It has very nice people here and the rooms are very nice. I see me coming back soon.

Did not have power n and when asked about sending us some where else or for a discount she got very rude with us u couldnt do anything except sit in the room n we paid $70.56 like for real like we didnt even get told about the power being out until we paid it had a nice room n comfy bed but the staff was rude n disrespectful.

We booked a king room and when we got here the women at front desk was very rud and told us they didn't have king rooms hotel very old water and mildew stains on ceiling and walls hallways stink and very small room the worst room I ever stay in.

The Restaurant was great service and food. However, that is where the good reviews end and the bad reviews begin. To start, the washers and dryers are broken and do not work but will take your money. Also, I am not sure about all rooms but, our room has stained carpets and sheets. Finally, for all you pet owners, if you do a weekly stay or more, they will have you sign off the weekly charge and not include the daily pet fee with it. Therefore, the $106 a week pet fee is withdrawn 4 to 5 days later unbeknownst to you. They will fool you to make money. Overall, not a place I will ever stay at again and I dont recommend this hotel to anyone!

Decent hotel. If I visit WV again I would try a different one though. The hallway smelt faintly of smoke, probably from a time smoking rooms were a thing. We ordered a room with a queen bed and it was a double. Additionally, the toilet was broken so we had to manually fill it each time. The pool was algae filled and closed. On the plus side, the room was good sized, clean, and breakfast was great.

The pool was green. There were bugs in the hallway. The carpet in the rooms were nasty and turned your feet and socks black. No exhaust fan in the bathrooms. Some of the workout equipment didn't work. I wouldn't recommend this Clarion Inn to anyone. The front desk people were the only good thing about the stay. They were very nice and did what they could with issue.

Room was clean. Service was nice. Pool was out of service which was one of the reasons we picked here. Got the room for 80 a night so cant complain too much. Breakfast was really good too.

I honestly enjoyed it. The pool was nice. The hotel room was also nice. The hallways spooked me a bit but that's because I watch too much Ghost Adventures. Anyway! Visiting here wasn't so bad.

Room was just dirty. Bits of broken glass on bathroom floor, crud on room floor. Stayed for 4 nights and was never vacuumed. One lamp had switches broken off. Was greeted at the front check in door by a large group of drunks who were smoking. Uugghh. No elevator. Hot and cold water taps in bathroom sink were reversed. What? We left with bug and/or spider bites. Awful experience. You could not pay me enough to stay here again.

The rooms are very nice, great beds, and the extremely clean. Rosella checked me into my room and was very polite and personable! So glad we stayed here, and nowhere else. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling the highway and looking for a nice place to stay the night.

Fairmont, West Virginia Good location Hot breakfast excellent, beds comfortable. Could have been a little quieter.

Seems like most hotel forget to upkeep air conditioning units, noisy, only one fan working and unit blocked by your table. Winter time here. Beside AC, need to mention that front desk wasn’t very help, asked for Credit card without explanation, personnel at front desk need more service training. Rooms need some update, and carpet need to be shampoo. Not bad for the money but still a hotel.

Black mold everywhere. Stains on carpets of some kind of bodily fluids. Smells like animal urine or something. No elevator or cart for luggage. Wouldn’t recommend staying here. Smells like cigarettes are being smoked inside the building, in the hallways. Strange smell in lobby, almost like sewage or something.

Nice hotel for the money! Clean room, nice kitchenette.

Had hot breakfast. Eggs and sasages. Good bed and pillows. Room need to be updated. Staff was friendly.

The staff here is absolutely phenomenal! This is an older building but the was extremely clean, the staff weren't above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I have it four starts only because they could use some updating but I would stay here again when visiting the area.

My stay here was great. I could tell that the hotel itself was dated and some things needed tending to however the staff more than made up for what the hotel was lacking.

They are the best place to stay at. Food really good. Bar drinks are a little pricy.

The Clarion Inn is a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. They have done an excellent job in keeping up with today's fast paced society.

Location was convenient off the highway. Older rooms. Clean rooms, but smelled strange (like running a vacuum with a full bag) which didn't take too long to acclimate. The breakfast was standard with the exception that the server obviously worked very hard to try to keep up with the consumption of food.

Room that I'm in is very clean very organized Food & vending machines are closed and a lovely workout room I wish they had an indoor pool but it's an outdoor one.

Has the amenities of a 3 star hotel (pool, fitness center, free breakfast, restaurant on site, etc) but the quality is NOT up to 3 star standards. The whole place was old and dingy, the room had peeling paint and old stained furniture, and the breakfast was inedible. I hate to be so negative, and we didn't have any problems with the staff, but I would definitely not stay here again.

This place is filthy. There are fluid stains all over the carpet. I say fluid because there's no telling if its animal urine (this room smells atrocious) or bodily fluid. The shower is caked with mold. Its inexpensive and convenient to the highway, but not worth it.

Hotel was not handicapped accessible, we had to carry my daughter In her wheelchair up a flight of stairs and I almost dropped her on our way out while in my wedding gown. Horrible experience!

