The desk clerk is always so helpful, polite, knows his business, and always goes beyond his duties, and he remembers your name! I'm impressed with his work ethics, I highly recommend this Hotel.

In these difficult times, the restaurant is closed, but open for takeout and room service.
I have just enjoyed is simply remarkable repast of prawns mashed potatoes vegetables and simply delicious chowder.
So, if you find yourself in Ketchikan, Or live in Ketchikan and just want a regular break from the world, come enjoy The Landing!

It's been over six months since my last stay at The Landing, but on arrival the hotel staff made me feel so welcome; it's nice to have a place that feels like a home-away-from-home. The rooms are pleasant, very nice sized and have wonderful amenities. I liked the look and feel of the newer bed covers, they're extra soft; and the selection of pillows, helped me get a good night's rest. This visit, the weather turned from nice to cold and wet, so I made use of the guest robes after a long day. The room attendant I had was friendly and helpful, when I had a special request. Much appreciated! My stay was a good one and I look forward to my next visit at The Landing.

The rooms are nice clean and large. The restaurant food is excellent at the hotel as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Once again, good eating at either restaurant upstairs or downstairs.

Dirty restaurant, dirty floors, dirty table settings, dirty high chair, I felt badly putting my child in it, and had to go to the counter to get a rag to clean it myself. It is very expensive for the cheap quality of food they serve. Service was terrible, we were given our food and that was it. Ketchikan needs to get some standards.

The servers in the downstairs restaurant are AMAZING!

We came to The Landing Restaurant TWICE. Both times no one served us. We were told to seat ourselves the first time and we did. Then no one came to help us, after two waitresses looked at us twice. Then tonight we sat ourselves, THREE waitresses looked at us and walked away.
Two tables sat after us and they were served right away. We even heard waitresses talking about how slow it is tonight. So why didn’t anyone help us?! Clearly we are not meant to eat here and won’t be back. I think management needs to get things more organized.

I do recommend this hotel because of the staff from the front desk staff to the waiters/waitress they are completely awesome. Very good service! And the food was really fantastic! Everything is perfect. I love their coleslaw. Best ive ever had! Thanks landing hotel!

The staff at the Landing are the best I’ve ever had to deal with in 46 years of travel. They are friendly, helpful, honest, dedicated and go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. I give them 5/5 STARS!

We spent one night here and really enjoyed it! Jeremiah’s Pub was a great place to hang out and have happy hour and dinner. The food was good and the menu offered a huge selection. All the staff here were very friendly and accommodating!

Delicious food and great service. Once we got bill weren't as attentive as they were at first. Didn't fill water until asked multiple times. But otherwise spot on.

Just went to the restaurant did not stay at hotel and had the unfortunate luck to end up going three times in a week (not my choice). Food is in my opinion, terrible. The people I was with however who are very conservative and used to bland over cooked food loved it so there is that. Less open to debate is the grumpy wait staff and every time they touched the water pitcher to the glasses, that type of thing. I'd prefer McDonald's any day.

Very convenient access to downtown and airport ferry if you choose ask to be in the new updated side.

We stayed on our way out after a few days of fishing. The room was very nice. The shuttle runs all over the island to pick you up. Only downside is we had to call a few times to actually get picked up. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty. And they drove us to the airport ferry.

The hotel is comfortable and well furnished. Have their own shuttle that will take you pretty much anywhere in city limits. Biggest downside is not enough outlets at the nightstands.

They have apple cinnamon jelly, its the best and the only place in town. The biscuits and gravy was different but delicious, and you can get a free meal on your birthday month.

Amazing restaurant cool staff right across from Ferry Terminal.

Actually a bit nicer than I remember it from 5 years ago. Rooms roughly comparable to a Fairfield or Hampton. Helpful front desk. Guest laundry. Shuttle van. We started here following a week in a Forest Service cabin, so we may have been easy to please, but they did a good job for us.

Clean, great service, and good location to ferry terminals as well as the airport.

We were on a cruise ship from Canada and my dad was taken off ship to the hospital. The cruise line got us rooms at this amazing hotel. The staff were phenomenal. Five Stars isn't enough of a rating for this place. The shuttle bus drivers were super friendly and the restaurant staff were amazing and informative. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! Thank You again for the amazing help we got!

Thank you to all the staff who helped my family from out of town when they traveled to Ketchikan to be with my dad while he was at the Pioneer Home. The care and sincere kindness made the situation so much easier on my mom and brother. Knowing they were both in such good hands also helped my stress level. From the front desk, to the people who cleaned the rooms, to the waiter and everyone in between, the service was phenomenal. Thank you!

The restaurant was overpriced for the subpar food and the service was dissapointing. Will not be returning to eat here.

Very friendly staff, and the rooms are comfortable. I was able to wire my Xbox One to the internet and had a solid connection the week I stayed. The food is good too at both restaurants connected to the hotel.

Fats service, Great food and wonderful waitresses. I had the Corned Beef, Has Browns and Eggs over Easy with Sourdough Bread it was delicious.

Great location close to the airport ferry. Rooms are comfortable, beds are firm, food in both restaurants is great. Only issue so far is some mold below the lip in the shower.

Staff has been extremely nice! My second night here I received advice on what to order off the build your own pasta menu based on my seafood allergy at Jeremiah’s. I must say it was the best advice I’ve ever been given at a restaurant! Truly genuine service! Thank you Misty/Stacey.

