Review of Mountain View Lodge 2*

So many things went wrong from the get go. We walked into our room and noticed blood on the toilet seat, notified the front desk and that was cleaned. They said we would get a $25 credit because bloody toilet seat was unacceptable because they are a 9.1 rated hotel but then that wasn’t all we ended up finding that night. Get stuff put away and our dispenser was empty for washing our hands, was told they would give us one to replace it I said no they could do it the next day didn’t want to break anything. And just wanted to go to bed since we just drove 3 hours. Getting ready for bed then we found a necklace on the floor that didn’t belong to us and thought Goodness what else are we going to find. That night we didn’t get much sleep walls are really thin you hear everything we had a room on the lower floor so all we could hear were people walking all night 2-3 in the morning still hearing movement upstairs, 6 am neighbors shower comes on and boom your awake no sleep Friday night or Saturday night. Sunday many people checked out so thank goodness we were finally able to get some sleep. The third day we decided to try out the fire pit so we sat outside maybe 10 mins and BOOM the thing exploded on us sending rocks and pieces of the tile everywhere. All in all it was the worst experience I have had at any hotel definitely not a resort. We vacation in Chelan a few times a year and was recommended this hotel since we didn’t do our reservations in time for the other place we normally stay we thought let’s give it a try but won’t be going back. The staff kept saying sorry we will speak with management and the owner they will be so disappointed what rooms are you in. We gave them our room numbers total of 3 and all they said was wow there are a lot of you guys. We thought oh ok they will probably come talk to us or do something but never heard from anyone.