Five stars for the super friendly and helpful staff. The scrambled eggs and sausage links in the included breakfast were amazingly good. Thank you for having the breakfast out a little early for our group all week!

Its good hotel staff was good in servics in hotel and hotel was clean nd tidy a food was amzing in hotel and refer to friend.

Okay, this isn't the Ritz, but a suitable place to stay for budget minded travelers. The room I had was vrry clean, and included two "full-size" beds, microwave, cooktop range, full fridge/freezer, and large flat screen TV, plus table with two chairs. Bath was clean and stocked with suitable bath and hand towels as well as wash cloths. A free breakfast is offered, plus they have a restaurant in house if you don't care to go out. I didn't use either so I can't comment on value or taste, etc. So, if you want to avoid higher prices in Morgantown consider staying here. There were many WVU football fans there the first night and Oakland fans the next night.

The evening receptionist was amazing. He was super helpful. He got us in right away, and we totally asleep within minutes. It took 5 minutes to get it all done.

It served it's purpose. Clean bed and bathroom. Needs updating. Room a little old smelling. Enjoyed our short stay. Everyone was nice.

The inn is nice for the price and the service is friendly. The room apart from the bathroom is good, but it doesn't have enough outlets. It is probably due to the datedness, but out of all the outlets to plug our devices, none of them were near the bed. Did I mention that everything about this inn is old? That was ok for us, but I feel that the bathrooms should be remolded. Old-looking bathrooms are nothing but off-putting even if they are actually clean. The toilet seat was plastic and peeling, the sink gave off a very terrible smell, and the water went down the drain slowly.

It was very nice area and nice people.

The hotel staff were very friendly. We had a small problem with a not so clean bathtub and they immediately switched our room. We saw that they spent almost the entire day making sure the previous bathroom was clean even though we had already moved to a new room. They were able to accommodate a party of 14 in the dining room for dinner. And they even helped make a comfy bed on the floor for my niece and daughter to camp out in our room. (Extra fluffy blankets, extra sheets and extra pillows for their fort on the floor). I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Well priced at $64 on a Friday night, bed was clean and comfortable and bathroom was clean and well-stocked. Breakfast was hot with eggs, potatoes and sausage or make-your-own waffle. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and Danishes were also available. Would definitely stay again. "Pet friendly" means $25 fee for the night, though! Dog stayed in the car (it was a mild night).

If you want a clean hotel I wouldn't stop here if you don't let the cleaning service clean your room the first morning your are there forget a clean stay the rest of the week your there after the first 2 days she didn't even come by not once and than they charge our card $270 when we left! And when called to talk to the manager she was very rude talked over me and wouldnt listen to what I had to say she had her mind set and believed she knew everything they rip you off and refuse to refund your money! Said our room was a mess that's why and that we refused service because I refused the first morning there that means I shouldn't ever get service! Rude dirty very unprofessional.

The rooms had bugs and were dirty. We booked a room for a week and the housekeeper never attempted to clean the room. After my family and I left Clarion charge my card 300 dollars for leaving the room dirty. Nothing was broken and the room was not left dirty. The manager was rude and refused to refund my money. My bank had to stop the charge. I travel everywhere for work and stay in many hotels I have never been charged for a dirty room anywhere else.

I've never gone before, even to stay since I live so close as is to the place, but there was an event held there between 10 and 4pm that I attended. The staff was very nice and on top of removing l items that were not needed from our tables. Our event was catered, and the people working with the food had everything out in a timely manner. The staff was also kind in giving directions to the restrooms available. I had a decent experience.

I have been serch of finding. A hotel near qhwr my daughter gowa yo school at Fairmont University, I drive from Waahington, DC to Fairmont WV each time I bring her to school. Finaly found a hotel I can stay at while bring het to school. The hotel was very nice, customer service was awesome. I had a bad experience of bed bugs in hotels and express my fears to the front desk clerk, and was honest and assured me that wouldn't happenin the hotel. I stay not only one night, I stayed two nights… Thank you so much.

The absolutely best customer service on the planet! We arrived in the rain, after having a breakdown on I79. We were tired, wet and hungry. The restaurant had just closed, but when we mentioned our hunger to Ronnie the front desk clerk, he called Amy the waitress, and they let us order anything we wanted off the restaurant menu! And would not take no for an answer. (not wanting to be difficult, we ordered pasta — it came with a lovely salad and garlic bread) Our room was what you would expect for a hotel — large room with nice king bed and great pillow choice. Not glamorous, but I don't live there. Complimentary breakfast included both hot and cold foods, and was well attended by staff. Laura — also a front desk clerk — was also a hero when the local Enterprise rent a car refused to pick us up (I could have sworn they had a nation wide commercial campaign stating they would — but that's a different review — look for it! ) Laura knew the number for the only cab company in town. She called him for us — Mike at Allevato taxi — another A+ person. (he gave us directions to the garage that is fixing our car — Enterprise wanted $8 per day for a GPS! ) So, for a bad trip — these people made it really wonderful… now Enterprise — not so much, Munro Brake and AAA — that jury is still out, but you know I'll post a review when all is done!
