Truly disappointed in the property… lots of bare grass and dead plants… our little patio was all dead and weeds… not conducive to sitting out in… room was clean but old… bar and restaurant were good.

We had a great time during our visit. We purchased the Tulip Festival package, which included accommodations and a free appetizer, along with a complimentary breakfast, in addition to admission to the tulip festival and a glass of wine for two. We purchased admission to The Oregon Garden prior to check-in and had a fabulous time. Thank you so much!

Very nice rooms. Very clean. Fireplace for heat is a nice touch. Went to the lounge and listened to some music and had dinner. Service was a little slow, but we were in no hurry. Food was tasty and plentiful. Enjoyed our stay.

This room is amazing! Bed is comfy, sheets are soft and the comforter is cozy! I definitely want to come back and bring my husband. Food was also absolutely delicious!

It was a beautiful evening to stroll through the Christmas lights. Our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and being able to relax. Dinner was delicious!

Their facilities are immaculate and the staff is very friendly. My mom and I needed a place to get some peace as my father passed away earlier in the week. We slept deep and feel rested. The Christmas dinner and White Zinfandel was great.

My honey and I has stayed here a few times in the last few weeks. Loved it! We purchased the dinner package the second time we stayed and the food was served in a timely manner and the gentleman server was over the top! The food was absolutely delish and was elegant and the presentation was beautiful. I had the plank salmon which was cooked perfectly. Keving had the seafood pasta that was perfect. Served with a bottle of Oregon Garden Wine which we took back to the room. Everything was amazing!
The first time we stayed, we walked out of our back door and took a trail on a walk. There was a sweet family of deer grazing in the gardens. The gardens are beautiful and I have enjoyed going to them for years. Glad we stayed the the resort finally! We plan on staying there again soon and enjoying a close to home romantic getaway. Thank you staff for your hospitality and the great chef who prepared our romantic meal!

Stayed here while touring nurseries. Beautiful gardens with a lot of amazing plants. Loved the Lodge and it’s fireplace. Rooms are nice size and very comfortable.

The Oregon Garden Resort is a comfortable place to stay. They offer access to the gardens, which are beautiful. The breakfasts are delicious, the rooms very comfortable. The grounds for the hotel are well maintained and so pretty, with a touch of whimsy thrown in through the use of old tools hanging on the outsides of certain buildings. The staff is friendly and helpful with any needs you may have. I look forward to my visits to the Oregon Garden Resort.

We enjoyed a three night stay at the Oregon Garden for our wedding weekend surrounding 8/18/18. The gardens were stunning, the guest rooms very comfortable, and greatly enjoyed the breakfast offerings and the drinks and atmosphere offered by the Lounge. Our guests were extremely happy with the amenities, such as the pool and the tram rides around the gardens. Guests of all ages had a great time! Family also raved about the eco friendly aspects of the resort. Overall, amazing weekend, and we cannot wait to return for our anniversary! Special shout out to Steven Downs, the event coordinator who helped our day be unforgettable. Thank you, Steven!

My husband and I LOVE this place. We ride our bikes during the day and stroll the gardens after having a wonderful dinner at the lodge restaurant. The rooms are quaint and clean and very quiet. The gardens are incredible. I have not found a place to stay that can match the value of staying here. There's just so much included!

Oregon Garden is good at every turn but not great. Service was extremely friendly if not the most efficient. Entrees at the restaurant are so so and over priced, however the lounge food was great and a good deal especially on happy hour. Overall the room was fine and fairly priced. Pool was small, but fine, filled with kids. I would say a well priced family resort, but I would avoid if you're look for a more quiet romantic weekend.

We had a fabulous time — we celebrated our 49th anniversary there and enjoyed everything. The gardens are so beautiful and we got a few ideas for our property as well. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast was incredible! The room was perfect — even though the location is a bit of a drive for us we will do it again. Thanks so much for such a beautiful resort and gardens. A great deal for the price!

The gardens were beautiful. I wish our room was cleaned a bit better. There were cobwebs all over the ceiling and a lot of dead bugs on the window sills. The front staff were very welcoming.

We got the romance package & stayed for our anniversary. My wife and I both really enjoyed ourselves. Dinner was excellent, the hot tub was relaxing, the room was clean & comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful & seemed to be very knowledgable. All in all we had a great time. Can't wait to go back!

