Worst ever small toilet and beds to be queens plus heat was on 86 still didn't hot.

Worst room ever. Door had been kicked in. Safety latch broken off. Deadbolt would not work. Moved shower curtain and the rod fell on me and hit the tub. What a waste of $80. Would not recommend to anyone.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money, save your time. This place is so not worth the headache they will give you. They say one thing and then go back on it. Did not like how we were treated. Also they had bed bugs and acted as if we had brought it. Which we didn't. I had over 60+ bites. There's other reasons I wouldn't recommend this hotel too, but my last point says a lot already. Not worth it.

This is a dirty motel, the bo even with a full motel, very little was placed to eat if any at all, there was no tissue, never give them a credit card to pay for the room, I always have and at check out I then pay cash, with is what I told the gal I would be doing, cause I don't like interest and the over cost for these rooms is enough. I went to check out to pay with cash and she said I put it on your card last night. I said take it back off and I want to pay cash as I explained. She said no impossible. Which is a lie, I told that straight to her. I am a platinum member and was not even treated with dignity by her. This place is filthy it's not worth 50$ let alone the price she is charging. She needs to be fired for her attitude, and this facility needs cleaned up. By the way if you are not aware the need covers only get changed 1 time a week. Yuck it should be every day, one of towels had been used and folded and put back on the rack wet, no excuses for this facility. Don't stay there better cheaper place just down the road from there.

Economical. Clean basic rooms. Very easy access from Interstate. Restaurants in walking distance. Downtown easy short drive. Great value hotel. Recommended!

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in… The floors in the rooms were grimy and will make your socks dirty… My toilet did not flush, I had to throw my toilet paper into the wastebasket… When I ask the guy at the front desk about the breakfast, He said we had donuts yesterday but everybody ate them.

Nice staff, decent price Stairs/walkways are cement and quite dirty (maybe stained). Room looked as clean as one could expect. But then — loose dirt on the bed cover and what appeared to be a coffee spill on the comforter — right at the top by the pillows. If the comforter isn't washed each make at least put the nastiness at the bottom. It got worse… Unclean, unsanitary, and UNSAFE — a large spot of blood with drips going down the front of the toilet. I wanted to believe it was a stain or even some type of rust, but with a wet rag it cleaned right up. ***Might want to do a walk through before paying!

Good, clean, cheap. Not bad, just no frills. Parking lot is big enough for a truck towing a trailer. Quiet in room. No frills.

I thought this hotel was great for it's price. The staff was very professional and nice. The receptionist gave us a great restaurant recommendation, and she was kind enough to hold the last downstairs room for me to accommodate my dog. She also popped out from behind the desk to give my dog some scratches which he loved. The rooms were clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable.

We travel quite a bit, and usually give the hotels a little leeway — however, we had to sleep under an open hole in our ceiling. Obviously someone was trying to hang a fire detector and left the hole open. All I could see was a highway for bugs! There were patched holes on the wall, and the room smelled like smoke (I know, there are no smoking signs up outside, but none on the door or in the room. ) We had no phone in our room to call the front desk. The rooms are tiny. The electrical service is a fire waiting to happen — there was a power strip with the microwave and refrigerator plugged in to it, and there was another power strip behind the bed. My husband uses a CPAP and had to access the strip behind the bed. Otherwise, there was only one other plug in the bedroom — the one in a recessed compartment on the desk. On the plus side, there was plenty of parking, including for big rigs. This wouldn't be a bad stop if they did some maintenance!

Very bare bones. The neighboring room's key card reader stopped working in the wee hours of the night and had to be forced open — LOUDLY and without any heads-up to us — by a motel employee with a crowbar.

Paid for and reserved a king bed room, got a full bed room instead and the front desk told us the computer shows it being a king room but that we could email their manager to get money back or switch rooms. Management never responded to email. Room had trash in it on arrival and no towels, housekeeping did not change linens without calling the front desk to ask. Smoke alarm was removed from ceiling and wires were left exposed. Microwave was filthy, alarm clock left unplugged and just thrown on the desk. Breakfast was decent but get there early to have a good selection. Stay here only as a last resort.

Got a great pair of rooms at the last min on a Tuesday night. Everything was perfect for a good night's rest. No unwanted surprises at all.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff was super friendly. It was quiet, the AC/heater worked well. They are also dog friendly which is important for us when we travel. The only negative part of this visit was the "free breakfast. " Limited selection, questionable fruit freshness. Stay for the cheap, comfortable room but plan to have breakfast somewhere else.

Staff was very helpful good for a quick stay. TVs were small and the breakfast was decent.

Could be better but could have been worse. Room was clean and beds weren't bad. Was a little bit crowded in there but that's minor. There was no toilet paper at all and no towels in our room but other than that the stay was fair for the price.

