I truly enjoy experiencing a mom & pop owned hotel with the charm of the 1960's & 1970's. Rock City Hotel is very clean everything is modern, and best if all value priced not over priced as other modern hotels. Their rates are atleast half as much as others. I like saving $50 or more to use for a great breakfast for the family or other stuff. The owners here are very nice, rooms are clean, beds comfortable flat screen TV, refrigerator, cabke, and they even have a (real vintage ice-cream truck) here with awesome treats for everyone. If you are looking for a simple place to sleep, in a safe spot about a mile from the highway, give Rock City Motel a shout. Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs. Need I say more? 2 rooms complained in 1 night, with evidence & the owners still denied it! Calling the health department after the weekend. Good luck! 0/5 stars from me. Disgusting & filthy and 2 out of 3 beds were missing the fitted sheet.

Upon arrival the room was extremely hot, airconditioner wasn't on and it was 109 degrees outside. After being in the room for a hour it was cooler outside. We were moved to a second room same issue with the airconditioner, 2 hours later still not working properly. We booked this room because our daughter was getting married, and needed a place to get ready for the wedding, horrible experience, my daughter's makeup couldn't even be put on due to the heat. We checked out after the wedding and had to drive 4 hours home late at night due to the heat and we couldn't sleep. I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone! Also the staff was not friendly! Told us that no one else complained about their rooms!

This place is $59.99 but it's not a $59.99 dump. It's a $39.99 dump. The office was blazing hot, smelled like pee and boiled carrots, and it took them over 20 minutes to check in the two customers before me. My room was also blazing hot so I turned the AC unit on high but it was taking forever to cool down bc the air filter was completely caked w nastiness. The room was cruddy and at least one hooker was knifed in the bathroom. Towels were all maroon instead of white. Red flag. Do yourself a favor and get a real hotel room or sleep in your vehicle.

I stayed here during the holidays due to a full house. I was amazed at how nice and clean the rooms were. I had a question about the Wi-Fi and one call to the front desk took care of it. It was immaculately clean, had TV with dish networks and a fridge/microwave. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in Minneapolis.

Great price and only 18 miles from Concordia. The rooms are clean and had a refrigerator and microwave and nice tv. It is much cheaper here than staying in Concordia.

Lovely little motel. Very friendly owner and it’s been cleaned and refreshed a bit in the last 5 years since I was last here. Happy to have a little place in Minneapolis near family instead of having to drive all the way from Salina each day. Totally recommend if you need a quiet and clean and inexpensive place in the middle of nowhere, Kansas.

Very good, quite motel near I-70 & I-135 Salina KS. This Rock city motel is located in front of Minneapolis gulf club which is Located on US 81 highway. Good for travelers with family, workers and highway stoppers. Very secure and family operated. We had quite and nice sleep every night we stayed here. We also enjoyed the view and game played by gulf players right through the windows of the rooms. Pizza hut, liquor store, dollar general and mexican restaurants are within walking distance. Worth staying and very reasonable price. Guest laundry, Iron boards were provided after requesting to the office staff. Very helpful and cooperative staffs.