I just stayed a night there, leaving just this morning, and I got to say it is what I needed. I was looking for a way to treat myself for my birthday and thought this place would be nice and it was and more. The garden is beautiful, the rooms were nice, the music in the lounge was great and I just had a great time. I even explored Silverton a little and it was such a cool looking town. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at the Oregon Garden Resort before visiting Silver Park State Falls. Nice, spacious rooms, and incredible grounds — be sure to visit the garden if you stay here. We had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant. Morning brunch wasn't quite as good but that's often the case with buffet.

Beautiful, serene gardens! Many different style of gardens to tour on foot or ride a train with a narrative guide. Has a cafe and gift shop to browse. Also a motel on site with a spa, meeting rooms, restaurant and bar to enjoy. During the summer there are live concerts, brew fests and plant sales to attend. The town of Silverton is close by with it's charm as well!

Room was clean and tidy, love the fireplaces and the patio off the room. Any time I called the front desk they were right in our request and I never was made to feel like “ I was a bother” like some other places I’ve stayed. The included breakfast covers great hours and is very well staffed and has good food.

The Gardens are beautiful and a very quick walk from the resort. The rooms were large and comfortable. There are lots of great amenities: in room fridge and microwave, pool and hot tub, complimentary breakfast. The restaurant has fantastic food. While it is a tad spendy, you can book a Dinner deal with your stay that includes two entrees and bottle of wine. This was well worth the value. Fantastic stay, will definitely be back!

This is a lovely place to stay. We try to come every year and are very happy overall. My friends and I always book with the girlfriends package. It is an amazing value. We will be back next year for sure.

We had a mixed experience. The spa was amazing. The room was okay. Not as nice as I was expecting. The food in the Garden View Restaurant was rather disappointing. We felt it was overpriced. The staff was great. We loved the views of the garden, visiting the Frank Lloyd house and exploring the garden. Overall a good experience. Just not as nice a resort as I was hoping. We enjoyed exploring the boutique shops in Silverton, but we were disappointed that most of them closed at 5pm.

Lovely! Staying at the resort gives you access to the beautiful gardens and a nice breakfast. The gardens were well tended and some of the nicest I've seen. I would love to visit again. It's an excellent site for weddings or special occasions. The accommodation setup is nice too. All rooms are ground floor and there are around 6 per building. There are many little clusters. So if you do have a wedding your family can all stay in the same cluster of rooms. Staff were friendly. Only thing that needed attention was the slowly draining bathroom sink and shower. AC could have been stronger too. But really a nice place!

Nice quiet hotel. Comfortable beds. Does not have a gym but the grounds were beautiful to run around in the morning although it rained the entire time. Issue with key cards twice — finally sent maintenance who cleaned the debris from the key and that seemed to work as we didn’t have issues after that. Issue with the vouchers and poor customer service. Don’t depend on the vouchers to work or the staff to be accommodating. Plus side is the hotel room is large and the beds are extremely comfortable. Reasonably close to the outlets and a nice quiet setting.

Beautiful, relaxing setting. Great friendly customer service. The Gardens are gorgeous and it is very peaceful. The front desk check in ladies were very friendly and accommodating. The entertainment, Billy and the Rockets were fabulous! Great place to stay.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the grounds were pristine and beautiful, the rooms were delightful, the hot tub was great and the spa was fabulous! This was my first visit and I was very impressed, it is such a great value! I can't wait to go again!

The stay was wonderful! We got a couples massage that was to die for, with hot stones and everything. Those robes are so comfortable! Dinner in the restaurant was amazing! The room was nice, but a little run down (chipped furniture and tiles). It was clean though and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was lovely and the garden was magnificent! We forgot suits so we didn’t check out the hot tub or pool, but it looked awesome! It was really cool being able to take our unfinished wine from dinner back to our room! We did get the romance package, which included champagne and Moonstruck Chocolates, which isn’t worth it IMO considering what we got. The champagne was inexpensive and they gave us a small box of 4 Euphoria truffles instead of the Moonstruck chocolates. Euphoria isn’t bad, it’s just in a different league than Moonstruck. I could have easily bought those in Eugene and brought them with us. In the future, I would stay there again, and get the massage and dinner, just not the romance package. Overall it was a great stay!

