The Cliffs of Princeville sits right above the ocean in a gorgeous setting! The pool and hot tubs are surrounded by beautiful tropical foliage. We enjoyed swimming under the waterfalls and soaking in the hot tubs. The rooms are very nice with balconies and/or patios and very spacious. We really appreciated the beach towels, plus the lawn chairs and the cooler. This is the first timeshare I have ever stayed at that provided those in the room. Thank you — it made our trip to the beach so much nicer!

Thank you to the Management at the Cliffs for finding space for us when we arrived to Kauai to find our resort closed! Your property is beautiful, your rooms spacious and staff is supper friendly! We would definitely look to stay here again!

Love it here. This is our second time back. Its peaceful and relaxing. Grounds are amazing to walk. Pool area is beautiful.

The Cliffs is a nice quiet 4 star resort. Nice pool and clean rooms. Attentive staff (thanks Mark/Go Seattle) and updated kitchen (next the bathrooms). Check out the nightly food trucks (Brickfired Pizza yum).

Great laid back atmosphere with lots of kid friendly activities. The staff is amazing, make you feel like you are family. Just a jewel of a place. I didn't even get to the part about watching whales blow while grilling out!

Quiet. Beautiful stylish apartments, front and back lanai, with all the modern conveniences. Large TVs with Satellite, Wifi, the one bdrm has two full baths, w/d, all appliances. Stunning views. Grounds are immaculate. Putting green, small pool and hot tub, tennis, lots of parking. Friendly funny staff with beautiful singing voices (kareoke). Lots of Avian friends (chickens, roosters, doves, NeNes, Geese, Cardinals, sparrows and many many others. Also geckos. ) If you want a change from the rat race o f the usual commercial tourist traps, go to The Cliffs for rest and rejuvenation Prices are super reasonable too!

The rooms are clean, supplied with everything you need; the staff are friendly and helpful; the pool & grounds and clean and beautiful; I feel safe here! It is so beautiful here. The views of the ocean are amazing and sunsets take your breath away. The rooms are well taken care of and the people here are so nice. Love being here. Feels like my second home.

Great condos and great amenities, plus the perfect climate mahalo.

I've owned here for several years now. The staff is always top notch and helpful. The grounds are beautifully kept and the condo is always spotless. I love that The Cliffs is a class act yet not at all stuffy and pretentious. It is Kauai.

They do NOT have A/C! Unbelievable! I live in Canada where we have winter for 6 months of the year and even I have A/C! This is so disappointing! The rooms are beautiful and well stocked but I won’t be able to enjoy it because It is so CRAZY hot! We are here for 16 days this is our second week and second resort. We have family staying at other resorts and out of all of them this is the only one without A/C! Even all the shops you go into on the island have A/C! There are no excuses! Just cut corners!

Staff is wonderful, helpful, and informative. They really want you to have an amazing time and have different events happening around every day. The pool is lovely, though a bit on the smaller side. Rooms are large and have almost everything you need for your stay, including full sized shampoo and conditioner. On the other hand, there is no air conditioning in the rooms which takes some getting used to. The promised events usually occur but not always when they are supposed to. It's also a little far from most things as it's on the north side and that's its biggest flaw. Overall, a great place to stay in Kauai.

We love this place. We have 6 of us from ages 12 to 51 and it is perfect for us. We are your fairly typical, midwest family. The condos are nice, clean and sufficiently stocked with kitchen and bath needs. There are 2 pools and one is for adults only. It has been quiet (no rowdy guests) and they have activities daily in the bldg by the pool (a lady showed us how to make lei's today hands-on and there was going to be a beer and wine tasting event later this evening with a local musician entertainment). I would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cliffs. Fourth time to Princeville and thought the resort tried really hard to make stay most enjoyable. Mia was very and warm hearted as opposed to robot like service personnel we all know. Adult pool though small was just right and jacuzzi was clean and right temp. We chose the non updated room 4107 and had a great view of ocean and short walk to see sunset. Beer and wine night was a nice offering to guests and owners. We met Mike and Penny who own their and told them we would stay at The Cliffs again. They are great people to get to know.

