The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom definitely could have been cleaner. The bathroom sink was clogged. The hairdryer didn't work. Just a little bit of deferred maintenance but it was awesome being able to bring my dog. In the room for the most part wasn't bad.

A lot to be desired. Breakfast was upstairs and neither of us can climb stairs anymore. There is an odor in the rooms and hall. We asked for a handicapped room and did not get one. We requested a crib for my 2 year old upon registering and none was provided.

Clean, with a really good free breakfast until 9am. The rooms have air conditioning, cable tv, free Wi-Fi, a fridge and a microwave. Couldn't ask for more! Near the highway, as well as a Walmart and a Fred Meyer. For food there's Denny's, Burger King and Taco Bell all within a minutes drive, and a there's a Jack in the Box in the same parking lot. Had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back.

The rooms are well appointed and newly remodeled (6/18). The breakfast was well stocked and excellent quality.

Room was horrid the people at the reception area were even worse. Original reservation I was told be cause I’m disabled my dads would be ok then the grumpy man told me I would be charged more after checking in. I traveled from out of state. I was also told I could have a late checkout free of charge only to have mr grumpy tell me it was $10 an hour after 11am again after checking in. The area was almost as bad as the motel. Expect changes even after being ensured of what you’ll be charged. Run go elsewhere!

Clean, comfortable room. Easy access off interstate, shopping within walking distance.

The staff was good except the white male during night shift sat may 12th 2018 he was treating us rude and would follow me and my group like if we were criminals very unprofessional. I was there for a tattoo expo will def be using a different hotel next time.

The rooms are good. The people are very accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was great!

I think the price is inflated for the area's which is extremely low budget. I am not sure why using cash required a large cash deposit but it's not a nice way to spend part of your traveling $… I am happy to have had a place where my dog was accepted for only 15$ a day. And the simple breakfast was a nice bonus. Thank you super 8 Shelton.

This facility is neat, clean and well maintained. The location is convenient for food and any miscellaneous needs that might come up. I feel it's a good value for the consumer. That being said if the prices go up for the high season in that area, value will diminish.

Great service. Food was hot, fresh, and in a timely manner. We were allowed to use multiple coupons and even combined and all with one order.

I just stayed at motel 8 for two nights. The staff were kind and tolerant of my two young boys it was clean and safe. We will stay there again if we need to. Thank you.

The Super 8 motel in Shelton is not bad but it's not the best either kind of small the employees are friendly the prices are middle-class but what it does have going good for is the complimentary free breakfast in the morning.

Rooms aren't bad at all. One bedroom with two comfy beds and pillows, a T. V. A breakfast room from 6am to 9am. I'd go again.

Soda machine 2 dollars but quit working. TV was not set up. Continental breakfast had no egg or meat available. Entire first floor was under renovation bathroom heat lamps did not work wall switch was upside down. Nice big room pet friendly although seems someone at the hotel is using cologne to cover a somewhat light cigarette smell. Seems like this from lobby all the way down hall and in the rooms. Big bathroom big shower tub no shortage of very hot water. Basic single room queen bed had loveseat desk fridge coffee pot and wardrobe hanger. 75 for room 15 for pet and another 100 security deposit paid in cash still required a credit card to be on file. Front desk checks room before you get deposit back. Bed was very comfortable room seemed cleaned well. Very close to an auto repair facilities same street within a half mile 24 hour Denny 100 yards away. Very nice and comfortable hotel after a week in the Olympic national forest camping with dog.

Friendly, clean and hospitable, just off the highway. Near many shops and restaurants.

Great room & service… beds aren't the best but they are remodeling, hopefully get new ones.

You can tell they're trying hard to get better and better but the beds really do suck and I've seen better pillows in the prisons I work at.

The hotel was perfectly passable for an overnight stay. The rates were low, and the rooms appeared clean. The Continental breakfast was minimal, and the beds were a little lumpy.

It is very hard to see from the road. No formal sign. Hiding behind the Jack in the Box. The only decent thing about the stay was the breakfast. Don't forget anything, they will not call.

Room was large and clean, nice decor. Convenient to Jack in the box and Dennys. Refrigerator, microwave one look.

Hotel was super clean, staff very friendly and helpful, and overall an excellent value for the price! We will definitely stay here again!

