Great ocean front location.

Stayed for almost a month and couldn’t have been happier. Planning on going back next fall and can’t wait. Great location between Lydgate Park and golf course so feels more isolated than some of the other resorts. Because of the walking path, it is a easy hike into town with shopping and good restaurants. We were on the third floor, beachfront and the sunrise was beautiful every day.

Such a lovely relaxing place, beautiful well maintained gardens. Quiet, except for the rolling waves and Roosters.
Just love it here, could stay forever.

Great place to stay, supper friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Great rates, clean condos, and well maintained grounds.

The amenities are pretty basic. Everything u need to take care of your family. But the view and the energy coming from the ocean is worth a million dollars. The cool ocean breeze is heavenly. Staying here while working. To wake up and get your day started with a view like this is greatly appreciated. Not really a good beach for kids swimming but affordable. You can drive to another beach to swim with the kids.

We’ve stayed on both Maui and Kauai multiple times, and have always stayed at the Kaha Lani because of its beautiful views, but the last 3 times we’ve stayed have been awful. The first time, we were promised and paid extra for an “ocean view” condo, that we didn’t receive. The second time, we again requested an “ocean view” condo, this time we did get, but the checkout time is 10:00 am. We moved everything out of the condo by 10:00 am but couldn’t get to the airport right away due to the size of our rental car. We were bullied to leave the condo and stay on the porch by the maids, because God forbid we even stand inside while we waited for the car. We are creatures of habit, however, and gave Kaha Lani one last shot the last time we were in Kauai. Mind you, Kaha Lani charges a $180 cleaning charge when you stay, but does not even have daily maid service like other condos in the area. On our last day, we spent our vacation time cleaning the condo anyway, but once we got home our credit card was charged with another $50 cleaning fee on top of the $180 already charged. Now, I work in property management, and I know an extremely dirty, filthy condo that has been lived in for months and has damages is worth $150 to clean AT THE MOST. We left a couple of trash bags (which is not insane to expect a maid to take out), and a couple of dirty towels that simply required washing.

Place is dated and desperately needs upgraded. That said, the 200 nightly rate (including all taxes/fees) for a good sized, 1 bedroom condo with ocean view is tough to rate lower. If the location was not so outstanding, the review would be 2 stars max.

The location on the beach is already very nice, if not as much driftwood were washed up. The rooms are in an overhaul.

Love this place! Top unit 303, Quiet and absolutely breathtakingly beautiful view! No need for air conditioning as the ocean breeze is AMAZING. I give 5 stars because it's totally beautiful and would definitely stay again, but an updated bed and more hot water would make it even better :-)

Kaha Lani is a great place to stay and is very centrally located to stores, shops, beaches, and hikes. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and atmosphere of this great resort. Traveled with my wife and some adult friends, but this is a place that is ideal for all ages.

We have an ocean view room and it is beautiful. Our room was immaculate and has a full kitchen. They gave us 1.5 bath which is always helpful and it has a spacious living area. I would stay here again.

The view from the room has been beautiful and the service has been great! The room is great, would stay here again.

Beautiful place, right along the beach. Peaceful and tranquil. The aminities were perfect for a family of six. I would choose to stay ther there again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful location and amenities. Pool is nice. Mattresses are in need of upgrading. Twin beds are SHORT. Had bottom unit, upstairs unit was EXTREMELY noisy. Had 3 different neighbors, all sounded like a herd of elphants.

The rooms were nice and opened up to a really nice beach.

The staff here ALWAYS go out of their way to make our stay here fabulous experience. The condos themselves are very nice and exceptional. This is our 3rd time staying here and we recommend the property Castle Kaha Lani to everyone we talk to about our stay on the beautiful island of Kauai!

Great views of nearby beach, nice pool. 4 washers and dryers on site. Had minimal contact with office staff but they were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Quiet location. No problems whatsoever!

Due to an error in their system they lost our reservation, but the staff was happy to clean it up quickly and compensate us for our trouble! The whole place was clean and the location was beautiful! The only complaint I have was that it is a little too far out of town to walk to anything besides the Hilton for a place to eat.

Then you get to your room and the room is designed in the 1970s carpeted basement style with no air conditioning. I enjoyed this place, but I felt that Castle Resorts was misleading in their description.

Good location on the island, only 10 minutes to the airport very clean all well furnished, incl BBQ.

My mom stayed her for the week of her visit! Super quiet. Right off of the bike path near Lydgate. Great ocean views. Grills in the pool area. Everything she could have needed and more.

3 star accommodation. A little dated but great value for money. Great family units with full kitchen, lounge and dining. Awesome pool and access to beach. Kids park 2 min walk away. On the windy side of island which is great for temp. Regulation but no air con in the units. Close to all shops either in Lihue or Kapa'a. Great value for money.

This was an ideal place for us. This is a condo stay not a hotel stay. Great independent place, Its like living there in your own place. My kind of experience! "April" at the front desk was a breath of fresh air she was great. Our condo had it all, great view, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and tons of useful items, boogie boards, beach bags etc… Security was friendly and on the job keeping an eye on guest safety. We would stay here again and again a great place.

Best value by far. Kitchen is setup nicely so you can save money and cook some of your meals. Bed is comfortable and has a ceiling fan if you need some cooling. Location is very close to snorkeling and much more.

Large room, very friendly and helpful staff (castle and Kauai vacation rentals) beach is not swimmable but the condos are easily within walking distance of Lydgate. Great clean BBQ/pool area that is wonderfully lit and night.

Stayed there in 2013. Awesome time, and beautiful views. Can't wait to go again.

Unit 217 is a very comfortable for 6 to stay in. Great view, and close to the airport. There is a tennis court but you'll need your own racket.