Amazing stay! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The condo was spacious and clean for the most part. For those with negative reviews for no ac, that's the point on Hawaii. Word to the wise, if you don't book tours before you come immediately go to the conceirege for information. They are knowledgeable and work hard to give you an amazing experience while staying on Kauai. We will be back soon for sure! As the 5 stars show, we loved it.

Pretty easy to find. The rooms are fantastic, they could be a little more sound proof but it's not to bad if you don't have noisy neighbors. The views are AMAZING, I have never seen anything like it before. The ocean is right there, the wildlife is everywhere. And the service is really nice, all the employees are super nice and willing to help with whatever. I would love to come back and stay here again!

What a beautiful place to spend my time on the island of Kauai. The staff was incredibly nice, particularly the front desk staff and the maintenance man. They gave us suggestions on stuff we could do around the island. I especially liked the location on North Shore, as Princeville is very beautiful and there are many nice beaches close by. I hope to return here every year for the rest of my life.

We were fortunate to get a unit with spectacular view of the ocean. (#7302) Not all units have this so be sure to ask. We are on the third floor with no elevator. And the second bedroom is an upstairs loft. Both bathrooms are on the main floor. Not great for anyone with bad knees. There's a nice pool, putting green, tennis courts, a small gym, and a few daily activities. NONE of the units have A. C. Fortunately, in April it's not too hot and the ocean breezes help. NO walkable beaches. The beds are all very hard and uncomfortable. And the pillows are flat as pancakes. The concierge, Priscilla is very helpful with maps and other info about the island.

The room was clean and comfortable with a pretty veiw of the jungle. As a hotel The Cliffs are like any other however the reason that I will always come back here is for the service. Suzy was absolutely amazing, she accommodated every request we had and went above and beyond. Thank you for making our trip so memorable and fun Suzy!

I love this place! The renovations are phenomenal. I love all the new changes. I prefer Princeville for vacationing due to its community, proximity to restaurants and activities such as snorkeling, horseback riding, ziplining, and hiking. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. The property is well kept. I find the 1-bedroom/ 2 bath condo exceptional as it is spacious, has a full kitchen and a washer & dryer.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon through my in laws time share. We were lucky to have a suite with an ocean view and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The suite was clean and well taken care of. The pools were clean and nice! If we get the opportunity to use the time share again, we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful condos with best views from the cliffs overlooking the Pacific ocean. Comfortable roomy with full kitchen, two baths, wide screen TVs, and fast Wi-Fi. Wonderful grounds overlooking the Pacific. Located among many beautiful properties and the nearby golf course.

Room was nice. No view of the ocean but still nice surroundings. Very friendly staff. I liked the get togethers with the others staying on property. I would gladly stay there again.

The rooms are fully equipped apartments with two bathrooms, one large bedroom and a sleeper sofa. Two out patios. Perfect for families. The kitchen is great to cook in and there is a washer and dryer. The Cliffs is a great place for a 7 day stay. I will be back again.

What a fantastic place! Amazing rooms with all amenities possible, communal grills, pools… The only thing we sort of miss is a bar ;)

Beautiful resort with excellent rooms appliances up to date and in great working order. Beds are stiff but comfortable. We stayed at 5307 and the bathroom light on the master suite is out called maintenance still not fixed a day later.

Nice view of ocean from some condos, and off green area with seats to relax on. Condos large, one bedrooms have 2 full baths, large master bedroom, and large dining/living room. Kitchen has lots of useful appliances and supplies. Free washer/dryer in units, firm seat cushions, memory foam mattress which is on firm box springs. Double lanais with seating. Relaxing place with plenty of natural and artificial lights (for night), plus plenty of outlets and one humongous TV and one regular sized. Plenty of organized activities both at resort for free or fee, plus connections with outside merchants. Nice place to hang for a week, allowing you to see the Northside and hike the trails up here. Rains a lot more than South part, but has its own beauty.

Condo rooms are nice but accommadations are lacking. No room service (food wise). For the week we were here, room was only serviced once. Like I said room was nice and spacious but I feel overall the service was not up to par.

One of the best taken care of "ocean facilities" we've stayed at. Very comfortable and clean. My wife loved not coming back to cold air conditioned room.

Location and views are unmatched. Pool and workout room were small but clean. Not resort but more like typical apartment pool. Grounds were clean.

