Not preferred. Room was mostly clean, but the musty smell was constant. Non-smoking room smelled of old smoke, so at least it wasn't overpowering. Added to the musty smell, though, makes it worse. Night staff was very friendly on check in, but the day staff was mute. Very rough crowd, with lots of people just standing around outside at night and only a few of them were smoking. I won't be back if at all possible.

Can't beat the price for a simple nights' stay. Concierge was friendly and helpful. Great location close to the highway. Made my commute easier.

This is a nice inexpensive hotel. Friendly staff, great location for anyone wanting to visit the Olympics or the sound. They may not be the cleanest but it's just what you'd expect from a budget hotel.

A bit pricey for the overall condition of the property. You can tell this is an older building from the moment you drive up. Staff was exceptional. Room was ok, furniture was in good shape and the decor was good. However the carpet could use a good cleaning, and most definitely could use new mattresses as both beds had that well used rut on the side most used and had to rotate the mattresses horizontally. Wi-Fi was good, parking sparse.

The MOST HORRIBLE hotel experience of my life. I work at a hotel and know how you're supposed to treat people and have been doing customer service for a long time. My friend and I already had a reservation and paid for our room and were trying to check in at 2am, being very tired we just wanted to go to our room and sleep but the front desk guy was extremely rude to us and after taking our money refused service and refunded us, for absolutely no reason. And I was still kind and asking as to why he was refusing us service and he couldn't even give me an explanation, even proceeded to call the cops saying we refused to leave although I was only asking him to explain to me why we couldn't stay, even followed us out, after we left willingly, to get our license plate. Safe to say my friends and I will never be going back to this place. I even asked for the managers number and the guy claimed to be manager, but again I work in a hotel and know the manager does not work graveyard. I will be calling and filing a complaint.

The front desk ladies are very nice to chat with the rooms are nice washer and dryers on site make it nice vending machines on all levels building is well kept and the breakfast is above average for free, I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and want a good experience.

Great experience. Not the most modern hotel, but pretty good. Can't wait to stay again.

So far so good. 10% of at the dairy Queen and cents in the same lot. Good deal. Motel a little old but very well kept. And pleasant staff.

The Hotel is located conveniently directly off Highway 3 and Kitsap Way directly behind the Denny's restaurant. This, however, is the only positive attribute. The room I was originally placed in was filthy and looked as though the room was in the process of some sort of remodel. The TV was probably 10 years old, cable channels were sporadic at best. The hotel management balked at my request for a room change, it wasn't until the manager visually noticed that my wife was 6 months pregnant that anything was accomplished. In the end we were able to change rooms (actually upgraded for free). I would recommend driving into Silverdale to obtain a hotel room, for only 15 minutes of driving the experience MUST be an improvement!

This is a nice hotel, recently renovated, clean and comfortable. Very pet friendly for a small fee of $12 per dog, which I think is fair, as other places charge double that. The people who work here are very friendly as well.

You get what you pay for… Mattress had seen better years. Carpet a trip hazzard. Breakfast was ok, basic set out stuff + waffles. Will not stay again.

Friendly staff… However rooms are dust with a sprinkle of mold here and there. I dont feel rooms are cleaned after visits as the room I got had stuff in it left from another person. The bathroom toilet looks old and worn down. Bring your own pillows because theirs are a little sad. Beyond that its not to bad.

The staff was nice and accommodating. I traveled with a pup and was thankful to have a pet room. All that said, my dog found a bone in the room, the tub wasn't functional (I managed to get a plug nearby to utilise it. ) the microwave plate was missing, and the curtains didn't close properly (I bought clamps at a dollar store) The washers we're hit and miss, worked one day not the next. The vending machines, the soda was sold out except for one flavor and the snack machine was out of service. There is a lot of drug use here. Legal and illegal, so beware. The parking lot is monitored on video but not sure anyone is actually checking what's going on. For the price it was useful, not enjoyable.

They gave me 8 reasons as to why this wasn't Super. I think this may have been the worst Wyndham hotel I have ever stayed in. I doubt I will ever stay here again, it wasn't very clean and the heat pump wall unit stunk really bad. The lady below us had a bunch of dogs in the room and when I walked by it smelled really bad of urine.

Old carpets are replaced, no more carpets in halls and many rooms have clean vinyl flooring. Great staff — All you have to do is ask and they will assist in anyway possible. Pet friendly — Business Friendly. Right off the highway for a good night sleep!

Room was a bit questionable cleanliness wise… and bed and pillows were uncomfortable.

Very rude and unhelpful staff. Didn't have our online reservation from Wyndham and acted like we were in the wrong for 45 minutes until he was able to confirm our emails were not fake.

Tv didn't work. Front desk would not answer phone. Only need single, bet charged me for king. Entry door extremely loud. Heard everyone come & go. Drunk woke me up @ 1Am.

I am sorry to say this is one of the worst Super 8s I have stayed in. The room smelled very bad, the pillows were too soft and the extra pillows I requested were never delivered. As well, the mattress was lumpy. It was a clean room.

