First of all, it’s a motel. That being said, this location is great. It’s about an hour and 20 minutes from Portland and an hour and 40 minutes from Seattle. There are fast food places in the vicinity, as well as Starbucks, Safeway and a Dutch Bros. Per my stay, I enjoyed it. Room was clean. One tidbit: the water pressure was extremely low, so showering took longer than usual. Other than that, would highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to recharge that is clean and affordable. Would return for sure!

I was very satisfied with my stay at this motel 6. When I checked in I got very fast and courteous service at the desk-it was friendly with a smile. The room was a bit startling (the orange color) but it was nice, clean and comfortable. I didn’t hear the neighbors nor did I worry about my vehicle! The only issue I had, I sometimes lose my balance due to a medical condition, was the round shower stall could have extended about 6” more on the toilet side or had a bar to steady myself. Overall I was very pleased with the room and rate. Thank you, Stephanie.

Would not recommend, we were there no more than 5 min and was asked by someone sitting on the curb if we had cigarettes. There are a lot of people that just hang out next to the motel eyeballing guests. The room was alright as far as cleanliness. The door didn’t shut all the way and there were cigarette burns on our sheets. We ended up leaving, the staff was very accommodating in getting us out and offered to move us to a different room which we declined. Staff was great but the motel needs cleaned up big time.

The room was very clean and the man who checked us in was pretty friendly. The price wasn't bad and the location of our room was easily accessible. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room didn't work very well, and there were several stains on the blankets. What really ruined our stay, however, was when we received a loud call from the front desk VERY early in the morning. They wanted to know if a van that had parked improperly was ours, even though we had already given them our license plate number and car details. Apparantly, they called a lot of the guests at this hour as we later found out. Going back to sleep was nearly impossible, especially given how jarring and loud the ringer tone was. The hotel offered only a passive apology (and certainly no compensation) for this inconvenience, which frankly ruined the entire reason for our stay. Motel 6 clearly doesn't care about their guests; the purpose of paying money for a hotel room is to sleep, and the hotel clearly doesn't understand that concept. We won't be back.

Simple but clean. Would be helpful if you didn’t put every pet next door to every other. Staff was great. Price much better than the night before in Tacoma. Make people use leashes and pick up after their pets!

Customer service was fantastic, the room was clean as were the grounds. Very close to I-5 and tons of shopping. It's tucked in amongst the outlet stores on the west side of I-5. Tea and coffee in the morning and a checkout time of noon. I was very pleased with my stay and likely will again.

A very good value! The room was exceptionally clean and updated throughout. I like the hardwood-style flooring — so easy to see if anything is being left behind upon departure.

We had a very nice stay with you. We liked the new corner shower in room 212. And it was very quiet there. The TV worked well and it was easy to find the guide. Only negative was the cigarette smoky smell of the sheets. This was probably from someone smoking near the washing process; as the rest of the non-smoking room did not smell smoky. We did not report this to the staff onsite as it was not bad enough to make it worthwhile to move all our stuff to another room. We had to leave quite early and enjoyed the available coffee in the lobby. All in all a very nice stay.

Good place to stay. Nice staff. The rooms could have been a little cleaner but all in all a good place to stay and I'm sure I will be staying there sooner then later. Thank you for the experience.

I live near by and since Motel 6 sign went up. That building has become more of a low income housing than a reputable chain. And the crime in my neighbor hood and transient activity is not something I'd recommend from either Motel 6 In Centralia.

Nice and comfortable and clean. Friendly staff and a great location for walking our dog in the park. Coffee was pretty good too. We will be back! :)

The pros: Great staff, helpful and very friendly. Location is excellent with everything close to it. Beds are comfortable. Laundry is on site. The Cons: The motel is very, very noisy. While we stayed there some questionable people were out there. They were running up and down the steps, up and down the deck areas. Some one threw up all over the outside area. Walls are paper thing so you can hear when people use the bathroom etc in the other room. The rooms could also be cleaner but you get what you pay for.