We have been coming here for years! Feeling very blessed and happy to be a condo owner at this lovely cozy community called "The Cliffs". The staff is wonderful… the grounds are beautiful and full of gorgeous vegetation. The view of the Pacific from the edge of the property is breathtaking! This is our happy place.

Only note to improve on, wish the kitchens had better quality cooking pans and utensils. Just a personal preference. We are always happy to stay here and enjoy vacation with family. This year got two rooms.

We have been owners of three weeks of timeshare at thenClifs since 1987. We have seen the resort at its lowest and highest. We are ending our annual three week stay here today and I must say everything We saw and experienced during our stay at the Cliff's was top shelf. The staff is the very best, the grounds crew is tireless and meticulous. They can not be more friendly or helpful. … We are so happy we own here and hope that you can maintain this standard for years to come. Our hats off to management and staff.

Great views and good service. Pull out bed on the couch was unusable. Free events at night have been great. Free Mai Tais for instance, that were better than expected.

We've only been here for two days, but we love it! There are so many things to do and see, not sure where to start. The room Is clean, everything we need for a weeks stay is included. The pool is fabulous. Its just perfect.

Beautiful rooms, beautiful pool, and close enough to see the ocean. Great driving up and down, and only an hour away from the Southern coast. Really nice place to stay.

So far I am amazed. Excellent location, great and spacious furnished rooms, great customer service.

Very helpful people, and the room was fantastic. Dodnt have a view, which is understandable. But it smelled great, everything worked. No complaints.

The shower doesn't seem to go past a certain point of temperature so it makes for a rather warm shower other wise it's a pretty nice place to stay with a great view.

What a great place to stay. Had a booking problem but they were able to work it out to everyone's satisfaction. Excellent rooms, clean grounds, great view, friendly staff. My wife is still crying because we are not there. Had an adults only hot tub. Nice to not have little ankle biters bothering you while you are trying to relax. Hope to return soon. Chuck Carney.

Such a beautiful spot on Kauai. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cliffs. Well equipped 1 bed condo with everything needed for a beach escape; full kitchen, washer and dryer along with an idyllic sea view. Lovely pool area and tennis court, you can even have a free scuba lesson in the pool! The beautiful north shore is a great place to base yourself and explore. Beautiful beaches, a great selection of restaurants and shops. Highly recommend the Napali Coast tour with Holo Holo Charters and a drive to see the magnificent Waimea Canyon.

Pretty nice timeshare condo. We got a great deal from Travelzoo: $459 for 3 nights. Pros: * Spacious rooms * Kitchen * Quiet atmosphere. * 2 full bathrooms. * Great pool area. Loved the waterfalls going into the pool! Cons: * Sort of dark, 1970s ambiance inside our rooms (building 1). * Very dark, lighting is not adequate. Lots of rooms don't have ceiling-mounted lights. * Could hear people on the ceiling in the unit above us. They weren't being noisy, the floor is just thin.

Loved this place! 7 say stay is pure paradise. Great amenities including grills, pool, tennis courts, concierge, and lots more. The views are spectacular and the environment is clean and refreshing. If you are looking to stay in a condo, with a great view stay here.

We stayed in this gorgeous VRBO condo for our 10-day trip to Kauai Dec. 23-Jan 1. It was so amazing waking up every morning, walking out on the balcony and watching the whales as they came into the warm tropical waters. We rented 4 bedrooms. The master bed was horribly uncomfortable. The burner on the stove didn't work. Those were my only complaints. We loved the clean Princeville area and the grounds for The Cliffs are just fabulous. We did not take advantage of all the events or activities that The Cliffs offered because there was so much to do on the island. Recommend staying at The Cliffs during your trip to Kauai to EVERYONE.

Seriously comfy beds, clean, well kept, quiet, spacious rooms, sweet chickens. The staff is helpful and kind. The extra weekly fee was a surprise to the tune of $110, yes even if you don't use wi fi etc you have to pay the extra fee — which varies. We have stayed in other condos on the island and thus fat this is our favorite. No ac but none needed in July. Highly recommend this for comfort.

Wonderful location, beautiful views; close to great beaches (not on) ; a great, quite, get away. Probably my 20th visit, it does rain here, but frequently it's just short change of pace. My favorite beach (Anini; don't tell anyone) is a few miles away. The Cliffs is a great resort, very underated IMHO.