The place was incredible and quite. I stayed here to find solace and enjoy the night and I achieved that. I didn't hear any other residence and all the workers were kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again with how great the place was for the price.

For $55 a night it is very very clean. Decent rooms and there's even though Lake behind it.

Bedcover wasn't terribly clean, but the oversll room was clean. Price was great! Beds comfortable.

Clean and comfortable in a convenient location for an affordable price. We were pleased with the room we had.

Room was pretty good, had good air conditioning/heating and comfortable beds. There were a bunch of flies when we arrived inside the room, as well as hairs on the bathtub wall. Free breakfast in the morning, things like cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, toast and waffles. Overall a decent, affordable 1 night stop on a roasdtrip.

A pleasant surprise for the price considering some of the other reviews. The room was comfortable, didn't have any funny smells and best of all, was spotless. The young lady at the desk was very nice and the staff I met during my stay were pleasant. This was my first stay at this location and I would gladly stay there again.

Clean but small room with small bathroom. Thin walls and loud fridge and AC. Hard bed and pillows. Lake view was nice but not a ton of food options within walking distance. Breakfast options were limited but ok. Not bad for a one night stay but wouldn't stay longer than that.

Excellent customer service. Both the people that assisted us in check in and check out were great. Our room was clean and the neighborhood felt safe. Our room smelled pretty badly of a mix of cigarette smoke and weed but we were able to spray the room and it wasn't too bad. The parking lot is well lit and with all the construction was surprisingly quiet.

The staff was great & very accomdating. The room was clean. However, the hotel badly needs to be updated. The beds were NOT comfortable. The decor, outlets, lighting & door locks are old. We only stayed because we had been in the car for 14 hours & needed sleep. This was the only available hotel room that night in Ellensburg, called all the other hotels. We also had to pay $145 for the room, about twice it's normal rate due to the demand for rooms that night in Ellensburg. If I had not been so tired, I would have kept driving.

Clean, friendliness, and I really liked the shampoo and body wash dispenser it makes showering easier.

Room was ok. The front desk guy was a jerk they told me to park in truck parking so I did next morning I couldn't move they had me park on ice and mudd… I asked him for a shovel to move some snow and ice he said your the truck driver figure it out he wouldn't give me a shovel because it puts wholes in dirt so I just spun my wheels until it caught in the dirt causing two huge wholes could of been prevented if the guy would have let me use the shovel he had jerk so now you gotta deal with wholes anyways ha ha.

Every time I am their I am very pleased with the way I am treated, room is awesome so are the rates and staff.

I'm booked my room through Hotwire, and it was ready when I arrived less than 10 minutes later. A nice clean room with a big comfortable king-size bed. Troy at the front desk help me with several of my questions, including where to get cheaper gas and where to grab some food. He was spot-on about both things. If you're ever in the area, stay here!

Non Smoking Room: Still smelled like smoke. Price is high for the quality of room you get. Bed was uncomfortable. Sink was disgusting.

I know I am always skeptical of people opinions but seriously we got a non smoking room that stunk like an ash tray. Breakfast a true joke if ur a diabetic ur in trouble. U could at least had hard boiled eggs. The room was very simple and economical. Certainly over priced. Check it out before u pay. The worst longest night ever!

My experience at the Econolodge Ellensburg near University has been a very good experience. Clean rooms, very polite and courteous and attentive staff. The next time at I am in the area, this is where I will be staying. Also there is semi truck parking that is easy in and out. There is food within walking distance as well.

Snowed in on the way to Seattle, nice friendly staff rooms are basic but very adequate with local restaurant discounts.

The view in the back was amazing, the rooms are better then the average motel and the bathrooms are nice. But this place has a amazing view in the morning.

You pretty much get what you pay for at this place. Don't expect to be overly comfortable; the beds are hard and the sheets fall off easily due to no fitted sheet. Our room was non-smoking yet had a distinct smokey smell in it. Rooms have been modernized recently however, and the Wi-Fi is good. The "continental" breakfast is the barest I've seen, only a couple pastries and no meats to choose from.

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times now, the front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, the TV has loads of channels and the breakfasts are great. English muffins, bagels, fresh orange juice, little cartons of real milk, regular muffins. They also have real keys to open the doors.

My truck broke down on I-90 and I was stuck overnight. Fortunately for me, Andy, the tow truck driver recommended this very nice and reasonably-priced motel. I appreciated the good coffee and OJ and selection of muffins and bagels in the morning. Lois was very helpful and welcomed me to fish in the lake behind the motel the next time I'm in Ellensburg. My stay there turned a major inconvenience into a pleasant interlude. Good selection of TV channels, too.