We stayed for a friends birthday, Dinner at resort was amazing all of it delicious! Rooms were spotless and quite nice, liked decor and patio space… toured the gardens extensive and beautiful even in early spring, this place must be magical when in full bloom, would definitely recommend and come back, Silverton is so charming worth exploring, overall experience 5 stars♡Thank you!

The rooms are cozy and clean with everything you need. The grounds and garden are beautiful. The restaurant was nice overall with great wait staff — my only complaint was that our food was slightly warm instead of hot and became cold quickly.

Gotta' love the location near the Oregon Garden grounds. After that, it gets just OK overall. The rooms are comfortable but underwhelming — a bit small, dark, and view-less. The main lodge lacks any of the quality details a facility of such prominence should have. Lots of painted walls and cheap finishes. The complimentary breakfast is not worth your time, except it's your only chance to have a view of the Oregon Garden. Skip it and try one of the much better breakfast options in downtown Silverton.

This is a very beautiful property, even in the winter season. The staff are professional and friendly, and really make you feel welcome. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have a cottage feel. Love the in-room fireplaces. The food is excellent, and prepared the way you want it. No disappointments with anything we tried. I really recommend trying the nightly specials. But a warning here, the desserts are dangerously delicious!

Always a wonderful visit. The hotel is located above the Oregon Garden which is always lovely. The staff is nice and the restaurant has good options. My best friend and I came for the 'Girls Friends Spa Package' which includes room, spa treatment, dinner with a bottle of wine and breakfast. Sara gave me the most relaxing massage! My husband and I like coming for the Garden Christmas lights.

The Garden itself is lovely, and going off season meant we had the place to ourselves. The staff is all very friendly. Unfortunately, we had a mix-up with our package, which meant we had to track down the extras. We had massages (one great, one mediocre) and very nice facials. The restaurant was underwhelming… His steak was ordered med rare but came out nearly raw. The food in general was bland and unimpressive. The room was nice (love the fireplace) but the bed is too squishy. We'll be back to see the garden in full bloom, and for spa services, but I think we'll stay and eat elsewhere.

The only reason this resort gets 4 stars and not 5 is because the beds were way to soft. I prefer a soft bed, but I sank in about 4 inches. The rest of the resort is amazing! The staff was great, continental breakfast had a lot of choices (sausage brand needs to change), the room was beautiful and quiet. Even visiting in the winter, I could tell that the gardens are well maintained. I can't wait to visit again during the spring when the flowers are in bloom.

Stayed for a week on a business trip. This place is so nice! Love how the rooms are away from the main building in little cottages with about 6 rooms per building. Lots of parking and the room was so nice and clean with vaulted ceilings and felt very large. Did I mention how clean the room was?! I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Service and food was5 star. Me and my wife agreed one of the better places we have stayed. Did it have all the amenities of the big chains. It did offer peace and quiet the larger chains can’t.

Beautiful setting and cozy rooms. My one qualm was soft / saggy mattress, so folks with back issues, be forewarned. Rooms were nice and quiet and ours had a nice foresty view. The lounge was super cozy with the big fireplace and nice live music. Helpful and efficient front desk staff.

Past magic of lights is gone with reducing them to a small village instead of the whole garden. We loved it last year and were quite disappointed this year. Nice hotel room, breakfast, and lounge. We will be back in the spring. Not booking next Christmas.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We visited the resort to enjoy the walk through light display. The display was full of color and music. We enjoyed being able to purchase a hot holiday drink and warm up by the many firepits and seating along the path. It was great to see families and some dogs enjoying the beautiful park. Thank you Oregon Gardens for all your efforts and hospitality. Our room was very comfortable and large. We will be going back in the Spring to enjoy the blooming garden for sure!

To say that the service was lacking would be a complete and utter understatement. It was shockingly bad. And, not just the dinner service, but the front desk clerks were rude and unprofessional. We found the service to be appalling, from the front desk to the restaurant, and in total decline from just two years ago. We will not go back to the Resort. Conversely, we will continue to support, patronize and spread the good word about the Garden, which is nirvana; we feel utterly entranced when we are there. The volunteers are congenial and courteous, and we have had delightful conversations with some of your gardeners who love to educate and inform. There are already many negative reviews of the restaurant and the resort, but, sadly, we chosen to ignore them this time. Two positives: the dinner itself was very good. And, I received an immediate reply to a very detailed email that I wrote to the Assistant GM, Ms. Bell, who seemed to be genuinely concerned about our unhappy experience.