It's not a luxury hotel, but it's where I choose to stay whenever I visit Ketchikan (I've stayed other places). The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and the onsite restaurant and bar perfect for any meal/drinks.

Good atmosphere. Great place to get a quality old fashioned American diner breakfast.

Great Banquet service for the wine tasting! I also enjoy the restaurant as well! Their little ruben sliders are sooooo so good. Never liked rubens until I tried their's.

Probably one of the best hotels in town. Modern amenities and an average price.

Comfortable clean room! I've stayed twice on work travel and been perfectly content at the Landing. The included breakfast is actually quite good too! I'll be back next time I travel to Ketchikan.

Also, extremely poor billing. The room was supposed to be billed to 'x' bill but was billed to my card. Not once but twice within a week. Leaving me with a negative balance. The first time I was offered zero compensation but merely a loan till the matter was resolved. The second time promoted at least a meal or two from the restaurant. Insult to injury is the fact that the blame gets passed from desk to billing merchant to bank leaving me running in circles. This all happening while our stay here was to accommodate a pregnancy. Besides this, everything was pleasant and the staff was accommodating.

As soon as we arrived a waitress came with menus and took our orders. She promptly brought drinks and took our orders. The service here is always quick and the food is always great.

I was in Ketchikan on business and the Landing met my needs while I was there. At check in, the staff was friendly, professional, and quick. The rooms were older but clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel had good food and brews. I would recommend staying here for either business or pleasure.

Nice place, nice rooms, nice staff… Downside is that (though it has a handicap lift) the "old building" has lots of stairs… To get to lobby and check in, up you go, from there to rooms and bar, up you go. So unless you ride the wheelchair lift, be in good shape on that side. New building has an elevator. So it's fine for all.

This place (the restaurant here) was a welcome sight after a few days on the ferry and wanting to try something different. Most items on the menu were a little pricey. Waitresses came by constantly to refill coffee. I got the biscuits and gravy (very good portion but the gravy could've been a little warmer). Overall, I was satisfied.

Very nice and clean. They have a nice bar upstairs and a diner downstairs. The room, service and food was exceptional… I can't give it a 5 star because it is not the Ritz, but when in Ketchican, do as the Roman's do… or something like that.

Very nice, clean hotel conviently located close to ferry dock and airport ferry. Good restaurant and bar on the property. Suite room are really nice. Free shuttle service to anywhere you want to go. Bus stop in front of hotel and car rental just 3 blocks away. We've stayed here several times and the staff has always been very helpful and professional, always willing to help or share information on activities in the area.

Great hotel! I came to Ketchikan on business, and I'm glad I chose to stay here. There is a decent restaurant in the hotel, and (while I don't know this city well) it seems to be conveniently located for just about everything. There is a small but respectable fitness center, which was one of the reasons I picked this hotel. My room is a good size, and pretty comfortable. I'm not sure if they're all like this, but my room is suite style; there is a separate living room, and a door into the bedroom. I am happy with it overall. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to a friend.

This is one of my favorite Best Western hotels! It's located close to the airport and right across the street from the ferry terminal. The rooms are always clean. The staff at the front desk are knowledgeable and are always willing to help make your stay better. Now the food, you have two options. There is a diner on the ground floor that serves up mostly comfort food that's great for the whole family and the pub/restaurant on the 2nd floor (right above the diner) that serves more adult fair with a full bar.

Rooms were fine, spacious, comfortable, not all that well lit, but then again, what hotel rooms are? Diner serves very good breakfasts, little pricey though.

Pretty average diner food. The locals love it, but I don't get the hype. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. I like that each booth has its own coat rack so that you don't have to wear your drippy raincoat inside if you get caught in the frequent Ketchikan rain.

It is a really comfortable place. And the restaurant is good. Not amazing, but felt comfortable and slept well.

I come over from prince of Wales island to bring my dog to the veterinarian. I called days in advance to book a room for 2 nights and when the guy took the reservation he asked what time I would be in. I replied 11 a. M. When the ferry arrives. I spent 9 nights here a couple months ago at $160 a night. The front desk clerk did not inform me that the room was going to be $115 more a night than the $160 I paid the last visit. On top of that huge surprise a room was not available when I arrived, which left me wondering around packing a dog kennel as well as my luggage and a dog making it very inconvenient. I have spent several thousand here and was flabbergasted at the huge rate increase and very unprofessional communication from the front desk clerk when I made the reservation. It is a nice place to stay but definitely not $275 a night nice. They will bleed you dry and not even blink an eye. In the future I will definitely stay somewhere else. Rooms are also very hot with no air conditioning.

Stayed here overnight during a business trip. They have a pillow menu which is a nice touch.

Prices in the restaurant are a little high, but I usually get good service. The rooms are pretty standard.

Ate at the restaurant. Food was decent but not amazing. Server was friendly and servers worked together to keep glasses full. Food did not come out timely but did arrive in the order the tables were processed. Clean environment, friendly staff.

Comfortable, spacious rooms comfortable beds, and an accommodating staff. I would come back here again. My only complaint is that the parking spaces are small, and there are not that many either. The entry to the hotel is very cramped as well.

Great place. I live here every two weeks and you cannot beat it.