Solid, clean, easy access to The Ridge. A good overall hotel, and priced reasonably. Stayed here seven nights over the past few months, and aside from a parking lot that gets a *touch* tight on "race" weekends… nothing negative to mention.

It was ok. Not really worth the money but the staff is really nice.

This hotel is falsely advertised as having on site laundry for guests. Upon arrival we inquired abut the laundry facilities and we're told that management had sent a request to corporate to change this information on the website. While this may not seem like an issue to most, my wife and I have two children in diapers, and we use cloth diapers for both. We have to do at least one load of laundry every day to have enough diapers for our children. So this false advertisement caused us a great inconvenience by forcing us to find laundry facilities elsewhere. Aside from this, our family has greatly enjoyed our stay while my wife was vending at the yearly Shelton Days festival.

Yup. 3 stars. Nothing describes this place better than 3 stars.

Creaky walls, creaky steps. Only some fruit, waffles and bread for breakfast. Our bed was comfy enough for a couple nights but the other 2 rooms we had had stained blankets and sheets and sticky floors. Also the smoke alarm is right outside the bathroom door, so if you take a steamy shower you have to keep the door closed and exit fast. My husband left it open all of 20 seconds and the smoke alarm went off in our room.

Nothing particularly exceptional. The staff is kind and welcoming; the beds are comfortable. We spent very little time in the room because we were there for Olympus Rally but the time we were there was good!

Car trouble stranded me in Shelton during a long road trip. This Super 8 turned out to be just the thing I needed. The amenities are simple and standard — cable TV, Wi-Fi, breakfast, etc, but that's all I need from a hotel. My room was clean and free of odors, the shower was great, and the staff were nice. It's centrally located — I was in walking distance from food, groceries, and a mechanic. I'm glad I decided to stay instead of trying to sleep in my truck!

Cheap for a place to sleep. Rooms are dated and musty. Breakfast is pre-made pastries and coffee. Kids walked down the hall barefoot and came back with black feet, so I doubt they have ever cleaned the carpets.

Room was neat and clean, as expected, with a recently updated bathroom. Convenient location near stores and a few dining options. Staff are incredibly friendly. But the best part is the breakfast! Waffle iron and batter made for an incredible breakfast alobgisde all the other stuff. Easily the best value for overnight stays in Shelton. Edit: we stayed a second night, this time in a smoking room (it was the only one available). Noticeable difference, with this one being worse. Smell of stake smoke aside, the furnishings were older and everything felt as if it had been worn more. Overall, an easy 4/5 but definitely get a non-smoking room.

We come to this place a lot as it is close to The Ridge Motorsport circuit. The place is clean, friendly staff, and also provide simple breakfast. We always stay here when we come here to do a track day.

Dreadful place to stay. Poor smelling corridors and lobby. Room clean but dingy.

Easily viewed from highway and close to exit. Rooms are clean and stocked nicely. I love the free breakfast, that room and those waffles.

Most Super 8s are pretty rough and I normally stay at Hilton family hotels like Hampton Inn. I chose this hotel because it was closest to the new Ridge Raceway Park. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The keepers are very nice and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Don't let the price or the Super 8 name scare you off. Enjoy.

My story begins on sunday jan 30.2011 my husband and I and two small children checked into the super 8 in shelton washington, we are relocating to the area and wanted to ckheck everything out befor we commited to the move, after checking in we got to are rooma and everything seemed fine, lated that night I went to give my 5 year old a bath and as I go to plug the tub I seee hair all over the bottom of the tub and I was upset with this, I use to worke in a hotel and wi know the standards, Well I wipe all the hair out of the towel and take it to thew front desk, the front desk was unpet about the hair and offered us a new room. The next thing I notice is that the roof looks like it is going to cave in over by the window, I check it out and its a huge bulged that has been half assed fixed. So the next day we leave early to check on work and a few houses. We had a wonderful day my family has never seent the ocean and we headed out to westport and had a wonderful day, collecting sea shells and sand dollars and running from the water. We have dinner with my grandparents in shelton. We headed back to are room around 7:30 8 o'clock. Everything is going good having a relaxing night when we get a phone call asking us to have are son stop jumping on the bed cause the people next store couldnt sleep, we apoligized and had him stop.