We stayed two nights and thought that the staff was fantastic.
The Oregon Garden Resort restaurant has vastly improved since our last visit. Each meal was prepared exceptionally well and very tasty.
The room is spacious, on the ground floor with no one above you, with a gas fireplace, microwave, mini-fridge, overhead fan, table and chairs and private patio. We slept on a king mattress. The headboard was gorgeous. We are accustomed to a memory foam mattress at home and found the innerspring mattress a bit uncomfortable but slept well.
I was disappointed that the bathtub was not a jacuzzi but the shower had lots of hot water and the tub is large.
We had thought to try out the hot tub and pool but when we had a free moment it was raining so we will try it on another visit. An area to dress and keep your clothing dry probably would have been enough incentive for us to try the hot tub in the Oregon drizzle, but knowing our clothing would be drenched after we got out of the hot tub on the run back to our room dampened our motivation.
We enjoyed the couples massage, which was one of the highlights of our visit. The hot stones were heavenly.
We toured the Oregon Garden on the tram between rain showers. The driver was very knowledgeable. We look forward to returning this Christmas season to see the Christmas displays and taking long walks through each section of the 120-acre garden.

Pros:Resort was wonderful the staff were friendly. The spa (massage) was heaven on earth and the garden was wonderful. Cons: restaurant isn't really anything to rave about, the meal I had was very dry and for 26 bucks didn't seem worth it. The last problem I had was with the checkin time. We had check in at 3 but didn't get into our room until 3:30 because of the maid not being done. But for how long we waited made me suspect she didn't get into the room to clean it until we got there at 3. For having a standard big resort checkin you have to abide by the checkin time. There is no excuses for us having to wait.

My wife surprised me with a weekend stay with our friends, and I had to embarassingly step in just to get a key to a room that worked. First, the keys we were given to our accessible room already had people staying in it that we walked in on! Then, when downgraded from one king to two queens, our keys didn't work! And then, after the maintenance man let us so we could unload luggage to go to the hot tub, our keys didn't let us back in! My wife, a paraplegic in a wheelchair, was shivering and the front desk was confrontational with when we explained! He took 15 mins to reprogram our keys, even with the same maintenance standing next to us to help — and accused me of being rude! Outrageous!

Unorganized mess. Expect to be passed around from booth to booth for anything advertised. Many lights out, leaving you stumbling down dark paths. Santa's elf never looking away from her phone. Reindeer Nazis. Very long wait for tram. This is a flea market with a handful of vendors and no planning.

The Oregon Garden is a must see for ever Oregon resident. I've been multiple times and never tire of visiting. There are events year around, this time I visited for the Christmas lights which were beautiful.

Beds were soft and comfortable and the room was modern and well furnished. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. My only gripe (albeit a very small one) is that I've seen better toilet paper in public restrooms. Too bad they can't afford some Charmin.

What a fantastic place to stay. We walked our dogs through the garden. They had a nice little pet area. We were the only people in our block of rooms which was great for privacy. Every room had it's own back deck even. I would definitely stay here again.

First night and I am already disappointed. Their booklet says they have free high speed internet in two options. However they only have Wi-Fi available after saying they also have a wired connection. To make matters worse their wireless connection is pure crap. I can't even make it through a single email without it disconnected. I am lucky to get two bars. Way to offer things to people that they don't have. I could have gone to a nice hotel in Portland, which I am thinking I should have done. Also, this place is a resort yet they don't offer room service. I find that quite strange since far cheaper hotels offer room service. I don't see my stay improving.

We went to a wedding at Silverton garden's that was hosted both on the grounds and in their large barn. It was very nice reception, the grounds were lovely and barn was very large and roomy. I understand the rumored cost to be quite prohibitive for a average cost wedding, but for a high end event this was quite nice.

Used OGR for our wedding accommodations and our group got THE WORST service. I was the bride mind you … And my friend had her room dpie booked. Other people walked into her room waking her newborn baby, she and her husband up. THEN front desk staff demanded her husbands ID. They also had PUBIC HAIR in their shower from previous guest. When I upset this happened and complained their front desk manager Lindi Mckeown put me in a copy machine room to field my complaint then stood over me and threatened to call the police on me. Can't make this stuff up folks. Horrible experience. Stay in a local B and B and bypass their horrible service.