This is not the first time I’ve stayed at this Motel 6. The rooms are exactly what you would expect. Nothing fancy just a room. However… we had an incident happen this time and we will NEVER be back. I was there with my family for one night. About 12:15 am I wake up to my wife screaming and someone walking into our room! I jumped up and headed towards the door as this person backed out very quickly. I slammed the door to “protect” my family and assess what was going on. When I looked back outside a few seconds later the person was gone. Right after that the room phone rings. It’s the front desk. Apparently they had double booked our room and had given these people another key! The desk person did apologize but at this point the damage was done. My wife and kids were absolutely freaked out and none of us slept the rest of the night. When I checked out the next morning, once again I voiced my displeasure. All the desk person said was he was sorry and the other people were scared too. I bet they were scared! It’s a good thing no one got hurt. Someone coming into a room with a family in it can definitely trigger some protective instincts. Never again will I stay Centralia Motel 6

The girls there are sweet and kind however, Management allows employees and there associate to listen and watch you in your room. Also the extreme amount of debris on the ground in parking area, especially in the back need a major clean up. Also it seems as the front of the doors are sprayed painted white as if they are going to print it and they have not yes done so. Id give it a — however they don't have that listed as a choice.

For a Motel 6, it's one of the nicer ones I have stayed in. The reason I am going in this Motel such a low rating is 1) When I booked I explained I could not do steps as I had hurt my left ankle. I was guaranteed a first floor room and guaranteed the room with my credit card. Not only was I given a second floor, the room was next to a furnace room. I called the desk to let them know I could not sleep as it sounded like heavy breathing and a coffee pot perking. The person said they'd check it but I don't believe they ever did. Than during the night the dead bolt locked door blew open! I was a sleep but my dog started barking so I woke up. I double checked to make sure I saw no one outside and shut and locked the door again. About 30 minutes later, the door blew open again. I called the front door and the person told me I had not completely shut the door and you have to hear a click — — whatever — I know how to shut a door and even if there was a special way to shut it and the front desk person knew it, they should of informed me when I checked in. Plus this was the second night (I had requested a room change but apparently they were full), it didn't happen the first night. At this point, I packed and left. Really disappointed as I had stayed here before but doubt I will again.

Staff is excellent. Rooms are clean, linens in good shape, beds comfortable enough. Rooms for disabled include bathrooms that are well equipped for safety-large enough to maneuver a wheelchair or electric personal mobility vehicle. Plenty of safety bars. Roll in shower features bench and hand-held showerhead.

I have stayed here many times over the past year. Each visit is a different experience. I drive here straight from California. A long drive. I get here at odd hours and they are very flexible about check in and out times. In the past, not so much. The staff is generally professional and helpful. I always forget something, like an iron or whatever. They are happy to provide the items I don't bring if they have them. Rooms are always clean. Shower is hot and gets hot fast. Staff is friendly. Price is good. No complaints.

Be careful. Motel 6 shares your information with ICE based on your look and may send you to jaill. Be careful my latinos out there.

Not ideal for extended stays. My family and I have stayed in this motel for 15 nights (16 total). Housekeeping has visited our room twice. We had to ask the front desk for towels three times, clean sheets twice, and TOILET PAPER twice. The TV cuts in and out of signal, which wasn’t a big deal when they told us that it would be fixed, but we had to call the desk FOUR nights in a row. Tomorrow night is our last night and it still hasn’t been fixed. We called the desk once more and they offered to let us change rooms… with tomorrow night being our last night. We paid over $750 so I expected a little better service. Will definitely not be staying here again.

Room was pretty clean, and I liked that you could tell that the bathroom was regularly cleaned and maintained. Great room for the price!

My stay was good. The room was clean and the staff was really nice. Drea, was super nice, needed some extra blankets and she helped me out. She is the best Motel 6 employee I think I have yet met working at this chain of hotels. The beds were okay as they were not the best but they worked well for one night.