Clean and decent size room. Air conditioner had difficulty keeping room cool and there is no elevator.

It is what you expect. Good place to stay if you need a place to clean up and crash. Minimal meal service in site, but agreements for discounts at the nearby Denny's. Front desk service was a bit slow at check in. Wi-Fi fee with rooms. Cost was a bit higher than I would expect for a hotel of this type.

Great location. You get a discount at the two neighboring restaurants for staying. Breakfast was average, the TV was huge and had good channels, and the bed was pretty comfortable. If I find myself needing to stay in the Seattle area again, I would stay here.

This location is near restaurants, freeway and easy to locate. Breakfast has a big choice from oatmeal, fresh made waffles, fruits, cereal, hard boil eggs, juices, tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable. I slept and enjoyed my stay.

Stinky, dirty and WAY over priced.

The location was great, right next to Denny's and DQ, which are a few of my favorites. Walking distance to grocery store and its right on the bus line. The room however reeked of mildew and the employee working at the time claimed not to smell anything but he went a headed and switched the room out anyways. So I give service a 4

From the friendly and helpful staff to the soft bed, nice spacious shower, dining room and breakfast I can honestly say I have never stayed at a Super 8 that was this great! I will be booking there for all my future travel to Seattle and part beyond it. The blond girl at the desk was courteous, had a ready smile for a pair of weary travelers. She got our room set up within minutes. The young man on nights pointed us to Denny's to eat and reminded us we had a 15% discount (which we used) the room its self was large, the bed very comfortable and I love the usb ports in the base of the lamps, it made charging our phones while sleeping very easy without having to fuss with electrical outlets. I liked the dining room and serve yourself breakfast which included a waffle maker (which again, we took advantage of). I had an excellent experience and will always be booking there when I'm in the Seattle area.

I travel all over the world for work as a mariner. Was expecting a budget motel experience for the price. Was pleased to find amenities and a staff with attention to detail usally only found in hotels 3 times the price. Flat screen hdTV in the room, updated wall art, and a hot breakfast of waffles. The discount at Dennys and dairy Queen as well as a 24 hour grocery cross the street was nice. 5/5 would stay again.

For a hotel it's mediocre. For a super 8, I was pleasantly surprised. Staff could use some work though.

My husband and I booked a room and it smelled like weed and so we asked for a different room. Well since we didn't smell the weed when we first checked in the stupid people assumed we had smoked the weed when I am allergic and now they want to charge us 200 if the smell is not out tomorrow. I am never going to this hotel EVER AGAIN.

When we walked into our first room it smelt horrid like a cross of mildew and was musty not to mention the halways smelt like cigarette smoke. The second room wasn't much better it smelt more like stale smoke. Long story short I would not recomend staying here.

One room smelled like paint. It was alright. Nothing spectacular.

Clean hotel, good breakfast, and cheap for when you just need a place to sleep.

Super 8 was good. Staff was nice and helpful. The only downside was that thy reused the same sheets when I told them I wanted new ones. They have this little note that they put on the bed that states, "stay green! Reuse your sheets and towels! If you want new towels, leave them on the ground for us to clean up and if you want us to change your sheets, leave this note on your nightstand and we'll change them for you! " Lies. I got the same sheets. I tested them and they failed. But everything else was good. Free breakfast, but get there early because they don't seem to restock it once everyone has taken everything. So all you have left is waffles and cereal. Close to everything I needed.

It wasn't terrible. The room was very basic and needing updating. It was at least clean and near places to eat.

Friendly staff in the front, clean room, quiet, good location for ferry into Seattle, good breakfast for continental, house keeping not so good was there for 5 days (great deal by the way on 5 days) but my sheets never got changed. First day my son had a small seizure in the room and had a small accident on the bed I stripped the bed, they came in re made the bed for him but left my undone not sure what all about.

I really did not enjoy my experience with Super 8. I stayed at this hotel for two days, and if I could have canceled after I arrived and not been charged, I would have. The room boasted an "upgraded" bathroom. That included moldy walls above the shower, a leaking toilet (with a big puddle on the floor when we arrived, and constant leaking throughout our stay), and a plastic tub that felt like it was going to break if we stepped into it. The super start breakfast was really sub par for my experience with Super 8. It had cereal, English muffins and those pastries with a dab of jelly in the middle. Gross. No fruit? Not really a super deal. I'm used to Super 8s that have biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, eggs, and just a lot more than this. I know people are entitled to have different options at different franchises, but this was a sore disappointment. The room was also small. Teeny, tiny bathroom, no fridge (which I'm used to with Super 8), no closet, no ironing board. Smoke free room? It's great — — expect for the fact that it's right across the hall from a smoking room, so the hall stinks like smoke, which goes into your room when you open/shut the door, it comes into the bathroom vent, and really isn't good. And it was noisy. This is something I've now come to realize is the case with Super 8, and am extraordinarily unhappy about it. Doors slam, and our room door slams.