Decided to go since we had gone to see the Frank Lloyd Wright house, which is nearby. We thought that it being this late in the year (September) there probably would not be much in bloom. Lots of flowers were still displaying their beauty plus the many water features, special displays and art through out the grounds made it worthwhile. A quick visit turned into a good three hour tour and walk. The staff were friendly, helpful, and did not mind stopping and discussing the gardens and plants. There will be a return trip to see the gardens at a different time of the year and the surprises it displays.

I have just booked another reservation to go back, I enjoyed it so much. The rooms are in cottages, like duplexes, and have patios. It's very quiet. The bar is fun, and the food in the dining room is good. It backs up to the fabulous Oregon Gardens, which are free to guests. It's also a short drive to Silver Falls State Park, which is great for hiking.

This is the second time for Shelley and I to visit the gardens. It is like going to a retreat in the country. The cottages you get to stay in are great, relaxing, good size, private, etc. The gardens are beautiful and you can enjoy them while leisurely strolling through. We bought the dinner package which gives us one fabulous dinner for one of our nights stay.

I booked a 2 days stay for parents for my moms birthday recently and they loved it. I booked them a couples massage and a spa treatment for my mom and she said she felt like a queen. They said the staff was great and the location was beautiful. I've actually never been there because I live in Hawaii now, but I will make sure to visit there with my wife soon. The price was very reasonably less compared to other resort hotels, and it's a unique location. Thanks for taking care of my folks Oregon Garden Resort staff.

It is wonderful throughout Oregon. Me is sung from todo. Me go there to live. Trees nature is beautiful.

Area = amazing. Wandering the gardens is awesome. Food= amazing and decently priced. Room=very nice with fireplace. Bed = awful. We both woke up after about two hours sore and twisted. We ended up pulling the covers off and sleeping at the end of the bed. Told the front desk they needed to replace the mattress. Front desk requested that we tell them earlier next time so they could switch our room. But just didn't think of that at 1 in the morning. Went home exhausted. A very bad mattress really can ruin a nice weekend.

Stayed here for a conference and was very pleased. Rooms were very adequate and pleasant, clean/quiet. The facilities were nice and slightly upscale so you could relax in style. The restaurant was nice, but it's a hotel restaurant. Great lounge with excellent service. The gardens are brisk for people of all ages with extra local attractions. The town of Silverton is very approachable and my family will return for a vacation/long weekend.

Went to the restaurant for my 1 year anniversary thinking it would be perfect for both food and atmosphere and I couldn't have been more wrong. It was freezing cold the whole time and the place was practically empty which should have been my first signs. The menu sounded great from what I read online which is another reason why I though it would be great. No no no. Please fire your chefs. A sign of terrible food is the overuse of dill. It was even in the bread which was just a few cheap store bought rolls that were heated up to produce a crispy outer layer which in essence was just a huge mess of dry flakes. We ordered the bacon and bleu cheese fritters which sounded good until you bite into them and they are also full of dill flavor. Because of their limited cocktail menu with most mixed drinks consisting of the cheap Stoli vodka, I decided to play it safe and order a Bourbon on the rocks which was sadly the best part of the meal. My husband ordered their overpriced burger to which he was too sick to eat after the fritters. I ordered the Chicken cordon bleu with rice pilaf and veggies. The rice was full of celery which any good chef knows that is just a cheap filler. The chicken was breaded and stuffed with Swiss cheese and ham and topped with hollandaise sauce that contained far too much lemon juice. The chicken overall was ok, but the ham was just overload. Keep it simple.

The reuben was excellent, burger very good. The building is a very sweet old rail station. Service was great despite lunch-hour over run.

We had such a relaxing time. This is the place to go if you are looking for a quiet peaceful get away. We hope to check out the spa that is at the resort next time. The resort is just a little bit away from the main streets of Silverton which we really enjoyed looking at the antique shops there and getting coffee from Main St. Bistro and Coffee. Totally recommend it and can't wait till the next time we get to go. Hope to bring the kids some time soon.

Stayed here on the Living Social deal. Very nice room. Excellent food, free massage, and about the nicest possible setting imaginable. How awesome is it to be able to walk in the Oregon Garden early in the morning before it's open to the public. Excellent staff. About the nicest Groupon-style special we've taken advantage of (and we do lots of them). Definitely worth a trip.
