What a beautiful place, so homey an lovely. In a perfect location, clean and serene. We really look forward to returning! You can feel the love they put into this place and its so very nice. Mahalo!

The whole experience was fantastic. Eva made us feel right at home. The rooms are just splendid and clean. The bed was comfy and bathroom and shower very nice. Breakfast was top notch and was left open for use later in the day. The whole yard was beautifully landscaped and was only half mile from the top beach. We could not have been more pleased. We will be back.

We loved our 3 night stay in this lovely Bed and Breakfast. Eva was a wonderful hostess who provided excellent breakfasts each morning and was always easily accessible for help or questions. We loved the outdoor deck where we had breakfast. At our request, she told us about a beach favored by "the locals" and we enjoyed our beach day there — — a perfect beach! We were delighted to use the on-site laundry facilities since we were half way into our trip when we arrived. We would highly recommend this B & B!

I've been to Maui 4 times and my fifth time is coming up. Once again we are staying with Jim and Eva at Wonderful World B & B. This time 4 family members will also be staying here. Lovely hospitality with quiet peaceful tropical garden surroundings. Always made to feel welcome and very much at home.

This B&B is perfect if you're looking for a more low key option in the South part of Maui! It's location is perfectly situated to see all the amazing beaches in the area and makes for a perfect hub to go snorkeling and diving. Eva and Jim were very kind hosts! The room was very spacious, albeit a bit dark, but otherwise very lovely. The breakfast patio was a wonderful space to eat and plan our days.

I always stay at this wonderful B&B whenever on Maui because of the unique combination of privacy, tropical ambiance, fantastic location, and warm welcoming owners Eva & Jim. I travel often for business, so I have stayed at many hotels and B&B’s. Check-in is most wonderful here because Eva simply leaves a nice personalized note at the entryway welcoming you and directing to your suite. You simply bring your bags in to your suite and start relaxing while planning adventures. This is how all places should do it. So far I have stayed in the Mango, Pineapple, and Papaya suite and they are all REALLY nice. The Suites, Courtyard, and upper Lanai for breakfast all have a nice tropical touch, so you really feel like you are in Hawaii. This is easily the best B&B on Maui in the $130-$180/night range.

I've been to Maui many times and stayed at various places including the Westin. NEVER did I enjoy my stay as much as I did here at WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD!. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that it is a MUST that we stay here again.