We were there because our home got flooded. The day before we were to check out, we left to go to work. As we did so, we left our towels and trash out side the door so our 16 year old son would more easily be able to manage our dogs. Someone from the motel staff that morning informed us we weren't allowed to do that and was very rude in doing so. She made us concerned we were going to be kicked out for it. We made our son deadbolt the door and not answer it.

I stay here several times a year. I always get what I expect for my money. Clean room, friendly, helpful staff. I've never had a bad experience. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the coffee cups a very small. Overall, a clean, safe stay every time.

Great place to stay, beds are comfortable and clean. Lots of room to move around in. Quite and very welcoming. I will stay there again.

Simple clean room, clean bathroom, has nice security features on doors and windows. Decent cable package. No fridge, microwave in lobby. Best hotel in lower price range.

I will never stay there again the rooms were dirty the bathroom had pubic hairs and human waste in the shower I had to clean it before I could use it there was people that were high following you around singing songs really loud right by you… cops there most of the night because of people fighting … druggies working on cars… I did not feel comfortable staying there at all especially leaving my car out there at night… I could not sleep I was up and down all night.

The staff was very nice to my husband and son even though they had to arrive very late. You truly "left the light on for us. " We will always check out Motel 6 for our future reservations first. Or is that check on? A joke for the front desk!

When we started staying night, last year, everything was brand new and shiny, remodeled rooms. Things have gone downhill. The bedspreads are not lasting. Even though the motel is supposed to be smoke free, I have encountered cigarette burns and other stains on the bed spreads. The roof looks like it has wood rot. Your employees are friendly and helpful, but maintenance needs to be done and attention to detail regarding the spreads are needed. We are considering taking our business elsewhere.

Booked online for two beds and paid on the website. Got to the hotel and they said that was just to hold the room, and charged me a different amount from what was quoted. Got to the room, and it’s one bed. No shampoo, conditioner, great new hotel policy. Won’t be staying at a Motel 6 again.

Room upgraded since last time I stayed. Improved I would say. Clean and gave me a good nights rest. Close to good places to eat. Easy access to Interstate 5.

This is decent place for the price paid. The bed I had was firm and pleasant. The 1 king room was good size. The tv's are nice and new and the cable worked well. I would stay here again.

This is not a very clean place. The pic of the toilet paper is residue from the toilet. The place they keep their towels was all dusty and I found a essence stick in one of the towel cubbies. There was wasted up paper at the bottom of the bed. When they came in to clean the room, they didn't clean my bathroom at all. Just gave me clean towels. The only amenities in the room were 2 tiny bars of soap. They don't even have do not disturb signs. They put 2 full size beds in a room that should have 1 queen. The only thing good about it was the price.

I was very disappointed when I got there and the price jumped up to $75.00. I was quoted one price over the phone and was charged an additional $25. I'm on disability and the price difference really hurt my budget I had set up for attending my niece's wedding. I also got the feeling I was charged a fee for my service dog. I do want to add I was pleasantly surprised that customer service was outstanding. Centralia is my home town so I knew that there was a Motel 6 in town. It is more than likely I will stay there in the future if I need to. It would have been nice to have the correct price quoted up front.

The rooms are not in good condition. The bed was clean, but the fixtures in the bathroom for the towels were falling off. I had come back from horrible traffic from the eclipse and I needed a place to stay. I was happy to get the above floor room I asked for, but I got a smoking room and this was never told to me that it would be a smoking room. All night, there was some kind of prostitution going on next door to me, so the people that go there are questionable. The fan seems like it is going to fall off. The shower is not in great condition and the shape of the showers makes it hard to move around. There is no coffee in the rooms which is really horrible since I had been stuck in traffic and driving for hours. The soap would hardly keep you clean b/c it is so miniscule so thank god I had my own body wash. The front desk is nice, but that cannot make up for the sketchy and weird people and the fact that the room is in bad condition. The fan in the room looks like it is going to fall off and does not function well and rattles. This entire motel is dated and needs to be updated. I was happy to have a clean bed so the bed was clean and the room was clean and the staff was friendly which is the only reason I am not doing a zero on this review.

