The hotel is showing it's age a bit but it has a friendly staff that is very service oriented. When I asked for De-caf coffee, I was asked if I'd be at breakfast the next day so they could put out an urn of de-caf at the start of breakfast. The pool is in good shape but old enough to still have a 10 ft. Diving area if not a diving board. It's got grills by some of the exit doors to allow guest to grill their dinners. Do check out the boot store at the bottom of the hill leading up to the hotel.

Great customer service. Friendly staff. We're definitely going to stay there again.

Dump. What an effing dump. 100 bucks for an econo lodge that had pu ic hair all over that bathroom floor as wells as clothing tags on the beds. Which say no one cleaned this room. Also say your with the gas and oil company and its 40 bucks cheaper. Shame on this place especially for people who use their facilities constantly. 6 stays in 3 m onths at choice hotels and considering never going back. Shame on this dump here in tridelphia wv.

I don’t know if I can even give them a no star rating? but if I can that would be to good for this place. Literally sh** piles in the toilet and Wi-Fi didn’t work, TV was staticky and barely had any channels. When I told them I wasn’t staying there I packed my things and went to get my money back. The guy at the desk said a manager would give me my money in the morning. So I returned the following morning to get my refund and they charged me for the room and said I stole a lamp. Charged me 75 dollars for a lamp I didn’t steal and 75 for the night I didn’t stay. Worst experience i’ve ever had.

The positives about this hotel/motel are; 1. The swimming pool — It is well maintained and clean. Good sized outdoor pool. The temp was between 81-83. Which is perfect. 2. The staff are very friendly and courteous. They go out of there way to help you. 3. The breakfast is decent. Has all your usual… muffins, toast, bagels and biscuits. Eggs and two waffle making machines. Juices and coffee. The lady organizing and working the breakfast area did an amazing job. There was 3 baseball teams and she had her work cut out for her and she was on top of everything. Restocking the food and juices in a timely manner. Negatives: The hotel/motel is showing it's age and is in need of a makeover. The hallway carpet transitions are put together with duck tape and some of the tape is peeling off. The carpet at the top of the main entrance stairs and in other areas are fraying. The parking lot needs to be re-paved as it has many pot holes… some fairly big and annoying to drive through. In our room the bathroom door was coming off its hinge and we could not fully shut the door. We had to push it back into the hinge to close the door. I meant to take a picture and forgot. We had bathroom soap that was left in the soap holder from the previous guest. Cobb webbs were in the bathroom corner above the toilet. The TV remote only the down channel button was working. The beds were somewhat comfortable. If staying I would recommend a 1 or 2 night stay.

Checked in, lady at front desk was slow but nice. Got to our room, bedding was gross toilet would not stop running. Had an odd smell in room. Will not be returning. Went straight back out and checked in somewhere else.

Wonderful place to stay and wonderful people who work there. Had a pleasant stay there they made it feel like home.

Not a 3 star location as billed. Housekeeping started rounds about 7:30 am yelling up and down hallway to each other the loudly playing inappropriate music up and down the hallway. Floors were sticky. Good shower. Good breakfast.

Stay here every year for the past 10-12 years the last week of September, pool is not open then. But great staff. And breakfast.

Showed up this morning for a safety meeting for a job in the area. Asked the superintendent of my crew if we was allowed to get breakfast and he said yeah. I ate, then when safety guy came in he said they said something about a few of us eating and we wasn't supposed to. Breakfast serve time was about over. So what you think they will do with all that food. How much you think they throw away. Come on people get over yourselves. What you guys should be doing is taking that food to some homeless people. Even if you can reuse the food that wasn't setting out which I doubt you can due to health concerns you should put it to good use. Maybe I should call the health department. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. I am sure you didn't let us use the conference room for free.

Very courteous front desk staff. Pet friendly which is a plus. Clean rooms. Great price.

I struggled in rating this hotel. The continental breakfast was amazing for what I expected (eggs, biscuits, gravy, waffles, etc). The staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms, however, need some better maintenance. The bed moved too much. The thing that brought the rating down most was the lack of hot water. If you want hot water, shower in the morning. There is little to no hot water in the evening.

Dirty disgusting place. Walls are falling and cracking furniture looks like it was pulled out of a dumpster. No that furniture would be cleaner. Staff were unprofessional. Pool was closed. Place was a mess. Would not go here again. Once was a enough to regret.

I've been staying at this hotel for over a month for work. It is not a very clean hotel what so ever. It is extremely dirty. The lobby is the cleanest part of the hotel. The "maids" are very lazy and cut corners. They never thoroughly clean my room, or change my sheets. The water is not always warm, I've taken quite a few ice showers in my time here. Also, alot of labor workers stay here and they ALL smoke in their hotel rooms so the hotel constantly reeks of smoke, and comes into my room. Although, it is a non smoking facility. These are the daily things you will deal with if you stay here. The breakfast is the only thing I look forward to in staying here, also the price.

My take away: Cheap and old. The staff is great. The food can be better. Don't go here if you not a humble human.