I only needed a place to rest overnight, as I didn't want to travel 350 miles both directions in one day for a class reunion luncheon. The Motel 6 in Chehalis was efficient in checking me in, the rooms clean and the flat-screen TV worked well. The people who occupied the room overhead (I was on the ground floor) keep dropping things on the floor, which resonated like a finely tuned drum, but that was not the motel's fault. My needs were met at the most reasonable price I could expect.

Minimalistic. Staffing fair. Clean rooms, bedding OK. Bathroom of passable quality. Wifi is not free, coverage was spotty and unreliable. Didn't make use of TV. Local (non-franchise fast food) breakfast and dining was good. Shopping opportunities close by, didn't look closer though.

There were rooms available and it was near enough to Seattle that the drive wasn't off-putting. Our room had two beds, a TV, and a small but usable bathroom. It had all of the accommodations one would expect from a modern motel — Wi-Fi, ice/vending machines, cable, etc.

Hotel was conveniently located, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was very clean and the beds were nice and comfortable.

Rooms tells of cigarette smoke. I moved to a different room with no avail. Washroom is smelly and unclean. The Wi-Fi is not free and continuously keeps breaking. The front desk staff are not at all helpful, the only thing they do our connect you to the Wi-Fi provider's tech support and then you have to hold on for 15 minutes before someone answers the call and merely resets the router. This takes care of it for a little while but it goes bad real soon. No breakfast or any other amenities for that matter. The rent is pretty high compared to its value.

Needed a inexpensive place to stay after having a few drinks. Room was a bit cold when I checked in, but after it warmed up it was quiet and relaxing. Love the fact that check out time isn't until 12pm.

My only complaint with every one I have stayed at until tonight is that you give free Wi-Fi when using my AARP card. I have used my card EVERY time I have stayed at a Motel 6 but tonight is the FIRST time I have been given a code and told that free Wi-Fi comes when using your AARP card. Why haven't other locations told me this. They made sure they got my card!

I'm surprised to read some of the less than positive reviews. The staff and the housekeepers are very friendly and the motel is very accommodating. I have been in three of the rooms and they were all clean and the design is very cool. The pool area is very pretty. I love the plants. The location is very convenient, with shopping and everything you could possibly need within walking distance. The comment about the owner being rude is completely false. I'm not sure who this person was referring to, but everyone has been wonderfully polite and we could not express enough how grateful we are for their hospitality and helping us through the duration of our stay. Initially, I did not expect much from any Motel 6, for that matter, but they have definitely surpassed our expectations. Excellent! Many thanks to the hard working staff for being such a pleasure!

This a very clean Motel 6, just renovated, fresh paint, new mattresses, new bathroom, flooring, and furniture… it was very comfortable. The pool area is clean with plenty of deck chairs. And, yes, very dog friendly. Staff is nice, check in was very fast. And, good part is, very quiet, no freeway noise.

Very friendly courteous and efficient staff. Clean rooms and grounds, the grounds and flowers are very nice and well cared for. Comfortable bed nice pillows.

Exactly what I was expecting for the price I paid. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. My only problem with the night I spent there was all the noisy kids who stayed up late into the night playing in the hallway outside my room.

Great pool, clean room, great value. Jumping in the pool and relaxing beat the heck out of sitting in I-5 traffic. Tom Bodett has got it goin' on.

This is a pleasant hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The outdoor pool is quite large, and it kept very clean. There are lots of nearby places to get food, but what we enjoyed most about dining was the vine-covered gazebo. We liked it so much we brought food in to eat there.

Was coming home to Portland from Seattle. It was midnight and I saw the sign for a cheap room. Should have known. Checked in, got room 114, and when I checked the bed there were lots of bugs in the corners under the blankets of one of the beds. I went back to ask for a refund which the desk clerk was happy to give. He apologized but it was such an easy transaction it seemed like it was commonplace for this to happen. Hopefully they take care of it; just check the beds before you sleep the night.