It was clean, very quiet, staff was courteous. Beautiful atmosphere.

Rooms are nice, but hotel is badly in need of updating. Large windows let in noise and bright parking lights. Halls are dark, dingy and smell of old cigarette smoke. Breakfast selection was poor and coffee was cold. Would have paid a few more dollars for a nicer hotel. Picked this hotel as it was pet friendly.

Nice lobby and great breakfast. Cleanliness could use some work, and the hotel rugs in spots need to be replaced. Not the worst place I've ever slept, but not the best either. Cheap though!

Staff was polite and helpful. The facility itself could use some updates/small repairs. Also the room we rented smelled a little like smoke even though it is a non-smoking facility.

Got to the room, looked very clean and tidy. Went out for a day of shopping, came back to the room & my husband took a shower, the shower does not drain well at all. Pulled down the blankets and the comforter had blood on it, (from a previously guest who may of had a cut I would assume), almost like they didn't wash the bed linens. Went down and had new linens brought up & was not able to get a new comforter because there wasnt any clean. So we slept with sheets and a small thin throw blanket that they had for us. Staff was very friendly about our issues and the breakfast was decent. You get what you pay for here.

The staff is friendly and Joyce (manager) was awesome. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great.

It's a bit hard to spot at night, but the Econo Lodge has a decent view during daylight. Rooms were good, no bugs, dirt or any other issues. It's not fancy, but it's safe and clean.

One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in but no in room coffee and breakfast was horrible. Dried biscuits and watered down old gravy. Eggs were dry and sausage under cooked.

Still staying here going on 2wks. No hot water in the sink and the pool filters needs to be on to keep the pool cleaner other then that I can complain…

We went in to get information about booking for my wedding. The front desk worker was amazing and even let us go into the suite to see if it was good for us. We booked right away! It's very nice on the inside, nice pool outside, plenty of magazines and information about Wheeling. Only downside is that they don't have an elevator and our suite is on the second floor, which will make it a little difficult for our grandparents to visit our room.

Decent hotel especially considering the price. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly staff. Allowed me to get some much needed rest during an extensive road trip. Continental breakfast was included. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is older, but it's nice. I think it's popular with out of town workers and truck drivers, but we still had a nice stay. The bed was really comfortable and we had a great stay.

The shower drain was a little clogged and the breakfast was sort of meh but the bed was comfy and the staff was friendly.

The rooms were clean. The staff was not very helpful. We kept getting locked out of our rooms and they would have to rekey us. When some of our group ask questions about the directions, they were not very helpful.

A lot of truck drivers and contractors use the hotel. Good breakfast, not a lot of stores or anything in the area but just a couple of miles down the road are plenty of restaurants and stores. Pool is outside so it's seasonal. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I never saw a room with the sink at the door. This place has that. It's a very nice comfortable hotel. They serve breakfast and their staff and housekeeping staff are very friendly. I will come here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Comfortable beds with flat screen TVs. They are pet friendly but too high… 25 per pet per night, which is ridiculous. Nice and big place with a lounge.

They are doing some remodeling to the hotel right now. It was a very peaceful nights stay. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very basic. The bar was not open. It only opens if the hotel is at least half full. During my stay, maybe 10 rooms at the most were booked.

This is about the nicest Econo Lodge that I've stayed in. It is currently under remodeling but it is still clean and quiet. The breakfast is good but minimalist. Obviously not a high end hotel, but pretty good.

This is pretty good for an econo lodge. Probably the best I have been to. However, it is not an econo lodge, so it's not going to be the Ritz.

Extremely accommodating management, I'll frequent here often.

This was the best hotel we have stayed at in years. 1 — the security cameras were phenomenal. 2 — the customer service at the front desk that night was awesome! 3 — the breakfast. Bacon! this hotel is the only hotel we found bacon at during our long 2 week long cross country trip! (can you believe that, every where else had sausage or nothing lol) Had pool table, gym and popcorn maker but we got in too late to want to use anything lol. We heard from the front desk there was a cook open until 10p, that would have been great if we needed it. Thank you again very much.

Very low budget hotel. We had to make a quick stop on our way home and we got what we paid for.

Filthy moldy mildew invested hole. My heater/A/C unit has rotten potatoe chips in it and had 1/4" of dirt and mildew on the screen. Been trying to get it cleaned for 3 days now and the staff doesn't care. The breakfast will have you running for the toilet all day and the selection doesn't change. I'm in a non smoking room but it reeks of old cigarettes. The carpet is red but it's brown from dirt around the bat r of every wall. Mold in the shower and around the toilet. The bottom of the inside of the toilet bowl is brown from never being cleaned right. I've been here a week and every day I wake up sicker and sicker.

Great price and amenities while on the road.

I've been staying here for 10 days at a time due to work related travel. The rooms are clean and bright, and the location is amazing — right off of 70, and less than 5 minutes from lots of food and shopping choices. However, the staff is the best part. The front desk personnel are amazing. Very accomodating, friendly, and personable. They help make a long stay away from home a lot more bearable.
